2009 Bmw X5 Xdrive48i Sport Utility 4-door 4.8l on 2040-cars
Solon, Ohio, United States
As I said in the previous description this car has it all. It was equipped from the manufacturer with everything that is possible to have option wise. There are BMW black honeycomb rims with Pirelli P Zero tires 22in, This is a $6,000 performance upgrade direct from SEMA the custom industry event. The interior is a black on black leather, the leqather is luxury to a higher degree with the sport package. the sport package ads so much to the car. the steering wheel has a premium grade leather, is heated its all here. The sport package is an expensive upgrade that allows for additional settings and for increased driver comforts. INcluded I have the standard , but yet premium BMW rims that were issued with it as well in brand new , mint condition with new tires as well.To have both of these sets on this vehicle is ridiculous. The black on black with the red caliper covers black translucent films - thats why this won BMW OEM Custom Design Competition 2009 at SEMA. The car is all performance , all BMW and as classy as can be. This car has a third row seat option which is very rare and comes in handy, for kids , carpooling , and its very expensive to upgrade when building the car. Its an option that when is there is extremely handy. Everything in the car is premium. The hood compartment , hatch, underbody are all in excellent shape. Very clean. This car has been maintained solely through BMW. Including bi annual BMW certified full details. All work has been done and logged by BMW of cleveland. This car has never seen any technician besides a certified technician from BMW. The car is clean all the way through. Its all been professionally maintained at BMW as well as washing and care. YOu will turn heads and drive in one of the most amazing vehicles you have ever driven. No joke. I think it was 80 plus new with all the options. Headlights turn and are HID. all premium upgrades.
There is amazing sport package custom red grill highlights as well as MGP aftermarket caliper covers for design and heat displation. NOTE : There is a small scuff on the back bumper and maybe some small little chips from driving. The car has 85,000 miles on it and looks like it has 10,000. its so so so clean Weather tech mats for protection come with it. slide up privacy screens on back two windows. You are more then welcome to ask any questions, or come a look over the vehicle. This is an 82,000$ car new. There have just been new brakes and some other things put on. This car is amazing. dont miss on the opportunity to own a powerful V8 with amazing technology and a drive that you wont believe. the BMW maintainence pedigree is astounding. This vehicle is one of dreams. Any questions on vehicle history all documentation can be printed out from BMW Cleveland. This X5 is so nice. |

Weekly Recap: BMW rolls out ambitious plug-in hybrid electric plan
Sat, Dec 6 2014"We believe that for the United States, this is going to be very important." – Julian Arguelles Let there be no doubt, BMW is serious about electric vehicles. The German automaker said this week it will make plug-in hybrid versions of all of its core models, an aggressive move that demonstrates its commitment to electric propulsion systems. BMW did not specify which vehicles will get the plug-in systems or provide a timeline for when they will arrive. But the announcement is clearly more than blustering, and the company revealed a 3 Series plug-in prototype this week at an event in France. BMW said the 3 Series uses a version of its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine (240 horsepower, 300 pound feet of torque) with an electric motor sandwiched between the engine and transmission in place of the torque converter. It has an all-electric range of 22 miles. A plug-in X5 with the same powertrain was also displayed alongside the 3 Series, though the X5 has been on the auto-show circuit for more than a year, including a recent stop in Los Angeles. Those two vehicles use "eDrive," and BMW's plans represent the first widespread transfer of its technology from development of the i3 and i8 models to more mainstream products. BMW said it's developing electric powertrains so they can be deployed rapidly across its range, and they are flexible enough to be used with fuel cells in future products. Enticingly, BMW is also working on a "Power eDrive" system, which debuted in a 5 Series GT concept at the event in France. This setup has two electric motors powered by a 20-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and when teamed with a four-cylinder turbo, pump out about 670 hp. Reinforcing BMW's commitment, the company will add more than 200 jobs at its factory in Dingolfing, Germany, to support electric-vehicle development. The moves come as BMW and other automakers diversify their portfolios while fuel economy and emissions regulations are getting tighter around the world. The United States has set a 54.5-mpg CAFE requirement for the 2025 model year. BMW said the electric vehicles were developed with an eye toward the US market, its government policies and its wide-ranging commuting styles. "We believe that for the United States, this is going to be very important," spokesman Julian Arguelles said. Ben Scott, a senior analyst in London with automotive research firm IHS, said BMW's moves are expensive – but necessary – to keep pace with the market.
2015 BMW M4 gets initiated into the club
Fri, 22 Aug 2014It's easy for enthusiasts and traditionalists to give BMW a hard time these days, what with its plans to add more front-wheel drive models and seeming move away from more emotionally connected cars. However, the push for perfection that underscored its old Ultimate Driving Machine motto is still in there, especially in its M models. In fact, the first M4 recently made it to US shores, and the company thought the only appropriate way to celebrate was to introduce its new coupe to some of its high-performance forefathers.
The M4's initiation into the M car brotherhood involved bringing together no fewer than 52 classic and newer models - including four racecars and many privately owned vehicles - to an empty parking lot and letting the coupe drift and slalom around them to say hello. According to BMW, there was a combined 11,566 horsepower on hand. It takes a pretty trusting owner to stand back and watch as a brand-new vehicle slides its tail out with the rear wheels smoking within feet of their pride and joy. Stay tuned until the end where the owners and their cars get a shout out in the credits. Scroll down to read BMW's press release about it.
BMW Concept X5 eDrive plug-in hybrid headed to Frankfurt
Thu, 22 Aug 2013With six confirmed public debuts scheduled for the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, BMW is definitely going to have its hands full. While we've already driven models like the 4 Series and the i3, one of the more interesting introductions is a "concept" plug-in hybrid version of the new F15 BMW X5 called the BMW Concept X5 eDrive.
As the second concept to wear the eDrive name, this X5 combines a 95-horsepower electric motor with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine to balance performance and efficiency. On the green side of things, BMW says that the eDrive system allows the X5 to reach speeds of 75 miles per hour and a range of 19 miles (although we're guessing not at the same time) under electric power only, to go with fuel consumption of about 62 miles per gallon US (3.8 liters per 100 kilometers). For performance, this plug-in can still accelerate from 0-60 in under seven seconds, and drivers can select from three PHEV modes: one that operates the system automatically, an all-electric mode and a Save Battery mode to preserve the battery's current state of charge.
Aside from the obvious plug port on the left front fender, the X5 eDrive is differentiated from the 2014 X5 with slightly restyled front and rear fascias, subtle blue accents tying in with the BMW i line and lightweight, aero-tuned 21-inch alloy wheels. There is no definitive word on whether the Concept X5 eDrive will make it to production, but judging by BMW's recent commitment to plug-in vehicles, we wouldn't be surprised to see an X5 PHEV on the roads within the next couple of years. We'll see the Concept X5 in just a few weeks in Frankfurt, but until then, scroll down for the official press release.
