You have to see this X5 in person to appreciate it!! It's Super clean!!!

NOTE: MY X5 IT'S NOT PAID OFF YET

Over $17,000 I spent on it!!! $13,000 only on Original BMW Parts!!!

All the upgrades are original BMW parts except for the rear spoiler.

No modifications or upgrades done to the engine! That would have voided my extended warranty!

Here's a list of the upgrades:

Aerodynamic OEM bodykit PLUS Door moldings $3000, $2200 labor, installed them at BMW dealer, and $1500 to get them painted

20" BMW Staggered wheels with tires $5000. 315x35R20 Rear (those tires are huge!) 275x40 Front

BMW Underride protection bar $2000 including Tax

This place specializes in Mat Black paint. The best in California in Mat Paint!!!

BMW Cargo net $450

BMW Auto dim mirror with campus $300. (originally came with Standard Mirror)

Titanium Silver side mirrors frames about $100

BMW ipod connection and Aux connection... I can't remember but bought and installed them at the BMW dealer

A later model BMW TCU (upgrade) for better bluetooth connection $500. bought and installed at BMW dealer

About the X5:

I bought it under CPO warranty covered for 3 years! So it had always been serviced and maintained at the BMW dealer! When I bought it I bought a BMW free maintenance package with it, so all maintenance been done at the dealer, so all parts on it are OEM BMW parts! from brake pads to rotors to battery to engine oil/ all fluids changes, Filters ext... last maintenance done it was last August and its not due to any maintenance anytime soon.

A lot of new parts been replaced on it although it didn't need to get them replaced but my cousin works at the dealer and he replaced a lot of parts for me under the warranty. One of the last recent things been replaced on it at close to 100,000 Miles was the water pump, Although my old one was good!

All the service history are available on the X5 key, if you require I can always go to the dealer and get them print it out.

My baby x5 is well taking care of! never abused or pushed it was only a cruiser! it looks and drives like a brand new X5. Not a single fault with it! All the seats except for the drivers seat are almost in brand new condition because I'm a single guy with no kids and don't carry passengers with me! I've been told by my local dealer that you can do another 100,000 miles on this car with no problems because it was well maintained!!

Whoever is going to own this one of a kind X5 he is a lucky person because I babyed this vehicle!!! I'm even afraid to slam my car door when I get inside it! that's how careful I am with this baby!!

I just had it proffesionally detailed PLUS an auto express care treatment on the paint and the interior been applied that cost me $500! that treatment should last on the car for a year. it's a protection for the paint and the interior. The shine will stay on it for about a year. It's not wax or some quotting! it's a special chemical treatment that blends in the car's paint and interior to protect the whole car from UV rays and bird poop or anything could do damage to the paint or interior. some dealerships charge $1000-$2000 for that treatment and it's a four hours process, all done by hand. Now my X5 been covered it and kept it in the garage for the next owner. I wont be driving it anymore.

Condition:

there's a small... very thin scratch about two inches long on the rear passenger side panel. I think someone keyed it there, it's really not bad, I have a picture of that taken if you wanna see it. Also there is a tiny scratch on the trunk lid it's about 3/4 of an inch and this scratch was there when I bought it. the rest of it its in great paint condition.

Tires: I have Bridgestone Duller runflats on rear with about 70-80 thread left and Michelin Diamries on the Front with about the same thread as the rears.

Not sure what else to list? I can always provide you with my phone number to answer all of your questions.

You are going to love owning this X5!!! you will get compliments on it where ever you go!!! Even at My my local dealer they keep telling (it's the best looking X5 they had ever seeing) Supermarkets... Shopping malls... anywhere I go random people keep telling NICE RIDE!!! or other comments like that!!

Quick list of some of the Specs on it:

Xenon Adaptive headlights

Automatic headlights

Rain sensor, it works automatically slow or fast it depends on how heavy or light the rain is

Remote controled windows. You can open all of your windows and sunroof remotley from the key fob (it's nice feature on hot days). You can close em all by one turn of the key. this feature came standard on the car.

Climat control, with a fan timer to come on anytime you want when you are away from the car for so many hours on a hot day, it realises the hot air from the interior. Nice feature!!

A security code: this is a great Anti Theft feature! the vehicle wont start even with it's key until you enter the 4 digit code that you have pr-set prior when you parked the car last. So you dont have to worry about the wife or kids borrowing your car while you are taking a nap lol.

This a BMW factory feature that it comes only on certain models. never seen an X5 with this great feature before not sure why mine has it

Of course all the other goodies that comes on any X5 like traction control stability control ext...

Please take care of it as much as I did!!!

BMW recalls over 76k 2012-2014 models over brake failure

Sat, 28 Sep 2013

Bimmerfest is reporting that BMW has notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of its intention to voluntarily recall more than 75,000 3 Series, 5 Series, X1, X3 and Z4 models due to a possible loss of power brake assist that could result in the vehicles failing to stop. The recall affects 2012-2014 models equipped with either the N20 or N26 engine produced from May 2012 to August 2013. Until recall repairs have been performed, BMW dealers will discontinue selling or delivering any affected vehicles in their inventories.
The problem has been traced to restricted oil supply from the intake camshaft to the brake vacuum pump, which may cause the brake vacuum pump to fail, resulting in a loss of power brake assist. While the hydraulic brakes will still function, the driver must much apply greater pedal pressure and the distance required to stop the vehicle will increase.
BMW has reported three minor accidents with no confirmed injuries. According to Bimmerfest, drivers who encounter a braking problem should "pull the emergency brake and apply as much brake pedal pressure as possible. If your BMW has an electronic parking brake pull up and hold the switch to engage the brake." Drivers should then park in a safe location and contact BMW Roadside Assistance.

Mini JCW Paceman vs. BMW M135i in family faceoff

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Over the last year, we've had the chance to drive two of the most exciting hatchbacks in the BMW family - the BMW M135i and the Mini Paceman John Cooper Works - but Autocar has managed to get the two corporate cousins together for a head-to-head comparison. Just like our initial impressions of the Paceman JCW, Autocar has little to complain about this new 215-horsepower hatchback... until it begins to factor in the faster, better-mannered and similarly priced M135i.
Despite laying down an extra 100 hp and delivering a 0-60 time that is almost two seconds quicker, the M135i carries the same price tag of 29,535 pounds in the UK; US pricing for the Paceman starts at $36,200, while it still isn't even clear if the US will be getting the M135i. Even more surprising is the fact that the Paceman falls short of the M135i in regards to rear seat and cargo volume, and just barely squeaks out a win in the fuel economy department. Scroll down to watch the BMW versus Mini hot hatch battle.

Hamann M6 Gran Coupe is all flared and shiny

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Oh, Hamann. After rolling out the ridiculously pink Mystère at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the tuning company has worked its mirror-finishing magic on the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, debuting this, the aptly named "Mirror" at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It sure is shiny, and a full 40 millimeters wider than the standard M6 GC.
Hamann says that the, um, "tailor-made suit" exterior treatment is made up of a new front bumper spoiler with large air intakes, side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and wing extensions out back. And the end result is... well, let's just call it noticeable. The special BMW rides on unique 21-inch wheels and sits a full 25 millimeters closer to the ground, as well.
As far as we can tell, Hamann hasn't upgraded the M6's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 at all, though there's a new sport exhaust system that "depending on the application area, either noisily announce its presence or purr sportily." Sounds like it's as loud as its newfound appearance.
