This family has a trio of beautiful BMW E28 5 Series

The Caccavo family is not like yours. They're actually far, far cooler. Rather than dad driving a pickup, mom piloting a crossover and son getting about in a clapped-out compact, each member of the family has their very own second-generation BMW 5 Series. Father Dean's M5, mom DonnaRae's 528e and son Austin's 535is were, remarkably, all purchased for under $10,000, after the family made a maximum-price rule for its cars. The E28 obsession all started innocently enough, with Dean's M5. Shortly after that, DonnaRae snapped up the 535is. When it came time to buy a car, his parents told him he'd need to get a job and make the purchase on his own. He agreed, under one condition – that he was able to buy his mom's 535is. Once the deal was said and done, DonnaRae found she'd acquired the E28 bug, and promptly bought herself the 528e. BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe caught without cladding

Like it or not, the majority of BMW 3 Series variants are on their way out, and the 4 Series models are hotly embroiled in the testing needed to replace them. We've now driven the basic 4 Series, seen spy photographs of the 4 Series Convertible and both versions of the M4 and today we get a better-than-ever look at the 4 Series Gran Coupe.
And, mostly dependent on your personal disposition towards four-dour coupes, that look should be a pleasant thing. The long, swooping Gran Coupe may be roughly similar in size to the related 3 Series GT, but it has been sculpted with beauty in mind rather than crossover function. We expect that those details still hidden by the body cladding here, mostly front and rear, can be filled in by simply remembering what the standard 4 Series looks like and squinting your eyes a bit. Subtlety is thy name, BMW variants.
As for the mechanicals, well, we expect to have the very same greasy bits under the hood and beneath the car that are found in the 4 Series lineup, too.

BMW launches new M Performance accessories for M5, M6

Those looking to make their stock BMW look like an M model might be interested in an M Sport package. But those who already drive an M model and want that extra bit of attitude to take it over the top look towards the M Performance Accessories catalog, to which BMW has just added a new range of add-ons for the M5 and M6.
The new range of accessories include a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic that's 22 pounds lighter and an extra bit throatier than the stock unit. BMW's also offering a carbon-ceramic brake kit and 20-inch alloys to accommodate them, as well as a carbon aero kit, carbon interior trim and those trademark stripes for the truly extroverted BMW performance enthusiast.
