For sale is my 2008 BMW M5.  This car is in great condition inside and out.  It has a few minor rock chips on the front valance.  It also has a scratch on the rear passenger side door that has been filled by the BMW dealer when the previous owner still had the car.  It's very hard to see but I wanted to point it out so there are no surprises.  I also have taken a picture of it which you can see below with the other images.  The wheels do have some curb rash from the previous owner but no significant damage in terms of bent rims, etc.  I just recently took the car to my local BMW dealer to have the oil/filter changed, alignment and balance done, and to have the car checked over.  There was a minor battery-related recall that the previous owner never had fixed so my dealer took care of that while they had the car.  Everything else checked out great!!

WARRANTY - Although the factory warranty has expired, I have purchased a 4 year / 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty that is fully transferrable to the new owner.  This is a $3,000 value and should give you the comfort you need knowing that it is covered under this extended warranty with a zero deductible and can be taken to any BMW dealer for service!

It does have the sequential manual gearbox (SMG) as well which makes it a blast to drive!

These cars are extremely hard to find with low miles and in good condition!  Don't miss this opportunity to own a $100k+ MSRP BMW M5 for a fraction of the cost.

I have the car listed locally and reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.

BMW increases i3 price by $1,075 for 2015

Thu, Jan 29 2015

The BMW i3 did well in its first year on the market, selling 6,02 units in the US and 16,052 units worldwide. For 2015, it gets total price increase of $1,075, partially reflecting new standard equipment that was formerly an option and a bump in its destination cost. The 2014 starting price of $41,350 becomes $42,400 for 2015, an extra $1,050, and the destination increase of $25 to $950 makes the out-the-door price $43,350. The range-extended model goes up by the same amount, from $45,200 last year to $46,250 this year. After destination, it's $47,200 out the door. For 2015, DC Fast Charging is included, no longer a $700 option, thanks to the expansion of the fast-charging network through a collaboration between BMW, Volkswagen and Chargepoint. Beyond that, satellite radio and heated seats migrate to the standard features list. We have a feeling none of this will hurt the plug-in car's sales momentum this year. Bunny couldn't out hop a BMW M3 on-track

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Driving a car is a dangerous hobby, and not just because of other drivers or poor roads. Sometimes, it seems like even the wildlife is out to get you, as evidenced here, here, here, here and here. Now, we can add one more unfortunate car-versus-animal encounter to the tally.
Perhaps believing that this bright orange BMW M3 GTS was a very fast, very loud carrot, an unfortunate bunny leaped into its windshield in a brutal accident at a Polish racetrack. Considering the M3's speed at the time, 89 miles per hour, the passengers are lucky to be okay. Obviously, Bugs didn't make it.
The BMW isn't in such great shape, though. The windshield is in a bit of a state, with safety glass sprayed all over the passenger side of the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any sheetmetal damage, at least from what we can tell from the video. Although there isn't any blood, the hit is really hard. The initial point of impact is at 0:57. Check out the video below.
