Emailing you a figure will not happen but we can
converse about it.
It's a flippin' Auction!
That means...your
number counts...not
mine.
Oh, and by the way, if
you've sent me an email with one of the lame questions above, I'll instantly
presume you haven't taken the time to even read the content of the listing and
that you have no intention of buying at any relevant market value figure. 26
Years in the business has taught me that serious buyers read every line, look at
every picture and research well enough on their own to feel confident to make
offers.
Our presentations are
unmatched and we cater to the serious buyers.
THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN WORK YOUR DEAL IS TO CALL
ME!
My vehicles are so unique and rare that knowing what it should sell for is
nearly impossible.
That's why eBay's auctions...with serious buyers making offers...works it's
magic.

Back-story
from the owner...
So, you have been looking for
the nicest, best kept and maintained modified
BMW M3 you can find...and you are here on eBay
because you have already seen a bunch in your
neck of the woods and they have all been less
than even your lowest expectation of quality. I
know how you feel. Every week I go to specialty
auctions and dealer-only auctions to find the
best of the best in what I call "niche autos".
I'll see roughly 1500-3000 local cars on my
lists every week. First, I sit at my desk and
overview the online lists and pick out the cars
I've come to know are hard to find and great for
my business model of exclusively marketing on
eBay. The M3s are always hitting that list when
they show up. Two to three a month show up
between the three major auctions and a few local
classifieds. I've seen twenty to thirty a year
for the last five to seven years I have been
looking for them. That's a bunch, and yet, this
is one of only a handful M3s I have ever bought
that was nice enough for my business and the
first one that is Supercharged. I am extremely
picky about what I buy. Ownership history,
service history and condition, condition,
condition are very important to me. All too
often, high-end luxury cars are not cared for as
well as they should be...but some are. This is
one you won't want to let slip past you.
Original spectacular paint, stunning original
interior, a service history that was by the book
and modern looks and class, not to mention
awesome modifications...what more could you
want? A great deal? OK, got that covered too.
No, you will not be buying this car for
wholesale or low book values, but you and I
already know you get what you pay for. If you
want unmatched quality, service care and
condition, this car is a rare find. Listen to
what Foy, our writer had to say about his
weekend in this car. Then really look at
the service history recorded below. Look at
every picture very carefully and see the
stunning condition up close and personal...then
make your call with your offer; you won't be
disappointed.
2-owner 2005 BMW M3 coupe in superb
condition with 79,052 miles. Records indicate it
was regularly serviced at BMW dealerships and some time
within the last couple of years (we think) the 2nd owner ponied
up over 10-large (cost of parts only) for a
top-of-the-line VF Engineering Stage II supercharger
system, headers and exhaust. This is likely when
the carbon fiber wrap was applied and the wheels powder
coated. With this setup and custom tune, per VF
Engineering the car now makes around 480 horsepower and
torque increased from 262 to 340. After spending a
week in this incredible BMW, I won't even pretend to be
objective. Pick your favorite onramp, spin the fire-breathing
S54 engine past 7-grand in third gear and I guarantee you'll
drink the Kool-Aid too. It's one of those rare
vehicles that, after a few days, the pedals begin to
feel like a natural extension of your legs, the shifter becomes part of your arm and
communication between tarmac, steering wheel rim to
fingertips becomes symbiotic. Explosive, precise
performance on a very intimate level, with emphasis on
explosive . . .

Your First Drive
Open the frameless door and settle into a
comfortably snug leather seat. Push in the clutch,
turn the key and the big six springs immediately to life.
For sharper throttle response you need to be in Sport mode
so find neutral and press the Sport button located on the
lower center stack. While
you're there, you might want to turn off Dynamic
Stability Control (DSC) too. Wheel-spin will
continually activate the system and boost builds so quickly,
with 480 horsepower and a manual transmission, rear wheel
traction can be an issue. Buckle up, find first, bring
the RPMs up a little and ease out of the clutch.
Engagement is smooth but the engine is so rev happy, a light
throttle can feel almost like a launch. Big power is on
tap from 2,000 RPM all the way to eight grand. That's
a pretty big spread and it is difficult to overstate the
ferocious, type-A personality of this drive train.
Everything is hair trigger but the real
eye opener for me was how firmly it pulls at speeds over 100
MPH. Choose your own adjective; frenetic, blistering,
spine tingling, bone chilling or just down right scary; full
whack in the lower gears is a thrilling experience no matter how
many times you do it . . .
Cornering
Prowess
Just as intense is the handling.
Initial turn-in is instant and bite throughout the corner seems to
defy the laws of physics. This is a comfortable 2-door
sedan that handles like a Boxster or S2000.
Powerful brakes clamp enormous cross drilled rotors that
will zing your wife's bouffant around her face no matter how
much Aqua Net she uses. Notice the tight body seams on
this no hit, no accident cream puff. There are no
rattles, the car does not vibrate at any speed, the air
blows ice cold and the Harman Kardon sound system is epic .
. .
Fenders Full of
Rubber
Compared to a normal 3-series, the M3
gets flared fender arches and a squat, deadly serious
stance. Curbside swagger is a given and few cars
have the street cred of an M3. Stoplight wannabes think they are squaring off with a
333 horsepower car. The choice is yours; inflict a
supercharged 500 horse education, or not . . .

Vehicle
It's not just a (insanely) fast car,
it's a fast car in exceptional condition.
You can see how straight the body is and the whole car
is like that. It doesn't take long to appreciate
the respect this M3 has been given since day one.
Tail and turn signal lights are LED and this BMW has
"Adaptive" brake lights. Under normal braking the
center 20 leds light up. During hard or emergency
braking the outer 12 leds on either side illuminate also

About two hours before sitting down to
finish writing this ad, I got a speeding ticket in this car.
While I can't blame the BMW, I will say that heroic velocity
feels very casual behind the wheel. Acceleration is
definitely an
adrenaline rush but the car is so firmly planted, triple
digits feels like a Sunday drive or, like today, a Friday
afternoon commute right into a speed trap. It's an easy car to enjoy going
fast in because it does everything so unbelievably well and
I'll say it again; this M3 is not just a blindingly fast
car, it is an amenity rich, comfortable cruise missile with
spectacular leg room. (6'4" here and almost have to move
the seat up) Exceptional condition, low miles,
headers
and a professionally installed high-dollar supercharger
system, fully sorted with all the kinks ironed out.
Despite the $195 scolding from my wife waiting for me when I
get home, I hand back the keys with much regret.

The grey leather interior is in knock-out
condition and
both seats are 8-way power adjustable. This car also
has the optional aluminum interior trim and a thundering Harman Kardon sound system with 10-premium speakers and two
subwoofers. It's a great place to conduct the business
of driving . . .
You're going to love the slide-out thigh
support and the tilt/telescopic steering wheel too.

Leather wrapped shift knob is lighted,
glowing a matching orange to the cluster at night. I'm
calling this key a "Smart Key." Instead of a separate
fob, all remote functions are accessed through the key
itself. Additionally, the ignition recharges the
battery inside the key while driving . . .

lot different.

I can't say enough good about the
incredible brakes on this M3. Enormous cross
drilled rotors and plenty left on the pads.
Original owner books.
A note from the owner.
I am a “used car dealer” but before that,
I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original rare and high
quality modified vintage cars and over the past decade I’ve
been in business, have come to appreciate an expanding
selection of high-demand, high value vehicles. I specialize
in and am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that
were cherished by their previous owners. I have an
experienced eye for quality but I’ve discovered that my
preferred buyer can instantly discern such a vehicle and I
have therefore, built my business and reputation around
finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer.
Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict
requirements but a car must do something for me on a
personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the
bidder, that this is an above average, exceptional
vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably
won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of
business.
With just four employees and no sales
people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may
at first glance appear. It has taken great care and effort
to create such an organization and often, an unusually high
investment in a particular car we are about to list. To
sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my
corner and Chris, owner of
A-Best Auto Repair
in Henderson, Nevada has my back. He and his crew can fix
anything; from a low budget beater to the absolute
most expensive exotic you can name, no job is too big and no
small detail unimportant. They do an exhaustive 130 point
inspection on each and every vehicle and nothing escapes
their methodical investigation. Experience has shown that
everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back
to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy
customer that says good things about me. Moreover; it
allows my writer to describe the car with ease and
confidence, something that simply is not possible unless
he thinks it is true. If major issues are found or the
cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too
expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply
absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it
at auction.
After the vehicle is fully sorted it
arrives at our facility where it encounters the suspicious
eye of Tom, my writer that creates the presentations you see
on eBay. He believes absolutely nothing I or anyone else
tells him about the car as he combs over every inch,
researches its history and documents originality and
authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special
features, possible modifications and much more are used to
accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty.
Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 150
high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey
equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the
very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a
logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with
close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed
views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a
lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty
of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep.
Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they so
meticulously clean. This reconditioning can sometimes take
several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially
prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each
car lovingly receives.
Usually, I’ll also include a high
definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If
it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4
you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will
hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system
and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser
thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many
“dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? We
do.
No “dealer,” on-line or in the real
world, takes it to this level. No other seller or
organization provides you, the buyer, with so much
information. I do this because it is the only way I can
convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or
feel their purchase, that my vehicle is for real and what I
say is the truth. All the above is necessary for me to stay
in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every
buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on
eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that
are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought
it.
If you have any questions at all, please
call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is
sincere and your offer serious, you’ll find me the most
accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If
you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my
bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the
conversation. Until you are ready to actually pull the
trigger, I will happily quote you the absolute highest
nationally advertised suggested retail price I can find – a
number we both know will not buy the car so, don’t waste
your time, or mine. I am after all, a “used car dealer.”
Serious buyers know the maximum they can
offer. I then must simply decide if I can sell for that
number.
If you hit the reserve, the decision is no
longer mine. I must sell at that number.
I don't respond to emails
asking for "bottom line, sale price, reserve, or Buy-it-Now"
figures on top line cars.
THE ONLY WAY YOU GET THOSE
FIGURES IS TO CALL ME!
The book values posted below are relevant to "real" selling
figures.
NADA & KBB wouldn't be
in business if their values were not real but their figures
are averaged for the entire nation. If this car is less than or
better than this average, bid or offer accordingly.

Back in June, Toyota and BMW announced a "memorandum of understanding" outlining plans for the two companies to join forces on future products and technology development. On Thursday, they signed a more formal and binding agreement that goes further into detail about the partnership, and it all sounds pretty exciting. The two announced they will work together in four main areas: Joint development of a fuel cell system "Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle"
Ferrari has long been known for the exclusivity of its performance machines. It's on a different level than Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes. But as it transitions to a new era of independence from Fiat Chrysler, Ferrari is going to get a little less exclusive. It's by design, and it means a subtle, slow ramp-up of production – a move Ferrari believes will ensure its future by meeting growing demand in new markets. The strategy was detailed in SEC documents filed this month as part of the company's pending stock offering. The files reveal Ferrari will gradually increase shipments to about 9,000 units per year by 2019. This is a reversal of Ferrari's 2013 plans to cap production at 7,000 cars annually, which it hit on the nose that year. Ferrari shipments inched up to 7,255 in 2014, though that's down from 2012's record tally of 7,405. Ferrari is a vastly different operation than it was in 2013. Longtime chairman Luca di Montezemolo stepped down last fall, and FCA chief executive Sergio Marchionne has been overseeing the company since then. Its IPO has attracted high levels of attention from enthusiasts and investors. As expected, demand has reportedly outstripped the availability of the stock, which has an estimated offering price of $48 to $52 a share. Speaking of more Ferraris, the company revealed a limited-edition model this week called the F12tdf (shown above). Based on the F12 Berlinetta, the car is a salute to the Tour de France endurance auto race that Ferrari dominated in the 1950s and '60s. The V12 engine's output increases to 769 horsepower, while weight is cut by 243 pounds – allowing for a sprint to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. Dramatic carbon-fiber elements and a radical redesign of the body panels give the F12 a more dramatic look. It will be limited to 799 units over the life of the car. If this is how Ferrari is increasing production, we're more than okay with the company's new strategy. OTHER NEWS & NOTES Tesla software unlocks Autopilot features Tesla released the latest version of its software for the Model S this week, which allows the all-electric sedan to drive in a semi-autonomous state called Autopilot. Tesla Version 7.0 enables the Model S to maintain lane position, change lanes by touching the turn signal, and manage the car's speed using an advanced, traffic-sensing cruise control. It also has a parallel parking feature, which searches for open spots and then parks your Tesla.
In many ways, we're living in a golden age of automotive performance. After all, it's possible to show up at a Dodge dealer, hand over about $60,000 and storm away with a 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat. Or for those who prefer a touch more luxury, the BMW M4, Mercedes-AMG C63 and latest Cadillac ATS-V offer between 425 and 503 horsepower, depending on your pick, with a bit more poshness. However, none of these powerful vehicles fit the classic definition of a two-place, droptop sports car, and according BMW head of sales Ian Robertson, that's because the segment is very much in the doldrums. According to Robertson, two factors seriously wounded the classic sports car market. First, the global economic crisis of a few years ago put a serious hurt on sales, according to Bloomberg. Further worsening the situation, the boom in popularity of luxury SUVs and crossovers in the past few years hasn't allowed for much recovery. Even car-hungry China hasn't helped much because of the smog in many cities and preference among some of the very rich there to be chauffeured. Combined, Audi TT, BMW Z4 and Mercedes-Benz SLK sales peaked around 114,000 units a year in 2007, but they are only expected to reach 72,000 annually by the end of the decade. Robertson is pretty pessimistic about the market's comeback too. "Post-2008, it just collapsed. I'm not so sure it'll ever fully recover," he said to Bloomberg.
