E36 Bmw M3 5 Speed on 2040-cars
North Hollywood, California, United States
Don't want to sell my baby but need a bigger car. I've owned this beauty for 4 years took care of it and put only the best and hard to find parts on it. It's a CLEAN TITLE with 167K freeway miles (work far). Always Mobil 1 synthetic oil used very 4k miles and we'll maintained . Now with the fun stuff, hart to find esterol blue convertible with a manual 5 speed top is in great shape with a black rear window also in great shape, the automatic top works great changed the clutch 8 months ago with a stage 2 and a light weight flywheel. Inside have a one of a kind carbon fiber wrapped steering wheel, AC SCHNITZER pedals with the dead pedal and a emergency brake handle, took me forever to find the same collar automatic vader seats with wormers but I found them in perfect condition. The hard top has a black suede headliner. Under the hood I got a AFE cold air intake one of the best in my opinion DINAN strut bar with carbon fiber. 18 inch authentic staggered HAMANN wheels with good tires on it fronts are 235 40s rears are 255 35s plenty of thread on them. The suspension is a fully adjustable Magen coil overs with 32 way dampening. Have a very rear Eisenmann quad tip Exhaust which sounds amazing. This is a great car I get complements on it all the time don't let this pass you by. I'm sure I forgot a few things you could call or txt anytime 818 515-8451

BMW calls in 50,000 motorbikes over fuel pump leak
Tue, 07 Jan 2014If you don't often see motorbikes being recalled, it's probably because there's less to go wrong on a motorcycle. But a problem with the fuel pump on a wide array of BMW Motorrad products has prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall for over 50,000 of the Bavarian two-wheelers across America.
The issue revolves around the fuel pump flange on R-model, K-model, S 1000 and HP2 motorcycles built as far back, in some cases, to 2005 and as recent as 2012, depending on the model. The flange was found to be prone to crack and leak fuel, which NHTSA evaluated as a fire risk. As a result, precisely 50,184 such motorbikes are being recalled to have their flanges reinforced or, where necessary, to replace the entire fuel pump. If you're the owner of such a Bimmer bike, expect a call from your dealer sometime next month, but you can read the full notice below.
BMW considering building 3 Series in North America
Sun, 13 Apr 2014There might be even more BMWs coming from North America soon. The company recently announced plans to build a flagship crossover called the X7 at its Spartanburg, SC, factory. Now, rumors are emerging that the Bavarians might be thinking about building a second North American factory that could build its quick-selling 3 Series.
According to Bloomberg, the German luxury giant is considering several possible locations for a North American factory, including two in Mexico, that may build the 3. "We will decide this in the next months. On the North American continent, there's still potential," said BMW production boss, Harald Krueger, in an interview meant for company staff obtained by Bloomberg.
If BMW decides to open a plant in Mexico, it would be following its rival Audi, which already announced construction of a factory there. Mercedes-Benz has been rumored to be working on a deal with Nissan to build its cars South of the Border as well. Rumors of Bimmer considering Mexican production have also cropped up in the past, so it wouldn't come as a total surprise to hear it made official.
BMW predicts US will be biggest i8 market
Sat, 10 Aug 2013BMW will be showing a production version of its new i8 plug-in hybrid supercar at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, and while we're quite excited about seeing the company's second i product in the flesh. According to a new report from Automotive News Europe, BMW is expecting its largest markets to be the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. Notable for its absence in that list is everybody's favorite mega-market, China.
Automobilwoche, a German-language publication of Automotive News Europe, spoke with the i8's product manager, Hendrik Wenders, who declared, "The US will be by far the largest sales market for the i8." Wenders stops short of actual mentioning what percentage of i8 sales will be in the US, but does mention that it should arrive in showrooms around the world in about nine months. The simultaneous rollout will occur in 50 different countries.
Check back for our full coverage of the i8's debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. If you just can't wait until September, then check out our first drive of the i8 Prototype.
