Exterior Condition- The black paint is in very good condition and is free from any notable defects. All of the body panels have their original vin stickers. There are no indications of any: Rust, accident, or flood history of any kind. Overall, shows as beautifully as the photos! The top is in good condition and has a new back window. The right side of the rear bumper is pushed in about 2".
Interior Condition- The interior shows equally as good, showing less that normal wear for its year and miles. The leather, dash, carpets, and etc. are all in good condition. The headliner is a little loose in the rear. All of the interior options work as they should including the a/c. The left lower portion of the drivers seat has one small dime sized hole. Look at the photos closely for any other imperfections.
Engine and Drivetrain- The engine runs great! Lots of power and no smoke or strange noises. The transmission shifts as it should.
Tires- The front tires have approx. 9/32nds of tread depth remaining, The rear tires have approx. half tread depth remaining.

BMW ups i3 production to 100 units a day to meet demand
Wed, Apr 23 2014To reverse the old Field of Dreams quote, they are coming, so BMW is building them. All indications are that US demand for the BMW i3 plug-in will be larger than initially expected. As a result, the automaker is upping production at its German factor by more than 50 percent in advance of stateside sales, Automotive News says, citing BMW boardmember Harald Krueger. BMW has started making about 100 i3s a day, up from its previous daily rate of about 70 units. So far, BMW, which is expected to begin sales of the i3 in the US later this month, has made about 5,000 i3s. BMW spokesman Dave Buchko confirmed in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen that the company was boosting production of the i3 based not only on US demand but on worldwide demand, but he declined to be specific about BMW's new production rate. BMW started selling the i3 in Europe in November and had racked up a six-month waiting list by early February. Last month, Norbert Reithofer, chairman of the board of management for BMW, estimated that the company would be making a cool 100,000 i3s a year by the end of the decade, and that the global automotive market would support that production level. BMW predicts US will be biggest i8 market
Sat, 10 Aug 2013BMW will be showing a production version of its new i8 plug-in hybrid supercar at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, and while we're quite excited about seeing the company's second i product in the flesh. According to a new report from Automotive News Europe, BMW is expecting its largest markets to be the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. Notable for its absence in that list is everybody's favorite mega-market, China.
Automobilwoche, a German-language publication of Automotive News Europe, spoke with the i8's product manager, Hendrik Wenders, who declared, "The US will be by far the largest sales market for the i8." Wenders stops short of actual mentioning what percentage of i8 sales will be in the US, but does mention that it should arrive in showrooms around the world in about nine months. The simultaneous rollout will occur in 50 different countries.
