2006 Bmw M3 Base Coupe 2-door 3.2l on 2040-cars
Seattle, Washington, United States
Selling my e46 m3.
Lambo doors are currently installed on the vehicle but, The original door hinges are still in place and it's quite easy to switch back to normal swing. Well taken care of! Low Mileage, car was used as just a weekend ride. Shows light wear on the leather seats (but normal for a 2006). Absolutely a fun to drive! Really stable and handles very well! Never had problems! The car has a light painted shade of flames on the side doors. It was from the previous owner, in my opinion it looks cool. In the first 3 pictures the upper part of the windshield is blurred out because I had a sticker there but now its gone and I haven't had the chance to take new pictures. Reason for selling is because I transferred to UW Seattle and commute on the bus everyday and the car is just sitting in the garage. I put synthetic oil in the past 3,000 mi so oil. Just changed the tires, so tires are good for a while. Clean title. Car is stock performance wise. Year: 2006 Mileage: 44,XXX mi. Color: Blackish Grey/Black int. Fuel Economy: 16 city MPG/24 hwy. MPG Transmission: 6 Speed Smg Body: 2 Dr Coupe Engine: 3.2L I6 The extra's are: -Lambo doors ($5000 kit/professionally installed) -LED halo eyes (8 different colors) -JL Audio Sound system (Amp, built-in sub, speakers) expensive system and one of the best brands -Alpine flip out stereo The vehicle is currently located in Bellingham WA and the buyer is responsible for the pick up. BMW wants world drifting record back in US
Sat, 23 Mar 2013BMW just can't stand the thought of the world record for the longest drift winding up in the hands of someone else. The German automaker is set to take a crack at setting a new record by blowing the old one straight out of the water. A driver in China holds the current title after kicking a car sideways for a full 3.6 miles. Now, on May 11, BMW Performance Driving Instructor Johan Schwartz will attempt to pitch a BMW M5 sideways for some 40 miles as part of a stunt to raise funds for the BMW Pro-Am Charity.
We've had the distinct pleasure of riding with the instructors at the BMW facility in South Carolina, and we can tell you that if anyone can keep an M5 at full tilt for 40 miles, it's these guys. BMW has released a teaser video to drum up attention for the stunt. You can catch it below.
BMW Active Tourer to hit US showrooms in 2015
Tue, 26 Nov 2013It's been over a year since BMW unveiled the Concept Active Tourer at the Paris Motor Show, and another four months since it brought the concept back in Outdoor guise (pictured above). Now word has it that the Bavarian automaker is putting it into production.
Although production specs and dimensions have yet to be revealed, the Concept Active Tourer came in a bit smaller than the existing BMW X1. The production version is expected to be based on the same platform that underpins the new Mini hatchback revealed last week in LA, meaning that it will be predominantly front-drive, but an all-wheel-drive version could follow.
There will also be a longer version with a third row of seats, forming part of a new generation of front-drive BMWs to take on the likes of the Audi A1 and Mercedes-Benz A-Class family, of which the GLA will be the Active Tourer's most direct rival. Expect the Active Tourer to arrive in 2015 with a new front-drive sedan to follow in 2017 aimed particularly at the North American and Chinese markets.
BMW M3 takes on Mercedes-AMG C63 S in track battle from Evo

Every few years, a new challenger appears from one of the German brand's long list of competitors, but the result always seems to be the same: Close, but no cigar. The latest challenger to BMW's on-track crown comes from Mercedes-AMG in the form of the C63 S sedan. The AMG has a lot more power, an excellent and balanced chassis and it looks beautiful. But is it good enough to outperform the latest BMW M3? We're not going to spoil it for you. Watch the latest Deadly Rivals video from Evo to find out which competitor comes out on top.
