Up for sale is my 2005 BMW M3 Coupe. I am the second owner and bought this car from BMW of Valencia, California in 2007 with 31k miles. I bought this vehicle with the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty (CPO) and purchased the 100k maintenance warranty along with it. All maintenance is up to date and completed by BMW of Motor Werks in Barrington, IL. It currently has 111k easy miles. I have never raced or tracked this car. I've used it as my daily/weekend car but my family is growing and unfortunately have to part ways with it.
Recent Maintenance:
- Inspection 2 completed
- New brakes @ 95k
- 4 brand new tires within the last 1k miles.
- Oil changed
- Air filter
- Fuel filter
- Spark plugs
Features:
- Competition Package
- Interlagos Blue with Black leather interior
- 6 speed manual transmission
- Factory Navigation system

The interior/exterior is in excellent shape. The wheels have absolutely NO curb rash or scuffs on them at all! I just installed 4 brand new tires all around. I have babied it since I bought it and has been garaged kept. It has never seen snow and was stored in my heated garage throughout the winter. The Interlagos Blue color is extremely rare and personally my favorite on the E46 M3. If you are looking for a well-maintained and clean E46 M3 with a 6 Speed manual and Competition package then this is truly the one!
I have a clean and clear title in hand with NO liens.
Asking $23,500 or best offer.

Automakers want to stop the EPA's fuel economy rules change, and why that's a shortsighted move
Tue, Dec 6 2016With a Trump Administration looming, the EPA moved quickly after the election to propose finalizing future fuel economy rules last week. The auto industry doesn't like that (surprise), and has started making moves to stop the EPA. Ford CEO Mark Fields said he wanted to lobby Trump to lower the standards, and now the Auto Alliance, a manufacturer group, is saying it will join the fight against cleaner cars. The Alliance represents 12 automakers: BMW, Fiat Chrysler, Ford, GM, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Toyota, VW, and Volvo. Gloria Bergquist, a spokesperson for the Alliance, told Automotive News that the "EPA's sudden and controversial move to propose auto regulations eight months early - even after Congress warned agencies about taking such steps while political appointees were packing their bags - calls out for congressional action to pause this rulemaking until a thoughtful policy review can occur." The EPA was going to consider public comments through April 2017, but then said it would move the deadline to the end of December. That means that it can finalize the rules before President Obama leaves office. The director of public affairs for the Consumer Federation of America, Jack Gillis, said on a conference call with reporters last week when the EPA originally announced its decision that it is unlikely that President Trump will be able to roll back these changes. Gillis also said on the same call that any attempt by the automakers to prevent these changes would be history repeating itself. "These are the same companies that fought airbags, and now promoting the fact that every car has multiple airbags," he said. "These are the same companies that fought the crash-test program, and now are promoting the crash-test ratings published by the government. So, it's clear that they're misperceiving the needs of the American consumer." There are more reasons the Allliance's pushback is flawed. Carol Lee Rawn, the transportation program director for Ceres, said on that call that the automotive industry is a global one, and many automakers are moving to global platforms to help them meet strict fuel economy rules around the world.
BMW i3 EV continues to shed camouflage
Thu, 11 Apr 2013As BMW gets closer to introducing the production version of its plug-in i3, we keep seeing the hatchback being tested with lessening degrees of design-obscuring camouflage. Last we heard, BMW is expecting to have the i3 ready by the end of this year, and the swirly, blue camo does little to hide its basic design in these latest spy shots.
We get our first clear look at almost everything above the wavy beltline including the silver roof edges and matching mirror caps, and it can't hide the dip in the beltline behind the B-pillar - matching what we've already seen on the i3 Coupe Concept unveiled at the LA Auto Show last year. Another change we notice is the lower portion of camo removed from the front fascia allowing us to see the air opening and the black, vertical inserts leading up to the fog light bezels. Judging by the "Hybrid Test Vehicle" stickers on the side of this prototype, we can only assume that this is the optional range-extended model.
2015 BMW i8 configurator is ready to show the future
Mon, 22 Sep 2014Good news if you're one of the lucky few that can afford the new BMW i8. The high-performance hybrid's configurator has gone live on BMW USA's consumer website, meaning you can head in and customize till you drop.
If you've ever played with a BMW configurator, you'll instantly feel at home with the i8's. You have the choice of four trim packages (your author refuses to use BMW's pretentious "World" trim names), followed by wheel and exterior paint options. The interior choices are fixed to the trim level, so aside from trim, color and the choice of two wheel options, there isn't a lot to pick out on the i8.
Head on over and take a look.
