Fun to drive, the harder you push it, the better. Love It.

Here is a gorgeous, 2004 BMW M3 SMG 333 HP Convertible! One of the nicest luxury sport cars you will find and is in excellent condition inside and out. It has 135k miles. Always stored during winter, parked in the shade during summer. 3.2L inline 6 cylinder engine sounds amazing and the 6-speed SMG transmission is a manual transmission that does not require the driver to use a clutch. It can be driven in a casual automatic mode or you can use the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters to drive the car just like you would a regular manual and it changes gears incredibly fast! The handling, performance and overall look of this BMW are second to none. The interior is in great shape. The seats, carpets and interior panels have minor wear and no tear. Really took pride in this car! This BMW has every option you could want including the factory in-dash navigation system which is very easy to use and it works great! I just updated it. This Sport Package M3 has the 10-way power adjustable seats which are amazing. These seats even have a 3-Stage heated seat option which is great especially in the spring or fall when you want the top down but its a little cooler out. This M3 has a power convertible top that works flawlessly and will open or close in seconds. The convertible top looks brand new. Tinted windows. There are very few cars on the road today that offer what the BMW M3 does in terms of safety, performance, luxury and class. If you like how it looks in the pictures, you will love it in person same as I did. ALSO, It has parking sensors and a $1700 BUILT IN RADAR POLICE DETECTOR. It really works. It got me out of so many tickets; it already paid for itself. Sensors are all around the car, not just straight ahead like those cheap windshield Radars.

BMW recalls over 76k 2012-2014 models over brake failure

Sat, 28 Sep 2013

Bimmerfest is reporting that BMW has notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of its intention to voluntarily recall more than 75,000 3 Series, 5 Series, X1, X3 and Z4 models due to a possible loss of power brake assist that could result in the vehicles failing to stop. The recall affects 2012-2014 models equipped with either the N20 or N26 engine produced from May 2012 to August 2013. Until recall repairs have been performed, BMW dealers will discontinue selling or delivering any affected vehicles in their inventories.
The problem has been traced to restricted oil supply from the intake camshaft to the brake vacuum pump, which may cause the brake vacuum pump to fail, resulting in a loss of power brake assist. While the hydraulic brakes will still function, the driver must much apply greater pedal pressure and the distance required to stop the vehicle will increase.
BMW has reported three minor accidents with no confirmed injuries. According to Bimmerfest, drivers who encounter a braking problem should "pull the emergency brake and apply as much brake pedal pressure as possible. If your BMW has an electronic parking brake pull up and hold the switch to engage the brake." Drivers should then park in a safe location and contact BMW Roadside Assistance.

The List: The Red BMW - A Retrospective

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

We can't help but use this time of year to look back at the days before and reminisce about friends who are no longer in our lives. For The List, Jessi and Patrick were often joined by a little, red BMW 3 Series that, at times, felt like a third host of the show. Having been bought used for just a thousand bucks, the red BMW proved to be surprisingly durable. Through jumps, dunks and monster trucks, it remained our little trooper 'till the very end, and on the way taught us all how important a faithful four-wheeled companion is to the life's work of completing one's automotive bucket list.
For our last episode of The List in 2013, we give you The Red BMW - A Retrospective.

Evo pits BMW M3 against Porsche Macan in drag battle

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

If you want to move five passengers in very rapid fashion and you've got a $75,000 budget, two newly introduced four-door models immediately come to mind - both are the highest performing vehicles in their respective segments. But which is faster off the line, to the 60-mile-per-hour benchmark or flat-out over an even longer run? Evo took both to paved aircraft runway to find out.
In lane one we've got the all-new Porsche Macan Turbo, which boasts a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 rated at 400 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The Porsche is fitted with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, and the 4,244-pound crossover has the traction advantage of standard all-wheel drive. In lane two is the all-new BMW M3, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six rated at 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is also equipped with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, but only the rear wheels of the 3,595-pound sedan are driven. Both the BMW and Porsche arrive with launch control, which helps to remove driver error off the line.
Which automaker's launch control system is better off the line? Does all-wheel-drive grip give the crossover the advantage it needs to overcome its adversary's power-to-weight advantage? Will aerodynamics factor into the results? Which would you put in your garage, and why? The video may surprise you.
