This is a turn key E36 M3. I have been collecting cars for years and it is tough to find another one as clean and
perfect as this one. I have service records, books, brochures, and (3) keys w/ remotes. You will be hard pressed to
find another E36 M3 as clean and immaculate as this one. This car looks and drives as good as it did when it rolled
off the assembly line, if not better. I would rate the Interior a 9.5/10 the seats are in excellent condition, the
front seat bolsters are excellent and were just reconditioned by BMW. All functions work and operate on the manual
12-way Vader seats as they should. The carpet is clean covered with a brand new set of OEM Floor mats. The Front
dash is very clean no cracks. The Exterior of the car is a solid 8.5/10. Front bumper has not been drilled for
license plate, the car was ordered as spoiler delete from factory. The paint is smooth. Tires are new and only have
a couple hundred miles on them.
Under the hood the car features the revolutionary S52 Power Plant (3.2L 240HP). These engines have been noted to be
one of the best M engines produced by BMW M GmbH. The E36 M3 in the late 90's was known to be the car out
performing every car in its class and is one of the most recognized M cars in the market place today. Whether you
are buying this for yourself or your son/daughter, this M3 is a true gem.
No expense has been spared to properly store, maintain and address all preventative maintenance on this M3. I do
not need to sell this car, but if this M3 goes to the right home I will be happy. This is a true collectable as
this generation M3 has now hit the 20 year mark. Age, mileage and condition is the largest contributing factor to
this car. I spend lots of time and money to source the lowest mileage and cleanest example M3's across the country.
My process is involved and detailed, once a car comes into my collection I go over the entire car addressing
anything that I feel is necessary, before I offer the car for sale. Please understand what I have to offer here is
special.

Audi leading rival BMW in worldwide luxury sales race
Tue, 11 Mar 2014If you thought competition among the German luxury automakers was hot before, it looks like things are just getting started. For the first two months of the year, Audi has sold more cars than BMW worldwide by just 383 cars.
Audi claims to have sold 242,400 vehicles through February, up 9.3 percent from last year, compared to 242,017 units from BMW, up 8.9 percent, in the same period. While the advantage is tiny, its implications could be huge because Bimmer has been the leader in the premium car segment for the last nine consecutive years. Mercedes-Benz lags behind them somewhat at 229,630 vehicles through February. According to Bloomberg, at this time last year Audi had sold 429 fewer cars than BMW.
The growth is all part of Volkswagen Group's goal to become the world's largest automaker. It currently ranks in second when its heavy truck businesses are considered. The German automotive giant also wants to be the world's leading premium carmaker. "Competition in the premium segment is more intense than ever," said Audi CEO Rupert Stadler to Bloomberg.
Mini has become the Rover that BMW always wanted
Tue, Oct 27 2015BMW has been working for 20 years to build a successful line of British cars, and on the evidence of the second-generation Mini Clubman, it may have finally done it. That means it's time for all of us to get used to the fact that Minis aren't going to be that small anymore. Case in point is this new Mini Clubman, introduced last month and conspicuous by its size. Many of us who've pointed to BMW's stewardship of Mini as an example of retro done right bemoaned the Countryman subcompact SUV – a concept actually ahead of its time. The Coupe and Roadster, perhaps rightfully, deserved (and received) an eye roll. But now there's a so-called four-door hardtop that went on sale this year and this forthcoming, six-door Clubman that approaches the compact hatchback class in size. These vehicles actually look like practical moves at keeping buyers from defecting to larger cars made by someone else, rather than vain attempts at maximizing investment in a set of parts. And in an interesting twist, Mini is turning into one of its ancestors – minus the feeling of inevitable doom. Many of us were led to believe somewhere since Mini's relaunch about 15 years ago that the brand would be a stepping stone into the greater BMW fold. But in reality, it's done exactly the opposite, creating a parallel brand for those not willing to embrace the BMW image, but leaning heavily on British nostalgia. That was sort of the reasoning used when BMW pulled the Rover Group of England away from a fruitful partnership with Honda in 1994 and absorbed it all. In the consolidate-or-die '90s, it made sense. BMW had a small, but successful, line of sedans. Rover had no success outside of Western Europe (its last US attempt at selling cars, the Sterling, ended three years earlier). Yet its Land Rover line of SUVs was just right for the time and the 35-year-old Mini still had image-conscious clout. With every passing day, the brilliance of BMW's move to abandon Rover in 2000 seems brighter. Even ditching Land Rover made sense in the long run (and probably saved Jaguar in the process). With every passing day, the brilliance of BMW's move to abandon Rover in 2000 seems brighter. During a chat with Mini USA VP David Duncan this summer, it became clear the Mini of the past is probably gone. A small, city-sized Mini is not necessarily off the table, but larger and more profitable models are coming first.
Company car offers in decline, but not at The Cheesecake Factory [w/poll]
Sat, 22 Jun 2013As businesses look to keep high-level employees happy, it seems that use of company cars can still be an effective method, although fewer companies are employing it. According to Businessweek, only about 25 percent of companies offer company vehicles as a perk, while less than half give allowances for employees to use their personal vehicles for work purposes.
The report says that one business still in the practice of handing out company cars is The Cheesecake Factory, which offers the benefit to top managers. And we're not talking about some econobox, either. The article indicates the restaurant chain hands out BMWs on a three-year basis - although the company's own report says that the type of vehicle "varies with the executive's level."
Still, we mostly agree with the article's conclusion that money is the best way to keep employees or attract new ones, even if a corporate car is a big perk. What do you think? Let us know, in the poll below, whether a company car could sway you to work for a certain company (not just the Cheesecake factory, where the "Glamburgers" portion of the menu alone is enough to keep a guy hanging around).
