I am the 3rd owner of this Bimmer. I have had it for about a year and a half. Now I'm looking to upgrade to a E46 M3 or a used late 90's Corvette. It runs great. Gas mileage is 31 while going 55 mph. The car is very solid, fast, and fun to drive. It will get sideways when you ask it to. I have multiple tickets for sliding. I believe the 0-60 brand new for this car was around 5.4 seconds. It still throws you back in the seat. The lights are also upgrade as of last year. The brakes were done last summer by me, I didn't buy a sensor though so that light is on, and the airbag light has been on since day one. So don't crash it. The car has great reviews on Edmunds and Car and Driver. This car was just serviced by Belden's Automotive in San Antonio. I have all receipts of maintenance since I owned the car.

It is a 1997 though, so it isn't perfect. It has some quirks, but nothing major. The AC is a little loud when not on full blast, the right side front door doesn't auto lock like it supposed to. You need to manually do it. The driver side seat is fairly worn.

Motorweek remembers the Bimmers that made us all fall in love

The enthusiast's tied-in-knots relationship with BMW makes the Bavarians one of those brands especially ripe for nostalgic flights. That's why as soon as we saw the opening shot of Motorweek's review of the 1986 BMW 325e and a 635Csi, we let out a long sigh and thought, "Ahhhhh, I remember those days..." The two red barons were the new entries for the year, the 325e offering a couple of extra doors for the first time, the 635CSi rounding up the powerplant's displacement compared to the 633CSi that preceded it. The inline six-cylinder in the current 335i sedan gets on with 300 horsepower; 28 years ago, the 325e made do with a 2.7-liter inline six offering 121 hp, taking 9.3 seconds to get to 60 miles per hour from a standstill. That's four seconds more than today. Those willing to pay $41,000 for the 635CSi got a 3.4-liter inline six with 182 hp, and Motorweek praised it as a "confident handling car that does feel big and clumsy at times." History of BMW touring cars looks splendid in Adrenalin trailer

More high-quality documentaries about the history of motorsports are always welcome. When thinking about racing, we generally focus on moving forward to go a little faster or shave a tenth of a second off a lap. There's not much time to look backward. It's too bad, because there are so many fantastic stories from the sport's history. Thankfully, an upcoming doc is taking on the challenge of telling some of these tales, and it looks like a movie not to miss, especially for BMW fans.
Adrenalin - The BMW Touring Car Story mixes high-quality, vintage footage with new interviews from many of the drivers of these machines to craft what looks like a fantastic experience. Covering the period from the '60s to the modern DTM era, just the trailer shows racing from the 2002, 3.0 CSL and of course the E30 chassis M3 of the '80s. You also get to hear from legends behind the wheel like Hans-Joachim Stuck, Johnny Cecotto and Joachim Winkelhock telling their stories.
Adrenalin comes out in November on DVD, Blu-Ray and on-demand. Check out its trailer above for a taste at what it's aiming for. The documentary definitely looks like one to watch.
