You have to pull it with your foot and then it works fine. I drive it daily to commute and it's only happened once in two weeks. I've bled the slave and master and it's helped. There is no loss of fluid which makes me think it may just be I didn't bleed it well enough and there's still air in the system. There are a few cosmetic issues that need to be fixed. The headliner needs to be replaced (about $45 in parts and easy for a DIYer). The passenger side window rolls down but the gears slip when rolling up (I've got the bushing to repair this. Just need to put it in.). The left front fender was backed into by another car and needs replaced (about $100 for used fender and easy to swap out). Also, the driver side seat has two tears that were there when I bought it. The rest of the seats are in good condition for its age."

1997 BMW E36 M3 Coupe with 157,000+ miles. This is my daily commuter car. I've owned it for almost 10 years and bought it with about 80,000 miles. I put about $2,000 in maintenance repairs into when I first bought it and have maintained it with oil changes and required services since then. It's run solid and it only has one issue that needs to be addressed. Either the clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder is bad as occasionally the clutch pedal doesn't pop back up. You have to pull it with your foot and then it works fine. I drive it daily to commute and it's only happened once in two weeks. I've bled the slave and master and it's helped. UPDATE: I put some BMW M Parallels wheels and new rear tires on this past week. The fronts still have plenty of tread. Today I did a motor flush to clean it out followed by a oil and filter change. I also changed out the spark plugs today, so it's running really well right now. I also dropped the price down $400. Make me an offer. It's ready to roll.

The only reason I'm wanting to sell is to get a four door (E39, E46, Audi A4 or A6) or wagon (Volvo V70 or Subaru Outback) so I can transport my kids around. This M3 has really low miles and would make a great commuter car, weekend car or track car. The M3 is a fun race car that BMW has been building since the early 90's (E30). The E36 is a great example of that racing heritage and a lot of fun to drive. It is a RWD 240hp Inline-6 engine that gets pretty good gas mileage (18 City / 26 Highway). 5-Speed manual. Dove-grey leather vader seats. Alpine Stereo with iPhone / iPod hookup in center console.

I'm located in Noblesville, just north of Indianapolis. Thanks.

Take a look at the shocking Rolls-Royce Next 100 concept

    Thu, Jun 16 2016

Rolls-Royce showed off its Vision Next 100 concept today in London, giving a look at what its vehicles might look like a century years from now. Each BMW brand will show its own concept this year; BMW's Vision Next 100 concept was an interesting mix of textile-like patterns with stretchy fenders and a very 2010s four-door coupe shape, but this Rolls-Royce concept looks more like a luxury version of a World Solar Challenge racer. The car's official title is 103EX, following the convention of recent Roller concepts. Whereas its BMW counterpart was perhaps a safe, predictable vision of the future, the Rolls is a striking vehicle and a big departure for the brand. Whether it works as a whole for you or not, it represents the kind of stylistic provocation that made ex-BMW stylist Chris Bangle a household name. While the early Bangle cars were extremely controversial, this Rolls concept is clearly the heir of his penchant for sharply creased character lines. Call the rocker panel crease flame surfacing if you want. The floating headlamps and blade-edged verticality of the fenders are classic Rolls: imposing and visually heavy, without necessarily being classically beautiful. The square, flat grille is, to my eyes, much less successfully integrated. It seems like Rolls had the perfect opportunity to evolve the trademark grille into something more contemporary. In 100 years, the brand will still need to lean on this sort of anachronism? That seems short-sighted. We'll have more on this concept from our man on the ground in London later today. A closer look at the 2015 BMW M3 and M4

    Fri, 17 Jan 2014

It's fair to say we're going to miss the E92 BMW M3. Its high-revving V8, flame-styled looks and excellent driving character made it quite simply one of the best cars of the 2000s. Its replacements, the new M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe have a lot to live up to.
We still have a few months to wait until we can drive the new cars, but that doesn't mean we can't get excited in the meantime, learning everything we can. To find out, we sent west coast editor Michael Harley onto the Detroit Auto Show floor earlier this week to talk about the new M cars with BMW product manager Victor Leleu.
If you want a concise, but highly informative rundown of these new cars, look no further than this video. Leleu talks about the styling, weight savings and engines in a lot of detail, making this an interview M fans aren't going to want to miss. Scroll down for the full video.
