Up for sale is my 1995 BMW M3 with only 41K miles. This model is an automatic. It has been driven by my wife only to make short drives. this car has never taken a long distance trip. It is black on black with vaders. It has the cold weather package which mean it has heated seats, mirrors, door locks, and washer jets. The wheels are lightweight motorsport rims. the rims are in great condition with the exception of a few dings. they are not bent. they tires have a lot of thread left. I would estimate 60-70% left. This car is 100% original.
Mechanical
Within the last year the car has gotten the following work done: New cooling system (radiator, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, coolant), Tune up (spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter), recent oil change, Front and rear brakes and rotors, belts and tensioners, intake boot, vent valve, intake hoses, A/C service, Valve cover gasket and oil filter housing gasket, vanos oil line, oxygen sensor.
Interior
Black leather interior, Vader front seats (no rips or tears), door panels in good condition, heated seats. everything works in the interior as it should.
Exterior
Paint still shines beautifully. The car has quite a few dings and dents. there is a scratch across the hood. much of the flaws have been caused in the supermarket parking lot. someone backed into the front of the car and pushed in the grill panel a little. This car has not been in any major accidents that I am aware of. New wipers and new windshield cowl. that's the trim piece below the windshield.
This car runs very strong. Ive had a lot of work done to ensure its reliability. If I have left out anything please do not hesitate to ask questions. I will also be updating with additional information as the auction progresses. As with all sales through a private party, this vehicle is sold as is. It is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!!

Why BMW doesn't plan to integrate Apple's iOS in the Car
Wed, 12 Jun 2013While watching Apple introduce iOS in the Car during its WWDC keynote on Monday, we wondered how automakers, even the 14 who've already signed up to integrate this new in-car functionality of iOS 7, will feel about having the Cupertino company's mobile operating system supplant their own in-car systems. After all, some OEMs like Ford, General Motors and many luxury automakers have sunk millions of dollars into developing their own advanced infotainment, navigation and communication platforms like MyFord Touch, CUE and older systems like iDrive.
One automaker has now spoken up. A BMW spokeperson was interviewed by someone in the news department of British auto dealer group Arnold Clark and confirmed that the company would not be getting in line to integrate iOS in the Car anytime soon. The reason, as we suspected, is that BMW believes its own products developed over the last decade are both plenty good and already so deeply integrated with other systems of the car that, as told to Arnold Clark, "it would not be that straightforward to start changing all of the architecture of a car as has been implied [by Apple]."
While BMW isn't interested in spending more money to integrate Apple's services and functionality over its own, it has spent a good bit already to integrate iPhone functionality in its cars, including the relatively rare ability to support iPod Out and display Apple's own interface on Mini models with the optional Mini Connected feature, as well as committing to integrate Siri 'Eyes Free' functionality.
2014 BMW 2 Series earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+ [w/video]
Thu, 26 Jun 2014The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has just certified its latest Top Safety Pick+, honoring the all-new BMW 2 Series with the coveted rating.
IIHS cited the 2 Series' crash test ratings, which were rated as "Good" in the small overlap, moderate overlap, side and rollover. In the tricky small overlap test, the crash test dummy was at a "low risk of any significant injury."
The Institute was also complimentary of the 2 Series' head restraint system and its collision prevention system, including forward collision warning and City Braking.
2015 BMW i8: Autoblog Technology of the Year finalist
Wed, 19 Nov 2014
Traditionally, nominations for the Autoblog Technology of the Year award are earned for specific developments - a new-think powertrain, a uniquely developed material, a groundbreaking smartphone app, or what have you. In the case of BMW's marvelous i8, it so bristles with novel applied sciences and fresh features that we broke with tradition and nominated the entire car.
We just couldn't help ourselves. Oh, we could've focused on the i8's carbon-fiber monocoque, or its well-resolved plug-in-hybrid powertrain that incorporates a tiny 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and an electric motor, or its seamless through-the-road all-wheel drive. This is a car that will even have frickin' laser beams for headlights - at least it will for our friends in Europe (and it will in the US, should our legislators ever catch up).
