This stunning example has right around 55,000 miles on her.  She has been fully serviced her whole life, and has an almost new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport Wheels.  There are very few signs of age on her, and it is definitely a no stories car.  There is a few slight scratches on the roof, and a few rock chips, but nothing out of the ordinary, and in fact, the car is going to be remarkable to even the most discerning buyer.  This is for the Porsche Cayman buyer who wants something that is faster, more rare, more desirable, and much more involving to drive.

This Z4M is finished in Imolarot (Imola Red) with Black Leather interior.  It has leather door panels, Carbon Leather Trim, Navigation, and even heated seats.  The interior is in excellent condition.  The slight patina of the interior can be seen in the pictures included with this listing.

Mechanically, this Z4M is phenominal.  The car shifts smoothly, has ZERO hesitations, and with the Sport button activated, it has the most sensitive throttle of any street cars we have driven.  It is truly a remarkable driving machine.  This car is 100% Stock, with the exception of Powdercoated Wheels, Black Kidney Grills, and a Stubby Antenna.  (All original parts included).

This car comes complete with both keys, and books.  It is ready to be enjoyed by a true enthusiast.  The BMW Slogan of "The Ultimate Driving Machine" surely comes to mind when you spend time in this amazing Z4M Coupe.  If you are looking for a COMPLETELY unmolested example of an instant classic, then look no further.  Have the power and finesse of an E46 BMW M3, with the unique styling, and perfect balance of a Z4 Coupe Chassis.  Following the Z3M Coupe, this car is surely one of the best ever made by BMW.

BMW M4 vs. Lexus RC F in Head 2 Head sports coupe showdown

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

It's the showdown everyone's been looking forward to, the East versus West grudge match of the year. We're talking, of course, about the BMW M4 versus the Lexus RC F.
Although BMW uses a twin-turbo straight-six and the Lexus uses a free-breathing V8, the two are pretty closely matched on paper: a luxury coupe with over 400 horsepower channeled to the rear wheels.
The BMW has been doing these cars for longer, and the M4 boasts a higher power-to-weight ratio. But then the RC F has more power - and without forced induction to break up the rev range. So which is the better luxury muscle coupe? Watch the latest episode of Motor Trend Head 2 Head to find out.

2015 BMW X6 stays the course with more power, RWD model

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

What would this world be without the BMW X6? Oh, sure, the whole coupe-crossover design trend surely would have started somewhere, but BMW was the first, launching its odd duck back in 2008. Much as we like to harp on the X6 (for being less functional and more expensive than the X5 on which it's based), people around the world sure do seem to like the thing, BMW having sold some 250,000 examples since the CUV's birth. And as you first saw thanks to leaked images this morning, the second-generation X6 has just arrived.
The shape is familiar, as are specific styling elements like the larger headlamps (now available with a full-LED treatment) and taillamps, mimicking those found on the X5. Two trims are available - xLine and M Sport - the former taking a more subdued approach, while the latter uses the traditionally bulgy and aggressive M-badged kit, with larger air intakes and matte aluminum grille bars. All X6s come standard with 19-inch wheels, and 20s are optional.
Regardless of trim, BMW will now offer the X6 in three guises here in the United States: sDrive35i, xDrive35i and xDrive50i. Dissecting the nomenclature, that means the first two models will be powered by BMW's 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, good for 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The sDrive X6 uses rear-wheel drive, while the xDrive, of course, uses all-wheel drive. Moving up, the xDrive50i uses the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 as its predecessor, though power has been increased to 450 hp and 480 lb-ft. All X6 models are fitted with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and BMW says that the new powertrains are more efficient than before, though official fuel economy numbers have not yet been released.

What's up with this thought-controlled BMW i3?

Tue, Jul 28 2015

Autonomous driving? A car being controlled by just verbal commands? One pilot program is going way beyond that this year with a car that can theoretically be mind-controlled. UK-based insurance-services company MoneySuperMarket is promoting something called "Epic Mind Drive." The project involves a BMW i3 electric vehicle (nice and futuristic) being rigged up with an autonomous driving system. Only instead of the system watching the road, it involves a person sitting in a seat outside of the car with an electroencephalography (EEG) neuro headset connected to the vehicle. In fact, that headset records brain activity and translates it into instructions. Those instructions are converted to radio frequency that's sent to the car to instruct it to perform various speed and turning duties. Apparently, yes, the car will be mind-controlled. Somehow. If this were intended for real-world use, it would go far beyond the autonomous-driving programs that have been in the works for the past couple of years. Nissan has been real active in that area, with chief Carlos Ghosn saying earlier this year that a "hands-free" car for heavy stop-and-go traffic may be available within the next couple of years. And last year, Google unveiled its autonomous car prototype (though it wasn't nearly as cool-looking as the Bimmer i3) while Tesla Motors has been making noise in that area as well. Besides the i3, MoneySuperMarket has developed the Epic Mind Drive mobile game that uses face-tracking technology to control a car on the screen. The idea with these two whiz-bang ideas is to get drivers to realize that they should think as they drive, it seems. As for the telepathic i3, we're as interested in details as the next website, so we checked out the two videos that are supposed to hype the project. While there is some groovy jazzy-electro music involved, the details of how this works are pretty much nonexistent (16 sensors, think to turn the wheel, and that's about it), so we look forward to hearing more about the project once it's underway. You can check out the videos above and below. News Source: Daily Mail, MoneySuperMarket Green BMW mind control
