Caveats: Underside of passenger spoiler is scuffed, No sense in painting it as you will scuff it again.(Cannot be seen unless looking underneath car) Front is very low. Price will be adjusted to refinish the underside of the right hand spoiler. Otherwise as NEW!!
Also, you will notice most of the 2013 Gran Coupes are the 3.0, 6 cylinder (640i) which costs only
$75,000 and come with VERY little in standard equipment and few if any options. The "650I Gran Coupe" on the other hand cost
closer to $100K with a few options and a $110,000 equipped like this .
The 4.4L V8 twin turbo same displacement and layout as the M6. The reason why the M6 is only 1-2/10's of a second quicker to 60MP. Also it is also hobbled with one less gear. The puny poser 640 is a second and a1/2 slower to 60MPH. Two seconds slower with X drive. HUGE DIFFERANCE!!
The difference between a BASE BOXSTER and a 911 TURBO.....
Note: This2013 460HP 490 torque 650i GRAN COUPE M SPORT
was re purchased by the manufacturer (BMW USA, LLC) because the non conformity was not corrected within a reasonable time as provided by Nevada regulation.
BMW graciously repurchased the car from the owner and corrected the concern under the manufacturer's warranty. BMW will very commonly repurchase vehicles to ensure a 100% customer satisfaction. Everything is replaced or fixed and the car is certified to be free of any mechanical issues or recalls.
Concern reported by original owner: "Drivetrain Malfunction light on"
This car carries a New Jersey title even though from Nevada. As New Jersey is the corporate headquarters for BMWUSA and they have been the sole owner of the car.....
This 2013 450HP, BMW 650i GRAN COUPE M Sport has remaining balance of BMW Manufacturer's Warranty for 4 Years/50,000 miles valid until 10/12/2016 or 50,000 miles whichever comes first. Further, this car have also NO COST $0 - FREE BMW Maintenance Program for 4 Years/50,000 miles valid until 10/12/2016 or 50,000 miles whichever comes first. Non conforming repair, in this case a brand new engine receive an additional 12 months of factory coverage beyond the factory 4 year coverage.
Caveats, The front passenger spoiler is curbed on the underside of the spoiler, otherwise as new. will reduce price $200 to fix underside curbing on bottom of front spoiler
Up for your Review: Don't be confused by the low option $90-95K MSRP 650i Gran Coupes and certainly not by the awful 6 cyl. 640i

MOTOR TREND
2013 BMW 650i Gran Coupe Arrival
Automotive engineers and designers call it the occasional imperative
Automotive engineers and designers call it the occasional imperative. It's a function or attribute that justifies a vehicle's purchase, even though it may be rarely used. The back seats in a 911 give it a fig leaf of practicality, while even the most dedicated urban air-hauler will brag about what he could tow with his F 150
My occasional imperative is four doors and four seats. For the first time in years, Mrs. MacKenzie and I don't need an SUV or even a large sedan. All the kids have left home. I can drive something low-slung, sporty, and selfish. But I still like the idea that friends can ride along with us. I like the idea of a four-door coupe
The purists will scream there's no such thing, though the word coupe, which comes from the French for cut, was originally applied to shortened carriages with a single row of forward-facing seats rather than a specific number of doors. Modern lore credits the 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLS for making four-door coupes hip, though Detroit played around with the form with four-door pillarless hardtops of the 1950s and '60s, and Britain's Rover tried the idea in the 1960s with its cool P5 Coup'e.
The Gran Coupe looks exactly like a 6 Series coupe with a couple of extra doors, though that's the opposite of what it is.
The Gran Coupe shares structural metal with the 5 Series sedan, along with its wheelbase. It's longer, wider, and lower, but not by as much as it looks; visual tricks help exaggerate the sporty proportions. For example, the dash-to-axle ratio and cowl height are the same as in the 5 Series, but a longer front overhang and more tapered nose suggest otherwise. BMW designers continue the tricks inside as well. New seats mean your butt rides closer to the floor, but the instrument cowl also sits higher on the dash to heighten the sensation of sitting low in the car.
Munich's bean counters love the Gran Coupe because it allows BMW to charge a premium for styling. The base price for "my" 650i Gran Coupe was $87,995, or $24,670 more than a 550i sedan, which has more or less the same running gear. The M Sport Package and 20-inch wheels and sport tires added $5700, the Bang & Olufsen sound system $3700,(Plus a mandatory buy of the Prem upgrade including Sat/HD Radio,i Pod, etc) $950 and Full LED ultra trick Headlights and Luxury Seating packages $1900 and $2400, respectively. With extras including Adaptive Drive, heated front seats, ceramic controls, Heads Up Display , and Extended Marino Leather that includes Dash, Doors, etc. ,and Alacantara Headliner the total came to $112,845, including destination. Let's hope I do use those rear seats, however occasionally
The end result is a MUCH faster, Vastly Better looking and far more dynamic car
than the long term, and much slower 550i.
-----------
Comparison:
Audi S7 vs. BMW 650i Gran Coupe vs. Mercedes-Benz CLS550
The Day Passion Met Precision: Three of the Most Soulful Cars on the Road Just Happen to be German
Meet Goldilocks, aka the BMW 650i xDrive Gran Coupe. "This is what the F10 5 Series should have been from day one," opined Evans. "Forget this Gran Coupe nonsense -- just call this thing the 5 Series and let the current car quietly fade from memory." Scott went on to say that this "may be BMW's best car at the moment." I sure think it is, and have been referring to it as "my favorite BMW" since I first drove it back in August. As much as I like the looks of the Audi S7, there's simply something more seductive about the Gran Coupe. Even Ron agreed. "Highest curb appeal here, and the valets are more likely to put this one up front." More surprising is the Gran Coupe's interior, the best BMW's ever done by several kilometers. From the two-tone leather to the funky B and O drilled , LED aluminum speaker grilles to the ballsy asymmetric center-stack treatment (how can you not love three separate rows of French stitching spreading up and out toward the windshield like some sort of vine?), almost every inch of the car's innards has been crafted to a standard higher than that of any Audi or Mercedes. More important, the Gran Coupe is the first car of its type (four-door coupes) with an interior as radical as its exterior.
Is the Gran Coupe as awesome on our favorite back roads as the S7? Damn close.. "The car has nice moves, but it's just ever so slightly a tad less sharp than the Audi, but thankfully not nearly as plain vanilla styling" said Kiino. However, it's plenty sharp. "Drives smaller than it is," added Evans. "I found it easy to forget how fast I was going and how big this car is, even when I hit a sharp corner. It's a pleasure to drive hard. Nice transitions; very smooth." Like all three competitors, the BMW is AWD. However, to me it felt the most RWD-biased. This car "without " the X Drive(Our favorite due to the weight) weighs a whopping 300 pounds less , which would have made this car much better. I also thought it had the best steering feel, as did Evans. "There's a nice weight to the inputs that feels pretty natural. More important, the steering feel is surprisingly good, especially considering that it's AWD . If this test were just about pure, back-road capability, the S7 would be a tad closer. But as the BMW is about 99.99 percent as capable as the Audi (identical 0.94 max g, too), but offers so much more in desirability, style, craftsmanship, and that all-important X-factor, we're calling it the clear , hands down winner. As stated, there are no perfect cars. But it's very seldom that I find myself so quick to forgive vehicular flaws. With the BMW Gran Coupe, that's absolutely the case. As such, "The Ultimate Driving Machine" just took on a whole new meaning. Rarely in a 3 car shootout have we seen a car so Superior that it should almost be in another class

Technology of the new Twin Turbo Direct Injection V8
BMW’s new N63, 4.4-litre twin-turbo, direct injected mill, the same engine being released iin the 750i. With 298Kw/400hp and a hefty 450 pound /feet of torque
THE 2011-12 ONLY HYBRID RECEIVE THE 2013 SPECIFICATION 440 HP/485 torque
V8 Plus the 25 HP electric motor for extra acceleration with 120 torque
BMW's twin-SCROLL turbo 4.4L V8 has been a rousing success, with nothing less than a Wards 10 Best Engines award sitting in its trophy case. The praise is understandable and well-deserved, as the engine uses a combination of forced induction and direct injection to serve up a torque curve that's far beefier and flatter than what should be expected from a engine of its size.
BMW put its latest jewel on display at the 20013 Detroit Auto Show, and we snapped some shots of it to give you an idea of why this engine is so special. We've included those photos in one of our galleries, and below the fold, we've thrown in a few observations.
Undoubtedly, the most unique feature of the 4.4L TT is the packaging of the turbochargers in the valley between the cylinder banks.
This is made possible by the swapping of the intake and exhaust ports in the cylinder heads, with the exhaust now exiting towards the middle. This allows the turbochargers to be mounted in the valley with minimal plumbing, which means less bulk, lower weight and better efficiency.
Immediately after exiting the turbochargers, the exhaust gases enter the catalysts. It's important to keep the cats as close as possible, as the exhaust carries heat that is required for the converters' operation.
Packaging the cats in this location underneath the hood must present some interesting insulation challenges!
Instead of expensive variable-vane technology, each turbo makes use of fixed geometry and relatively simple wastegates.
Each compressor is fed via a black oval-shaped duct, as shown above.
Between the compressor outlet and the intake manifolds lie a pair of air-to-water intercoolers, one for each bank. Such an intercooler reduces packaging volume and tract length compared to a top- or front-mounted air-to-air heat exchanger.
Immediately downstream of the intercoolers lie a pair of electronically-controlled throttle bodies.
Below each centrally-located coil-on-plug (COP) assembly resides the direct injector, along with the feed lines and fuel rail. It's presumed that piezoelectric injectors are employed here, which are fast enough to allow several injection events per combustion cycle.
Each fuel rail gets its own fuel-pressure regulator. The operating system of this system is yet unknown, but we're guessing that it's similar to the 200 bar (3000 PSI) that is used in the engine's direct-injection predecessors.
Dished pistons are used to lower the compression ratio, with a compact ring package to reduce crevice volume and frictional losses.
The net effect is a peak of 450 HP, with 485 lb-ft of torque(ONLY15 LESS TAHN THE M6!!) delivered between 1750 and 4500 RPM. In a sport sedan such as the 7 Series, this engine will likely erase fond memories of the musclecar era, and placed in the lightweight 6 series,(Non X Drive Only) you have a car faster than the old M6

It's your eBay anniversary--year 20
redlinefun, We want to say thanks and let you know how much we value having you as an eBay community member. All of us at eBay wish you the very best in the year to come.
If you thought competition among the German luxury automakers was hot before, it looks like things are just getting started. For the first two months of the year, Audi has sold more cars than BMW worldwide by just 383 cars. Audi claims to have sold 242,400 vehicles through February, up 9.3 percent from last year, compared to 242,017 units from BMW, up 8.9 percent, in the same period. While the advantage is tiny, its implications could be huge because Bimmer has been the leader in the premium car segment for the last nine consecutive years. Mercedes-Benz lags behind them somewhat at 229,630 vehicles through February. According to Bloomberg, at this time last year Audi had sold 429 fewer cars than BMW. The growth is all part of Volkswagen Group's goal to become the world's largest automaker. It currently ranks in second when its heavy truck businesses are considered. The German automotive giant also wants to be the world's leading premium carmaker. "Competition in the premium segment is more intense than ever," said Audi CEO Rupert Stadler to Bloomberg.
We just posted our first drive of the 2014 BMW 435i yesterday, but for those wanting even more power from this stylish coupe, help is on the way. From the sounds of it, BMW will be showing off a production-ready concept previewing the M4 next month at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, but until then, we have some new spy shots of the performance coupe being tested at the Nürburgring, along with its four-door counterpart, the M3. Despite all the camouflage, it doesn't take much imagination to picture what both cars will look like, since we can clearly see the more aggressive front fascia and beefier brake setup. One interesting element we see on both cars is a double bubble roof that is almost certainly made from carbon fiber. Based on our report earlier, both the M4 Coupe and M3 Sedan are expected to debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
TAORMINA, Italy -Talks between President Trump and other leaders of the world's rich nations at the G7 summit on Friday were expected to be "robust" and "challenging" after he had lambasted NATO allies and condemned Germans as "very bad" for their trade policies. Trump's confrontational remarks in Brussels, on the eve of the two-day summit in the Mediterranean resort town of Taormina, cast a pall over a meeting at which America's partners had hoped to coax him into softening his stances on trade and climate change. According to German media reports, Trump condemned Germany as "very bad" for its trade policies in a meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, signaling he might take steps to limit sales of German cars in the United States. "The Germans are bad, very bad," he reportedly told Juncker. "Look at the millions of cars that they're selling in the USA. Horrible. We're gonna stop that." White House economic adviser Gary Cohn on Friday confirmed the reports. "He said they're very bad on trade, but he doesn't have a problem with Germany." Cohn said Trump had pointed out during the meeting that his father had German roots in order to underscore the message that he had nothing against the German people. Trump's spokesman Sean Spicer said Trump had "tremendous respect" for Germany and had only complained about unfair trade practices in the meeting. Juncker called the reports in Spiegel Online and Sueddeutsche Zeitung exaggerated. The reports translated "bad" with the German word "boese," which can also mean "evil," leading to confusion when English-language media translated the German reports back into English. "The record has to be set straight," Juncker said, noting that the translation issue had exaggerated the seriousness of what Trump had said. "It's not true that the president took an aggressive approach when it came to the German trade surplus." "He said, like others have, that (the United States) has a problem with the German surplus. So he was not aggressive at all," Juncker added. In January, Trump threatened to slap a 35 percent tax on German auto imports. "If you want to build cars in the world, then I wish you all the best. You can build cars for the United States, but for every car that comes to the USA, you will pay 35 percent tax," he said. "I would tell BMW that if you are building a factory in Mexico and plan to sell cars to the USA, without a 35 percent tax, then you can forget that." Last year, the U.S.
