Welcome to Auto South Inc., today we have for sale a 2006 BMW 645I Convertible. We are approaching the prime time of convertible season and what convertible would you rather have than a 6-series. The 6-series is definately BMW's best convertible. It is a big and spacious car but still sporty and fun to drive. It has a super confortable cabin with a quite ride. Its performance is also thrilling. This car is by far the best in its class. It is equipped with BMW's navigation and entertainment package. It includes a AM/FM radio with a CD player as well. When riding with the top down you can roll up a rear glass calming the winds passing through the car, this makes the ride much more comfortable and enjoyable. The only fee associated with purchasing the vehicle is a $359 Doc Fee on top of the buy it now or best offer price. Keep that in mind when making an offer. If you have any additional questions about this vehicle feel free to call me, John Richards, at (256)504-8789.

BMW M2 reportedly green-lit

Thu, 01 May 2014

A BMW M2 is on the way, according to a sub-forum in the Bimmerpost empire. Of course, we're actively enjoying a few grains of salt, just to be safe, as the post doesn't mention explicit sources, saying only that "multiple inside sources (who have been accurate in the past)," have confirmed the car.
Provided the forum is correct, though, there's some juicy information here. Production is allegedly slated for late fall 2015, with deliveries likely starting in early 2016. The new sports coupe should arrive with 365 to 375 horsepower, courtesy of an upgraded version of BMW's N55 turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-six.
The report claims BMW also considered a modified version of the 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder found in the Mini Cooper S. That engine, known internally as the B48, would have been called the S48 for M2 duty, a significance that we're sure BMW purists would appreciate (the only BMW engine to wear an S designation was the four-cylinder from the legendary E30 M3).

BWM 135i with M3 V8 engine swap combines two things we miss the most

Thu, Apr 16 2015

If you've ever listened to the Autoblog Podcast, you've doubtlessly heard my views on the BMW 1 Series M Coupe. I don't much care for it. That's not to say it's bad, so much as it just isn't what an M car should be. Steven Ewing, Seyth Miersma and a number of other Autoblog staffers think I'm crazy (It's true, he is crazy –Ed.), but whatever. My position on the 1M would be dramatically different, however, had it been fitted from the factory with the truly fantastic 4.0-liter V8 from the E92 M3 (the last great M car, in this writer's humble opinion). Matt Farah of Drive took to the wheel of a 135i that's been completely reworked by Performance Technic and is owned by Marco Svizzero. The car required a salvageable E92 and what we imagine is an incalculable amount of wrench time, with the result being, as Farah says, "possibly the best BMW you could build at any price." Oh, and it sounds absolutely delicious. Check out the car in action.

Jeremy Clarkson names 10 worst cars for 2015 and 2016

Wed, Aug 24 2016

When Jeremy Clarkson, outspoken automotive journalist, ex- Top Gear host, and co-host on The Grand Tour, drives a car he doesn't like he doesn't pull his punches. As Jezza harshly puts it, cars shouldn't just be a form of transportation. These 10 cars made Clarkson's "the terrible 10" list on his column in The Sunday Times for lacking imagination and not giving the journalist "the Fizz," which his list of top 10 cars did. In typical Clarkson fashion, the list is controversial. Some of the cars on Clarkson's list have received praise from other outlets, which shouldn't really come as a surprise since he usually goes against the majority's opinion. Nonetheless, there's at least one car that will catch you off guard. To get a glimpse at Clarkson's reviews and the entire list of cars, head over to his column in The Sunday Times.
