1988 Bmw 635csi Base Coupe 2-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
1988 635 CSI Black over light Grey
Over all the car is in a very good condition considering the age and the price. Engine runs strong ,and has no leaks. Transmission shifts smooth , mechanically it's in a good condition All buttons work great , Seats .Sunroof. Windows . all work fine.. has Alpine C/D sound system A/C system was checked professionally , no leaks and works but needs charging I am against using A/C in these models !enthusiast know why? The front dash fan switch works on very low only ! I got another one ! you can have it, I owned few 5,6 and 7 series models in the past in different years since 1983 , I found all models made in the same era 1977-1989 all 3-5-6-7 series have the same exact issues ! ((( the dash cracks easy in the direct sun heat ))) I protected mine as much as I could and has no visible serious cracks ! just 2 very small minor ones ( see in the picture ), the leather has creases from usage !most enthusiasts know ? only the stitching split on the driver side seat ,no cuts , no wearied out or burned by the sun leather ..
it has few blemishes included in the pictures, this is a 26 years old car. . please inspect pictures very closely and ask for more if you wish? I had changed and fixed a lot of stuff over time ,the list on request
the top paint clear coat of the car lost its sheen from the sun .. I was estimated by Maacco to do a great paint job for $245
it is a head turner super classic , and a great looking car
I will help with shipping cost depending on the final price and the distance.... if I get a full price...contact me to discuss it text me first please and mention in the text ----> 635 CSI 813-808-2540
$500 must be paid through paypal as deposit due upon winning the auction immediately .. . |

2014 BMW M235i
Tue, 21 Jan 2014We know a number of BMW owners who reside in the Munich brand's core demographic - upper-five- and six-figure professionals who like to keep their automotive brand credentials as highly respected among their peers as their alma maters or the letters after their names. Before heading to Las Vegas to drive the new M235i, we asked four of those owners, "What did you think of the E30 3 Series?" Although phrased differently, every one of them had the same answer: "What's that?"
You can counter that we just happened to query a tiny and ignorant sample size, and it's possible that you're right. Nevertheless, in every case,we were speaking to BMW's core demographic, the increasing legion of buyers who have fostered another year of record growth and are responsible for BMW retaining its global luxury title for nine straight years. Question that, and we'll refer you to BMW's marketing department, its several hundred PowerPoint slides and several thousand pages of research that prove the point.
That second-generation E30 3 Series built a name, a brand and an entire segment by defining BMW-ness as superlative driving dynamics meets luxury - shortened to the phrase, "The Ultimate Driving Machine." Thirty years later, just being a part of BMW-ness and luxury is enough for the majority of buyers. The superlative handling, that's optional, and 150 hairy guys meet every Tuesday to keep the old religion going, light torches, sing dirges to the siren long gone and bang on their keyboards about the apostasies of modern buyers.

Upcoming new BMW X6 leaks out ahead of full reveal
Thu, 05 Jun 2014The X5 may have been the first BMW crossover on the market when it arrived in 2000, opening the door to more high-riding Bavarians to follow, but it's been replaced twice over now. The X3 is on its second generation, and with the X1 having been introduced in 2009 and the X4 soon to hit showrooms, that makes the X6 - introduced in 2008 - the oldest crossover in the BMW lineup. But it won't be for much longer.
Soon BMW will reveal the all-new X6, based on the latest X5 but with that tell-tale slanted roofline. But before it gets the chance, a handful of images have leaked their way all over the Internet to give us an advance look at what to expect.
The overall shape of the new X6 comes across as familiar, if a bit less of an awkward take on the vehicle that (for better or worse) launched the crossover coupe segment. Up front the twin kidney grilles and headlights are larger, in keeping with the latest BMW design language, and the bumper less horizontal and more dynamic. Towards the back there's a sharp crease above the wheel arch blending into the more rakishly shaped tail lights, while the metallic vent behind the front wheel arch lends the flank an even sportier appearance.
