Up for Sale is My 1983 BMW 633CSI in factory original Alpine White paint with original Pacific Blue leather interior. This car is a true survivor and is all original, no accidents or damage EVER. This is an estate 1 prior owner California Car. This car has no rust, no re-spray and factory original under coating. Perfect under carriage. I bought this car from a car broker that got it from the estate. I have a copy of the original California title and original California plates. Along with the car comes the original books and cassette cleaning kit (cool). Factory tool set intact but missing a pliers.

This car is an amazing RARE Alpine White over Pacific Blue 5 Speed California Model. Up until now the car has been off the road since 1995. Appears it would not pass smog and was garaged. I have gone through this car and it is back on the road and running great. I have spent dozens of hours and over $3000 in parts/service alone in the past 60 days. Receipt's included.

Here is a list of the items serviced and repaired in the past 60 days.

Fuel Tank removed and professionally cleaned and sealed.
New Fuel Sending unit
New fuel pump pickup
New fuel filter
New fuel pressure regulator
New Fuel injectors
New Water Pump
Coolant flush and bleed

New CTS (coolant temp sending unit)
New ICV (idle control valve)
New ICM (idle control module)
New Battery
New center shaft bearing and support bracket (for drive shaft)
New Guibo (center shaft bearing)
New Clutch Slave Cylinder
NOS Wagner Amber head lights
Oil Change

The car starts right up and runs very smooth. No smoke or leaky valve guides. Very strong engine and trans and shifts very smooth. Car drives tight and handles very well. These cars are the European muscle cars of the 80's only way more smooth and solid. The original Alpine White paint is in excellent original condition with only a few minor dings. No rust or peeling of any kind. All trim in good shape. Factory matched basket wheels are in great shape. Factory under coating intact and no issues under the car. Power sunroof works great. Power windows go up and down. Cabin heats well and blower fans work. Dash has a few cracks from the California sun and has a dash mat in place. Door panels are excellent as well as carpet.

Here is what I feel still needs to be serviced at some point in the near future
.

Front end alignment
New muffler
New tires
AC service
New rear speaker pods
Repair driver seat leather
Replace speedo gear
Dye interior all back to deep rich Pacific Blue
Buff and wax

This car is a great investment and will only go up in value in the very near future. You just don't see time capsuls like this very often. I wish I could keep the car but I have to many projects going right now and don't have the space.

2015 BMW 2 Series Convertible will flip its lid for $38,850

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

For the most part, they look almost identical to their coupe versions, except that they now boast an electrically folding soft top.
BMW is dropping the top of the 2 Series in early 2015 in the US with convertible versions of the 228i and M235i. They'll make their world debut at the Paris Motor Show later this year and will show their faces on this side of the pond at the 2014 Los Angeles International Auto Show.

BMW Vision Gran Turismo takes M235i Racing to the virtual extreme [w/videos]

Wed, 14 May 2014

Late last year, Mercedes-AMG worked up a concept car called the Vision Gran Turismo. It presented it at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but that wasn't the point: the point was that it would feature in Gran Turismo 6 on the PlayStation 3. It wasn't the first concept created specifically for the popular driving simulator - following similar projects by Citroën and Red Bull Racing - and as we reported just a month later, it wouldn't be the last. What we have here is the next.
Looking like an even more extreme version of the M235i Racing, the BMW Vision Gran Turismo concept builds on "the tradition of the successful BMW touring cars of the 1970s" in a heart-pumping, if unfortunately strictly virtual form. It's got more extreme aero than the aforementioned M235i Racing and a striking take on the M division's signature light blue, dark blue and red stripe over white livery.
Underneath the digital bonnet sits the same 3.0-liter inline six as the M235i, but pumping out a prodigious (if theoretical) 549 horsepower - far more than the 333 hp in the actual Racing version or the 320 hp in the roadgoing model. Of course BMW has given it an ideal 50:50 front-rear weight distribution and a curb weight of 2,600 lbs - nearly a thousand pounds less than the roadgoing M235i.

BMW's DTM champ swaps rides with Mini's Dakar winner

Tue, May 5 2015

BMW may not race in F1 any longer, and it doesn't compete with Audi and Porsche in the LMP1 class at Le Mans. It even shut down Mini's short-lived effort on the World Rally Championship. But that doesn't mean it doesn't race at all. In fact it's the current reigning champion both in DTM and at Dakar. So to highlight its varied motorsport programs, the German automaker had two of its top drivers swap rides. German driver Martin Tomczyk, who won the DTM title in 2011 and now drives for BMW, took to Nasser Al-Attiyah's Mini All4Racing Countryman on the sand dunes of Dubai. Meanwhile the Qatari driver, who has won the Dakar Rally two times now, took to the wheel of Tomczyk's BMW M4 DTM around Oschersleben in Germany. They even repeated the game of musical chairs at Hockenheim over the weekend. If anything, the promo clip shot by Red Bull just goes to show how different the varied racing machinery can be, and the challenges posed to racing drivers switching between disciplines. But lessons aside, it's a cool clip, so check it out above. Two champions swap cockpits: Martin Tomczyk drives the MINI ALL4 Racing, Nasser Al-Attiyah the BMW M4 DTM. Munich (DE), 1st May 2015. From asphalt to sand and back again: BMW DTM driver Martin Tomczyk (DE) and MINI ALL4 Racing ace Nasser Al-Attiyah (QA) both entered unfamiliar territory and took each other's cars for a test drive. As part of a video shoot for BMW Motorsport Premium Partner Red Bull in Dubai (AE), Tomczyk, a proven master of his trade on asphalt as the 2011 DTM Champion, took the wheel of the MINI ALL4 Racing, with which X-raid has won the famous Rally Dakar the last four years. During DTM testing in Oschersleben (DE), Al-Attiyah was given the opportunity to drive Tomczyk's BMW M Performance Parts M4 DTM. Two wins at the Rally Dakar are just some of the successes the rally driver from Qatar has had to date. He followed up his first victory in 2011 by winning in the MINI ALL4 Racing in January 2015. "Driving the MINI ALL4 Racing through the sand and over the dunes in Dubai was a fascinating experience and was so much fun," said Tomczyk. "The car has an incredible amount of torwue – and the test in the dunes was an amazing adrenalin rush even for an experienced race driver such as myself. It's totally different to driving on a circuit.
