**CPO until end of JULY 2014**
2 Owner Car, No accident, Clean Carfax, has been serviced at Tom Williams BMW in Birmingham Upgrades include: -Cross Drilled Rotors and upgraded pads all 4 wheels (10mos old) -Goodyear Eagle F1 high performance tires all 4 wheels (10mos old) -Black dipped wheels which dip can be easily peeled to reveal OEM finish Everyone says "cleanest one out there" but this really is the one. A CPO car that has been dealer serviced since day one, and if you know BMW's and this year range you know that a few things always need replacing near, at or before 100K miles: Valve Cover Gaskets (will run you $1,500 min to replace both sides) timing covers ($3,500), transmission flush, new pan & gasket ($1,000), oil pan & gaskets ($1,000), vacuum pump ($1,000)....ALL DONE ALREADY ON THIS CAR UNDER WARRANTY....LITERALLY MOST EVERY GASKET AND SEAL IS NEW AND ALL MAJOR SERVICES DONE.....Google all this stuff and see that it will need to be done on every BMW out there, and if you buy one you will have to do all the above and not have a former CPO car that was meticulously maintained. No paintwork, No accident, no tears on the leather, dash etc, car has minor nickel sized imperfection on passenger side door interior, normal minimal rock chips on front spoiler, one small dime sized ding on passenger rear quarter panel. Literally the cleanest car you are going to find on any site understanding that it has close to 100K. Email with questions Thx! |

134K BMW 5 Series recalled for taillight issue
Fri, 20 Sep 2013BMW is voluntarily recalling 134,100 cars due to a faulty ground terminal in the taillight bulb carriers, causing the sudden failure of brake lights, turn signals and reverse lights. The recall covers 2008 through 2010 5 Series models produced between March 1, 2007 and December 31, 2009, and includes everything from the 528i to the mighty, V10-powered M5. It's unclear if this recall is limited to sedans or extends to the 5-Series Touring.
There have been no reported cases of injuries, fatalities or crashes associated with the taillight issue. BMW will be issuing recall notices to affected owners in the coming weeks, asking them to report to dealers so that the bulb carriers on the taillights can be replaced. All repairs are, naturally, free of charge. Scroll down for the official recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
BMW reveals new X5 Security Plus in Moscow
Thu, 21 Aug 2014A major player in the Russian market, BMW is heading to the Moscow Motor Show this month with a slew of local debuts... most of which we've already seen. But among all the new models making the trek from Bavaria to Moscow will be the new X5 Security Plus.
In a new-model launch that will surprise exactly no one, BMW's latest armored vehicle upgrades the X5 with enhanced protection for oligarchs against Chechen rebels, AK47-touting gangsters and missiles randomly falling on Crimean highways. Now meeting the VR6 standard of ballistic protection, the new X5 Security Plus incorporates reinforced bodywork, seats and joints, along with bulletproof glass.
Of course all that reinforcement (not to mention the jars of beluga caviar and bottles of Stoli in the glovebox) will come with a weight penalty, but the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 ought to do the trick, driving 450 horsepower through BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system to get the vehicle's occupants out of a war zone in a hurry.
BMW reveals full details on M235i Racing
Tue, 17 Dec 2013We were suitably excited when BMW first announced the imminent arrival of the M235i Racing. After all, what's not to like about a factory-prepared racecar with 333 horsepower you can pick up for just eighty grand? Now BMW has released the full details on the latest addition to its racing portfolio, where it joins the M3 DTM, M3 GT4, Z4 GTE/GT3 and 320 TC in a growing family of competition machinery prepared by BMW Motorsport.
Based on the new 2 Series coupe, the M235i Racing is the first M Performance model for the track, and boasts the line's most powerful engine: the 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six has been optimized to 333 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. A mechanical limited-slip differential helps transfer the power to the track surface, along with race-tuned ABS, DSC and traction control.
Four-pot calipers up front and two-pot calipers in the rear shave off speed for the corner and are packed inside the 18-inch alloys, with KW dampers and H&R suspension components. Inside there's a six-point racing harness and Recaro bucket surrounded by an FIA-certified roll cage, and customers can even have an extra seat installed to take passengers for ride-alongs. All of which can be yours for €59,500.00 - equivalent to $82k at today's rates, before taxes.
