I purchased the car with the intent of keeping it long term, then my job changed and now i have a company car..

IT HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED!

Recently I have:
Replaced the tires $1000
Added (from the dealer) the programmed AUX jack $400
Tinted Glass $175
Repaired a vacuum leak $65
Completed all required service $600

I have the receipts to all service and repairs and to my knowledge there is no service required (per the dealer) and there is noting mechanically wrong with this car. I would drive it cross country with no worries.

Highway gas mileage has consistently been 26.5 to 27.5

Exterior is medium grey and inside is a little lighter grey. The interior is in very good condition.

Exterior.. no wrecks. there is one small pin head size ding by the gas fill door.

This car is in very good condition and will make someone a really nice ride. It is one of the most comfortable rides I have ever been in.

You are welcome to come test drive and look before bidding or request receipts.. Nothing to hide!

This family has a trio of beautiful BMW E28 5 Series

Tue, Jan 6 2015

The Caccavo family is not like yours. They're actually far, far cooler. Rather than dad driving a pickup, mom piloting a crossover and son getting about in a clapped-out compact, each member of the family has their very own second-generation BMW 5 Series. Father Dean's M5, mom DonnaRae's 528e and son Austin's 535is were, remarkably, all purchased for under $10,000, after the family made a maximum-price rule for its cars. The E28 obsession all started innocently enough, with Dean's M5. Shortly after that, DonnaRae snapped up the 535is. When it came time to buy a car, his parents told him he'd need to get a job and make the purchase on his own. He agreed, under one condition – that he was able to buy his mom's 535is. Once the deal was said and done, DonnaRae found she'd acquired the E28 bug, and promptly bought herself the 528e. Petrolicious has the entire story on the Caccavos and their E28s, available in its latest installment. Check it out.

Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands

2013 Nissan GT-R and 2013 Alpina B6 mix it up on track and street

Fri, 24 May 2013

Here we have Autocar making an unforeseen comparison: the Nissan GT-R against the Alpina B6 at Brands Hatch and on public roads. Steve Sutcliffe clobbers the circuit in the 3,828-pound, all-wheel-drive sports car, then sees how well the 4,114-pound, rear-wheel drive grand tourer does against it.
Sutcliffe says there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, but that's really only on the spec sheet. The Nissan's got two turbos attached to its 3.8-liter V6, 542 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina's got two turbos attached to its 4.4-liter V8, 532 hp and 528 lb-ft. But one's brief is to be a monster on the track, the other on the boulevard, and if there's anything the video demonstrates, it's each car's focus.
