This handsome 2008 BMW 535xi was traded in by its 2nd owner for a new Mercedes. It is done in Dark Blue with Amaretto Leather. Gorgeous! This 535xi has all the regular BMW stuff plus a Navigation System, Moonroof, Heated Seats, Comfort Seats with Active Backrest & Shoulder Support, Heads-Up Display, & BMW Night Vision. It runs beautifully. Always serviced by BMW. Records indicate regular maintenance. The interior is squeaky clean with supple leathers, and all the buttons working. The Night Vision is not clear due to the camera lens in the front bumper being sandblasted. The body is shiny and dent free. CarFax confirms this BMW 535xi has NEVER been in an accident. Is this the new BMW 7 Series?
Mon, Jun 8 2015Autocar has stumbled upon what appears to be the first uncovered photo of the next-generation BMW 7 Series. It looks like the real deal, and we'll know for sure on June 10, when the 2016 model is officially revealed. This image allegedly appeared on a BMW configurator, and has since been taken down. According to Autocar, the new 7 Series will come in 730d, 740i, and 750i trims (in Europe, anyway), with or without xDrive all-wheel drive. BMW already released a few details about its new 7 Series. We know that the new car will be nearly 290 pounds lighter than its predecessor, and will feature gesture control technology and an LCD display key. We're sure BMW has a whole lot more in store for its new flagship, so check back later this week for the full helping of details.

Audi leading rival BMW in worldwide luxury sales race
Tue, 11 Mar 2014If you thought competition among the German luxury automakers was hot before, it looks like things are just getting started. For the first two months of the year, Audi has sold more cars than BMW worldwide by just 383 cars.
Audi claims to have sold 242,400 vehicles through February, up 9.3 percent from last year, compared to 242,017 units from BMW, up 8.9 percent, in the same period. While the advantage is tiny, its implications could be huge because Bimmer has been the leader in the premium car segment for the last nine consecutive years. Mercedes-Benz lags behind them somewhat at 229,630 vehicles through February. According to Bloomberg, at this time last year Audi had sold 429 fewer cars than BMW.
The growth is all part of Volkswagen Group's goal to become the world's largest automaker. It currently ranks in second when its heavy truck businesses are considered. The German automotive giant also wants to be the world's leading premium carmaker. "Competition in the premium segment is more intense than ever," said Audi CEO Rupert Stadler to Bloomberg.
