2010 Bmw 535i M-sport Twin-turbo Blue/beige M5 Wheels Navigation on 2040-cars
Georgetown, Texas, United States
This
is a 2010 Deep Sea Blue 535i with the rare factory M-Sport package which
includes the aerodynamic exterior parts from the M5 along with the M steering
wheel and paddle shifters, M sports suspension, unique M chrome wheels, and
various M badges. It has a twin-turbo
I-6 with 300 hp backed by a 6-speed automatic sport transmission good enough
for a 5.5 sec 0-60, and fuel economy of 27-29 MPG on the highway, and 20-22
around town. The
interior is a two-tone beige/black with heated Dakota leather seats and 10-way
power adjustments for both driver (with dual memory) and passenger.
It
has almost every available option including PDC (park distance control),
adaptive Xenon HID headlights, dynamic drive, navigation system with live
traffic updates, voice control, TPC (tire pressure control), integrated garage
door opener, bluetooth, anthracite headliner, and shadow line exterior accents.
The
stereo is an upgraded factory unit which has DSP processing (Logic 7), USB/aux jacks for
MP3 players and cell phones, and a HDD which can store hundreds of songs.
2010
was the last year of the E60 body style, and the first year of the upgraded and
much improved (current) iDrive system which includes the short-cut buttons that
make it much easier to use as well as a better HD screen for the navigation
system and media controls.
There
is nothing wrong with the car, and it comes with a clean title. I recently replaced the oil, all filters
(air, oil, fuel, cabin), EGR valve, and spark plugs. On Apr-22-14 at 13:22:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Updating mileage: 86,500 |

BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe and Concept 90 pics from Villa d'Este
Thu, 30 May 2013Royalty and the ultra-wealthy rubbed damp shoulders at this past weekend's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Italy's Lake Como, but even the rain couldn't extinguish the excitement generated by the millions of dollars of cars and bikes on display. Nowhere was this more true than with BMW, which marked the occasion with the reveal of two stunning concepts with six wheels between them - the shark-nosed Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe and the retrosexual Concept 90 motorcycle.
Conceived with Italian design house Pininfarina, the Gran Lusso Coupe is a power broker on 21-inch wheels. While we're not completely sold on every element of its design, this twelve-cylinder two-door concept moves us more than the current 6 Series, and not just because it has four more cylinders underhood and 48,000-year-old kauri wood paneling inside. BMW is sadly mum on production hopes, but we're not entirely optimistic - the company has graced us with a number of attractive concepts at Villa d'Este before, only to pack them away again without ever affording them a production future.
If one of these concepts has a better shot at finding its way into dealers, we have to believe it's the Concept 90 under the BMW Motorrad umbrella. Designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BMW's R 90 S, we think this Roland Sands Design air-cooled boxer would look fantastic on today's streets, especially with the rising popularity of vintage motorcycles and cafe racers.
Audi S3 pitted against BMW M135i in track battle
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Audi and BMW have long been enemies on both the road and the track, with their respective M and S/RS lines duking it out to the delight of auto enthusiasts everywhere. In this video from Evo, two of the rivalry's newest combatants take to the track - the Audi S3 and the BMW M135i.
The new Audi S3, which is finally coming to America, throws down with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder. 290 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque are deployed to a Quattro all-wheel-drive system via a six-speed, S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, allowing the five-door Audi to scamper to 60 in under five seconds.
The BMW, which Americans will know as a long-roof version of the new M235i Coupe, comes to the track with 320 ponies and 331 lb-ft of torque. That's a good bit more than the Audi, but the M135i has only two wheels to send its power to, an eight-speed single-clutch automatic (a six-speed manual is available) and a slightly higher curb weight.
2014 BMW 740Ld xDrive does diesel in a big way
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Slowly but surely, BMW is expanding its lineup of diesel-powered models here in the United States. In addition to the 328d sedan and wagon, 535d sedan and X5 xDrive35d crossover, we now have this, the BMW 740Ld xDrive (not to mention the refreshed 2015 X3 xDrive28d that also makes its debut here in Chicago). As its name - and the photos above - suggest, this means BMW is offering diesel power in its flagship, long-wheelbase 7 Series sedan, set to directly compete with the likes of the excellent Audi A8 TDI.
Under the hood is BMW's familiar 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel inline-six, delivering 255 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, all of which is sent to the road via the company's xDrive all-wheel-drive system and ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. That torque thrust is available straight away from 1,500 rpm, and BMW says the 740Ld xDrive will sprint to 60 miles per hour in a very respectable 6.1 seconds. Official fuel economy estimates haven't been released yet, but we expect the car to net highway fuel economy ratings in the mid-30 range.
The 740Ld xDrive arrives in BMW showrooms this spring, priced from $82,500, not including $925 for destination. We're pretty stoked to drive it. But in the meantime, have a look at fresh images of the big sedan live from the Chicago Auto Show, above.
