2010 Bmw 528i Xdrive Base Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, United States
I purchased this 2010 BMW 528i X-Drive from BMW of Devon last year as a certified pre-owned. At the time my wife and I were having our first child and thinking we needed another 4-door car. One year later I'm r4alizing that I can't live without my coupe - my loss, your gain. I purchased this car because it was immaculate and I've maintained it the as such. The car has no scratches or dents and it has never been in an accident. The interior has no damage whatsoever and absolutely everything is in like-new condition and perfect working order. The BMW warranty ran-up a few months ago and at that time the car was fully inspected by Devon BMW. The car was in great shape and only regular maintenance was needed. You'll notice in the pictures that the unique BMW 18" wheels are complimented with $1000 worth of brand new grand touring tires. The car includes BMW's most updated Navigation i-Drive system. It has Sirius radio and a multi-speaker state-of-the-art sound system with subwoofers under each front seat. You'll notice in the pictures that 2 sets of mats are included, standard carpet mats and all-weather mats. Please email with any further questions. Considering all reasonable offers. Please contact me to see the car, I guarantee it will speak for itself. All maintenance has been done by BMW and all records are available through BMW. I welcome any and all questions. Carfax available upon request.

Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo torquing its way toward Frankfurt
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Few tuners benefit from the kind of factory support that Alpina does, giving the pseudo-aftermarket firm nearly as much official status as BMW's own M division. And this is its latest product.
Set to debut, as expected, at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week is the new Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo, which you can consider, for all intents and purposes, the diesel M3 that BMW never built. While the outgoing D3 (which was Alpina's best-selling model) used a four-cylinder engine, Autocar reports that the new model packs a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo inline-six diesel to drive a respectable 345 horsepower but a mammoth 516 pound-feet of torque to either the rear wheels or all four through the optional availability of xDrive. (European buyers will also be able to choose between sedan and wagon bodystyles.)
The engine is the same as you'd find in the XD3 and D5 (Alpina's diesel performance versions of the X3 and 5 Series, respectively), but in the lighter 3 Series form can propel the D3 Bi-Turbo up to 62 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds and on to an Autobahn-crunching top speed of 173 mph. And as per Alpina tradition, visual cues are minimal, with a subtly optimized aero kit and 19- or available 20-inch alloy wheels. Unfortunately, the 7 Series-based B7 is the only Alpina we get on this side of the Atlantic, but an oil-drenched performance enthusiast can dream.
BMW revisits its 8 Series
Thu, 04 Jul 2013So why would BMW choose July 2 to release a retrospective on the 8 Series? Could it have something to do with the recent unveiling of the Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe concept, another sleek, B-pillarless V12 two-door, at this year's Villa d'Este? We have no idea, but the timing is likely coincidental.
This three-minute look at the 8 Series talks to Niels Hamann, who was smitten with the long-hooded coupe when it appeared in 1989 and finally bought one in 2004. Hamann also happens to be a project manager at BMW, and that came in handy when he wrote a book detailing every aspect of what was BMW's flagship for ten years but to the chagrin of many only managed one generation.
While we wait for the next clue about the Gran Lusso - 8 Series connection, check out the video below.
Check out the trick way you access the tire valve on this BMW Alpina B6
Wed, 22 Oct 2014The wheels are one of the first things you notice when checking out the 2015 BMW Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe. The 20-inch aluminum alloy rollers have 21 spokes that spray out from their hubs, creating one of Alpina's signature design features. But there's also plenty of function to go along with the stylistic form of this hotted-up BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.
By rotating the Alpina roundel and unlocking the center hub, you gain access to the tire valve and bolts, which are hidden inside. They're literally kept under lock and key, and they protect your Alpina's wheels from the elements and theft. This unique center-fill system employing a hollow spoke isn't a new setup for the favored BMW tuner, but since Autoblog had one in our offices this week, we thought we'd take the opportunity to show the unique mechanism in case you haven't seen it before. Check it out in our brief video below.
