Up for auction is a 2007 BMW 550I sports sedan in excellent condition with full bumper-to-bumper warranty. 56,xxx miles. Incredibly fun and rare 6-speed manual transmission. Fully loaded with nearly every option available including Sports Package, Cold Weather Package and navigation. $69,705 original window sticker price, please see pictures of window sticker for details on all included options. Car is finished in a Titanium Gray Metallic exterior over Gray Dakota Leather interior with Anthracite Maple Wood trim throughout. Excellent condition with all services up to date. Two brand new tires. Includes zero deductible, bumper-to-bumper extended warranty that is good through 3/22/15 or 85,000 miles which is fully transferable to new private owner. This is a zero deductible warranty which means no money out of your pocket if repairs are needed. I originally paid $3,000 for the warranty which will provide new owner with worry-free ownership. Car has been meticulously maintained by me and the prior owner and has been in AZ/Phoenix its entire life. I have owned the car for three years and it has not given me one problem whatsoever over 20k miles of service. 2015 BMW i8 offers you a fast ride to the future for $135,700* [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013BMW's long-form teasing and rollout of its incredibly cool i8 has put us in a unique position to report from its world debut here in Frankfurt. Typically, an auto show debut marks just the start of the information dump about a new vehicle. The i8, however, is a car that we've already driven and reviewed, so perhaps the biggest news from the show floor is the official price of the thing, as well as getting to see it live and in person, of course.
Arriving in US showrooms in the spring of 2014, the i8 performance plug-in hybrid will carry a price tag of $135,700 (*not including $925 for destination and handling charges). That kind of cash puts the i8 near the very top of the BMW range (slotting just under the top-trim 7-Series models), and will buy a massive amount of new technology.
The four-seat i8 has the look of a true supercar, and its new-tech drivetrain will offer up the performance of a stirring sports car, at least. A TwinPower Turbo, three-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine will make 231 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque that's gets sent to the rear wheels, while a 96-kilowatt electric motor doles out 131 hp and 184 lb-ft of maximum torque to the fronts. Total system output of 362 hp and 420 lb-ft allows the i8 to sprint to 62 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds with all-wheels-driven handling, and it still returns an astonishing 94 miles per gallon US.

Next BMW X6 to be larger, more aggressive
Tue, 16 Apr 2013If the current BMW X6, introduced in 2008, is looking a bit too bland for your tastes, have no fear as the next-generation model is reportedly going to be larger and more aggressive than its predecessor.
Autocar is reporting that an insider has revealed the all-new second-generation X6 will make its world debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show, going on sale just after summer. More aggressive styling will help BMW distinguish its sportier X6 from BMW's more practical models, such as the X3 and X5, said the source.
The next X6 will again share platforms with the X5, but it will be stretched slightly to provide second-row passengers with more legroom. Powerplants will also likely mirror those of its mainstream cousin, including a range of turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines and a range-topping M model (the 2013 BMW X6 M is show above).
