This car has very low miles for the year. It currently has a little over 102k on it but the mileage will slowly go up as it is my daily driver until sold. I wouldn't hesitate to get in this car and take a road trip. Gas mileage on the highway is amazing, I get around 27 mpg on the highway and around town is around 18 mpg. The car has some minor issues but no mechanical issues that I know of. The rear passenger window recently stopped working, I can hear the motor kick on but it doesn't move. Not sure what is the issue. The rear sunshade is in the up position and doesn't go down, not sure of this issue either. The pixels in the gauge cluster info center are starting to go out, there are some spots missing but I haven't had trouble reading it and same info can be found though the stereo, this is very common on these cars. The clear coat is peeling in several places, mostly the roof and trunk. It's peeling very lightly on the front fenders. These are the only issues that I know of.
The car runs and drives amazing. The motor is smooth and has amazing power whether cruising at 70 or 120. I'm only selling because I miss having a roadster and am going to buy another Miata as a run around. Stereo works great and sounds amazing, car has the premium sound system with cassette and cd changer. A/C and heater work great, I normally just set it to auto and let it control the temp for me. The tires are all continental extreme contact with about 60% tread left. Car handles amazing and rides extremely smooth.

BMW preparing two concepts for Villa d'Este
Thu, 20 Mar 2014Every spring, the finest automobiles ever to grace tarmac gather on the shores of Lake Como for the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. It's a chance for the most beautiful classics to compete for awards and for automakers and design studios to show off their concept cars under the soft light of the Italian sun. But while most of the vehicles old and new that show up for the concours are ones we've seen before, BMW takes things a step further.
As patron of the concorso d'eleganza for the past ten years, BMW regularly cooks up something new for the glamorous extravaganza. Last year it teamed up with Pininfarina for the Gran Lusso Coupé and revealed it alongside the Concept 90 motorcycle. The year before that came the BMW Zagato Coupe, preceded by the 328 Hommage and the M1 Hommage (pictured above) before it.
The theme for this year's event is the Roaring Twenties. BMW may not have been known back then on the same level as Bugatti or Duesenberg, but Rolls-Royce sure was.
BMW i8 Concours d'Elegance Edition is so cool it's Frozen
Fri, 15 Aug 2014The new, one-of-a-kind BMW i8 Concours d'Elegance Edition made a ritzy debut last night at BMW's private villa, giving the media its first chance to look at the ultra-exclusive hybrid.
As we said in our previous post, the most notable feature of the Concours d'Elegance i8 is its matte grey paint, known as Frozen Grey Metallic in BMW parlance. This isn't the first time we've seen this shade on an exclusive BMW, as it was last used for the Frozen Grey M3 from 2010.
Contrasting quite nicely with the i8's flat paint are its blue and white accents, and its Dalbergia Brown leather upholstery. Blue contrast stitching complements the interior aesthetic, as do the embossed BMW roundels in the headrests.
Are you a BMW M4 GTS track car in disguise?
Wed, 10 Sep 2014BMW is always happy to extract a little bit more gumption out of its M cars, just look at the latest 30th anniversary M5 or even the earlier CSL variants of the M3 for proof. Now, It looks like we might be getting the first glimpse of an even hotter M4, and it's wearing very interesting livery.
Our spies recently shot this M4 that could preview a future GTS version. It's all done up in MotoGP decals, but that might just be a ruse. This car sports a camouflaged lower air dam and rear wing, but those parts don't appear to be from an actual series safety car. The chin spoiler seems larger, and the rear wing is completely different. You can also spot an obvious Recaro logo on the driver's seat in one of the photos. Plus, the BMW emblem is removed at the back.
The disguised changes and odd choice of decals make this prototype incredibly weird. A BMW exec said at the beginning of the year that there were "no plans whatsoever to make a lighter, harder version just yet," of the M3 or M4, despite earlier rumors to the contrary.
