1975 BMW 2002. Completely restored! Here is a list of new parts that are on the car:

Interior
-New carpet
-New headliner
-New seat covers
-New Door Panels
-New Dash
-New Radio
-New Coco mats

As far as the interior goes the car is pretty much perfect. Everything is either new or original parts that still looked good. This car was originally a tan interior car so it has never changed colors. Instrument panel is rebuilt and every gauge works as it should. This a 4 Speed console car and an air car. All components and pieces are there in working order. This interior is flawless.

Exterior
-New Paint
-New rubber all around
-New chrome, upper and lower
-New sunroof components
-New light lenses all around
-New wheels and tires

The paint is a beautiful new jade green. The paint looks great and trust me it wasn't a cheap job. The body on this car was very straight when I had it painted so you won't have to worry about hidden body work or issues. From the trim to the bumpers the chrome looks fabulous and most of it is new. All the lenses look great and the lights all work. All rubber around windows, windshield, trunk, and hood are all new. This car looks magnificent from any distance. Everything is either new or looks new.

Mechanical
-New full exhaust
-New tie rods
-New ball joints
-New carburator
-New choke
-New alternator
-New water pump
-New Brakes
-All new A/C components

This car runs and drives exceptionally well. It handles flawlessly with all new front end pieces. It also stops great with new brakes. The engine was rebuilt approximately 20,000 miles ago. The 4-Speed manual transmission shifts great and is smooth through all gears. This car is a blast to drive and it gets great gas mileage so you'll be able to drive it even more. This car is nice enough to be a show car, but it was built to be driven and enjoyed.

This car is as nice and new as one can be. It is completely restored and every part of this car has been rebuilt or made new. This is the nicest BMW 2002 I have ever seen and I would challenge you to find a nicer one. If you have any questions feel free to ask or call me, Andy at (405)650-2639

Thanks for looking!

Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo torquing its way toward Frankfurt

Mon, 09 Sep 2013

Few tuners benefit from the kind of factory support that Alpina does, giving the pseudo-aftermarket firm nearly as much official status as BMW's own M division. And this is its latest product.
Set to debut, as expected, at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week is the new Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo, which you can consider, for all intents and purposes, the diesel M3 that BMW never built. While the outgoing D3 (which was Alpina's best-selling model) used a four-cylinder engine, Autocar reports that the new model packs a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo inline-six diesel to drive a respectable 345 horsepower but a mammoth 516 pound-feet of torque to either the rear wheels or all four through the optional availability of xDrive. (European buyers will also be able to choose between sedan and wagon bodystyles.)
The engine is the same as you'd find in the XD3 and D5 (Alpina's diesel performance versions of the X3 and 5 Series, respectively), but in the lighter 3 Series form can propel the D3 Bi-Turbo up to 62 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds and on to an Autobahn-crunching top speed of 173 mph. And as per Alpina tradition, visual cues are minimal, with a subtly optimized aero kit and 19- or available 20-inch alloy wheels. Unfortunately, the 7 Series-based B7 is the only Alpina we get on this side of the Atlantic, but an oil-drenched performance enthusiast can dream.

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.

BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.
