I have a 1974 BMW 2002 for sale. It will turn over but I have never got it started. I do not have the time now to troubleshoot it and I need the vehicle off my property by June 1st. I got this vehicle a couple years ago in hope to make it a beater drift car. But I never got the time to work on it. I have learned through out these couple years that this car is worth some good money as it was pretty rare in production. Now I have this car on ebay for sale. You can take the whole vehicle or I am willing to part out. The bumpers are all in good condition. The motor has turned over but has not started. It has 91,830 miles on it. Fenders are all in fair shape. A little rust on the right side. Restored cars like this are selling on hemmings for over $35,000. This is a BC car where it isn't exposed to salt and BC cars aren't prone to rusting. Refer to my pictures for full condition. The car is located in Kelowna, BC which is 2 hours away from the United States so if you are in the united states I could possibly find a cheaper way to ship it. You will just have to message me. Bunny couldn't out hop a BMW M3 on-track
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Driving a car is a dangerous hobby, and not just because of other drivers or poor roads. Sometimes, it seems like even the wildlife is out to get you, as evidenced here, here, here, here and here. Now, we can add one more unfortunate car-versus-animal encounter to the tally.
Perhaps believing that this bright orange BMW M3 GTS was a very fast, very loud carrot, an unfortunate bunny leaped into its windshield in a brutal accident at a Polish racetrack. Considering the M3's speed at the time, 89 miles per hour, the passengers are lucky to be okay. Obviously, Bugs didn't make it.
The BMW isn't in such great shape, though. The windshield is in a bit of a state, with safety glass sprayed all over the passenger side of the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any sheetmetal damage, at least from what we can tell from the video. Although there isn't any blood, the hit is really hard. The initial point of impact is at 0:57. Although BMW uses a twin-turbo straight-six and the Lexus uses a free-breathing V8, the two are pretty closely matched on paper: a luxury coupe with over 400 horsepower channeled to the rear wheels.
The BMW has been doing these cars for longer, and the M4 boasts a higher power-to-weight ratio. But then the RC F has more power - and without forced induction to break up the rev range. So which is the better luxury muscle coupe? Watch the latest episode of Motor Trend Head 2 Head to find out.
2015 BMW M3 and M4 priced at $62,000 and $64,200
Wed, 15 Jan 2014When the BMW M3 and M4 debuted on Monday at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, it was to much fanfare and excitement. At that time, though, we were missing a big piece of the M3/M4 puzzle - the price.
According to a report from our roundel-obsessed friends at Bimmerfest, the four-door M3 will star at $62,000, while the M4 Coupe is priced at $64,200. Those prices do not include a $925 destination charge. That's a pretty significant jump over the $56,275 starting price of the old M3 Sedan and $59,275 starting price of the last M3 Coupe, although we'd argue that these cars should easily outpace their V8 counterparts in terms of overall performance. In other news, a six-speed manual will come standard, while the seven-speed M DCT will be an optional extra.
Bimmerfest also came up with a timeline for the M3 and M4's arrival. We should expect the official announcement of pricing, along with the full order guides, released near the end of this month or in early February. Production will kick off in March, while customers will be able to begin placing orders in late April. We'll get our first crack at both cars in June, with deliveries beginning later that month.
