Terms of Sale
PAYMENT METHODS:
Cash and direct wire transfers are the only acceptable form of payment unless otherwise specified by an authorized representative. Please contact us for details of finance and lease programs available and to apply. Please have all funds available for payment in full within a 7 day period and/or have financing arranged . If another form of payment is accepted by an authorized representative, the vehicle will only be released for delivery and/or shipping upon proof of valid and cleared funds in Naples Motorsports account.
DEPOSITS:
All vehicles remain available for sale until full payment or agreed upon deposit is received by Naples Motorsports Inc. When a deposit is received , the vehicle is taken off the market and other buyers may be lost. All deposits are only refundable at the sellers discretion. Please do not place a deposit on any vehicle unless you intend to purchase the car . Deposits are generally only accepted if the seller deems it appropriate for the buyer to have additional time to arrange for funds availability, financing, inspection etc. We do not accept deposits to hold a car so the buyer can "think about it".
REMAINING BALANCES DUE:
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due including all applicable taxes and fees within 7 days of the purchase date . This includes the completion of any finance or lease contracts necessary for Naples Motorsports Inc. to be funded in full for the vehicle purchase unless agreed upon by an authorized representative. All financial transactions are to be complete and Naples Motorsports fully funded before delivery and/or transportation of vehicle.
ADDITIONAL TAXES AND FEES:
We do charge a $599.50 documentation fee on each retail sale which includes a temporary tag when applicable, motor vehicle documents and transfers and miscellaneous expenses including clerical fees, notary fees and Federal Express and US mail charges. This fee will not be discounted or waived under any circumstance. Buyers are responsible for all state, county and local taxes and fees as well as any registration and title fees applicable in and required by the state in which the buyer will register and title the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for any expenses , tax and fees should they export the car outside of the US.
SHIPPING:
Naples Motorsports Inc. will be happy to assist buyer with transportation arrangements within the US borders when necessary to take advantage of our volume discounts. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and are generally paid COD when the car arrives directly to the transporter. Naples Motorsports Inc. assumes no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our premises . Naples Motorsports Inc. can not be held responsible for any delays in shipping as it is beyond our control. We will do our best in estimating shipping dates and times to make the delivery as timely and smooth as possible. Naples Motorsports Inc. will NOT handle any arrangements for export outside the US . It is the purchasers sole responsibility to handle all related details and transport of any vehicle to be exported. Naples Motorsports, Inc. in no way represents or implies as to any vehicles legal ability to be exported outside of the US. Should you decide to come to Naples for delivery, we would be happy to help with your transportation arrangements and also arrange to pick you up at Ft Myers International Airport or Naples Municipal Airport. BMW and Toyota inked a partnership some time ago to develop green technology, and while we were excited by the idea of a reborn Supra with BMW's carbon fiber reinforced plastic slashing the curb weight or an ultra-efficient, hybridized 1 Series, the joint efforts have been rather limited. That's set to change, though, according to a report from Australia. Motoring reports that the partners have come to terms on a sports car. And not just any sports car, but a lightweight, hybridized model, with a six-figure price tag. Lending a bit of street cred to that idea is the site's claim that Toyota is currently carrying out durability testing on the BMW i8. According to the site, the new model will slot into the spot left by the Lexus LFA, although based on the language used, it's unclear if this is the Tokyo-bound vehicle we mentioned several months ago. Details on this potential car are limited, although Motoring claims it will use a Toyota hybrid system mated up to a BMW gas engine - likely the 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 found in the M5 and M6. That sounds pretty amazing to us, but we'd still advise taking this with a grain of salt. What would you like to see out of a joint-venture supercar from Toyota and BMW? Over the last few years, it feels like BMW has looked at its lineup and decided to offer a vehicle in every possible segment that it can find, no matter how small. The company is finally showing some restraint, though, at least when it comes to the high performance M division. For example, don't expect to see an M4 Gran Coupe at your local BMW dealer in the future. M GmbH sales chief Jörg Bartels told Cars Guide in Australia, "It was definitely considered, but there is no plan to build an M4 Gran Coupe." The sport sedan just wouldn't make financial sense, he said. BMW already builds the M3 and M4 at separate factories, adding a third for such a niche model would be too much. Plus, the M3 already fills out the segment. If you wanted an M model with a bit more storage space in the back, Bartels dashed those dreams, as well. He said that there isn't an M3 Gran Turismo hatchback in the pipeline, either.
While we don't get the BMW 1 Series at all in the US anymore, European buyers are getting a refresh of the luxury compact hatchback for the new year. Unlike the German brand's recent work on the 6 Series, the work is actually noticeable and improves things nicely. Up front, BMW keeps the changes subtle. The lower airdam is tweaked with larger air intakes and less chrome than before. The redesign and better sealing around the reshaped, narrower headlights also help optimize airflow and – in our eyes – improve aesthetics. LED running lights are standard now, and full LED units are optional. The more striking changes come at the back, where the 1 Series now wears the Bavarian brand's latest L-shaped taillights. The lights wrap around the sides and cut into the hatch to create a much more visually interesting look. The lower apron gets some small changes as well, and it all works together to create a more cohesive look. The BMW hatchback also gets some engine tweaks to go with its updated style. A new 2.0-liter four-cylinder is offered in 150-, 190- and 224-horsepower tunes. For those who want the best fuel economy, the 116d EfficientDynamics Plus makes 116 hp from a 1.5-liter turbo diesel and features active air flaps and redesigned kidney grille bars for better aero. The top-spec M135i with its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six gets a six-hp boost to 326 hp, too. Updates to the eight-speed automatic give it longer gearing and predictive shifting based on the vehicle's navigation system data.
