2001 Audi Tt Base Convertible 2-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
Needham Heights, Massachusetts, United States
I am selling a beautiful 2 door, 2 seat, Front Wheel Drive convertible. Audi calls its colors Nimbus Gray Pearl on Amber Red Baseball Optic Leather with a Black Cloth Top. It is a New England area, accident free car, with 5 listed previous owners (per Car Fax, with the first being a corporate lease) but the last 3 owners within same New Hampshire family. It has been very well maintained and garaged most of its years. Last few years only driven on weekends and stored during winters. Tires have about 10K - 12K miles left in them. Front brakes recently done, along with an A/C charge. Everything works great, no check engine lights, no shake or rattles nor any brake pulsation. It is a blast to drive with good power through a smooth shifting 5 Speed Manual. Engine is strong with quiet turbo. Clutch feels fine and the top works perfectly with no signs of wear, leaks or wind noise. Also have a clean car fax report listing over 20 service records, buy back guarantee and a price adjustment of $1,380 over it's current KBB Retail Price of $10,949. Bringing an estimated Retail Value of over $12,329.00 This is a great daily or weekend toy. Good Luck! |

A hybrid and electric Corvette, plus we drive the Ioniq 5 | Autoblog Podcast #728
Fri, May 6 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. Zac drove the electric 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Greg drove the fire-breathing 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo. The two dive deep into the relatively heavy news week by starting off with a discussion about the upcoming hybrid Corvette before chatting about what the electric Corvette might be like. They have a chat about the possibility of Porsche and Audi officially joining the Formula 1 field. Then, Greg and Zac get into some quick-hitting news to round out the segment by dissecting the updated Kia Soul (now without a turbo), the 30th Anniversary Edition Land Rover Defender and the new CEO at Aston Martin. Following the news and drive reviews, they rope in Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder to give them a quick download of what went down at the first drive for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Finally, they reach into the mailbag and answer some questions from someone who is less than pleased about infotainment systems in some new cars. And lastly, the gang hears back from someone they helped out in a prior Spend My Money segment on the podcast. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Audi welcomes Porsche back to Le Mans like any sibling would
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Ah, sibling rivalry. It really is a beautiful thing. It's even more beautiful when said siblings are automakers with very, very well-known racing histories. That's how you get videos like this, which is Audi's way of welcoming Porsche back to the top flight of Le Mans racing.
Yes, Audi has taken its R18 E-Tron Quattro back onto public roads, wowing schoolboys and scaring farmers (who appear to be riding classic Porsche tractors), as it travels from Ingolstadt to Zuffenhausen, just to taunt its corporate frenemy.
Take a look below for a video to see just what that teasing looks like.
Audi S3 with manual transmission still on table for US
Fri, 26 Sep 2014The fine folks at Fourtitude recently sat down with Audi of America President Scott Keogh, and among other things, learned that the potent little S3 sedan could be offered with a manual transmission in the United States someday. That sort of sounds like the usual company line to us, but Keogh reportedly said the company is "looking very closely" at adding the manual to the S3, which currently is only available with a dual-clutch automatic.
Fourtitude also brought up the possibility of a hotter RS3 - a vehicle we've seen testing before, as a hatchback. We don't doubt that this more potent compact is already a done deal, but Keogh reportedly mentioned that the sedan will get this treatment. An RS3 for the US? Sign us up, for sure.
Head over to the Audi enthusiast site to read more from their talk with the company's US boss.
