The car has multiple small scratches here and there. It was in an accident in 2010 and rebuilt / restored at that time. There are defects and imperfections in the restoration. I believe the Front Left Fender was replaced and both doors. On the inside the passenger window does not roll down. The Glove box handle is off but located in the glove box. The Passenger Door inside handle and window switch are missing. Kenwood radio with remote works great!. Its wired for a Woofer in the hatchback but no woofer exists. Climate Control the left climate control knob is broken/missing The AC does not work consistently. When I picked up the car at Auction it worked sporadically but now less so. It runs and drives well. I have put about 100 miles on the car personally and it feels safe and is a lot of fun. It has a current Inspection as of May 2013. Sold AS IS however the car does come equipped with Awesomeness, makes you look cool and does have a Chick Magnet. Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.
But first, let's cover the PCotY segment. Audi bringing TT Clubsport Turbo concept to Worthersee
Fri, May 8 2015Is the world ready for an Audi TT with 600 horsepower? Well it had better be, because that's exactly what Ingolstadt has in store for this year's GTI-Treffen at Worthersee, Austria. Billed as a "technology concept," this TT show car packs a 2.5-liter inline-five with two electric turbochargers. Audi is developing electric turbos for its diesel engines, but has found a performance application here in a gasoline engine. The result is a whopping 600 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, driving all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Weighing in at 3,078 pounds and with those electric turbos spooling up quick, it's said to reach 62 in 3.6 seconds en route to a top speed of over 192 miles per hour. In a TT. The turbos are powered by a 48-volt electrical system, juiced by a compact lithium-ion battery in the trunk that can store regenerated power. It's also got a coilover suspension and electric jack to get over obstacles like curbs and speed bumps. The whole thing rides on 20-inch alloys with a two-tone finish, with carbon-ceramic discs to keep it all in check, and as you can see, a rather aggressive-looking widebody aero kit. All of which makes for a rather stunning concept, even if its encroachment on the R8 means it will likely never see production. Audi Super Bowl ad will star creepy Doberhuahua dog
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Poor little doberhuahua, so misunderstood. In fact it's so misunderstood that we don't even know what it is. Not that something like that would stop Canadian songstress and animal rights advocate Sarah McLachlan from plucking at our heartstrings, though, in the teaser video below.
The apparent half-breed mutt offspring of a doberman and a chihuahua is set to star in Audi's upcoming Super Bowl commercial and appears to be what was terrifying the dog-show announcers so thoroughly in the last teaser video. Audi previously announced it was focusing its Big Game ad buy on the new A3, but we'll have to wait another week to find out just how it will manage to equate its new compact luxury sedan ad hatchback to a small dog with a big bite.
