Awesome 2002 Audi S8 Quattro. Clean Carfax. Brilliant Black on Ecru Leather Interior. This car is Running Strong, it's fast, and it's fun to drive. This is your best choice if you're looking for a fast, smooth, and classy car. The First Generation Audi S8 is quite rare. It has a furious 4.2L 360HP V8 Engine, combined with Audi's Quattro All Wheel Drive, this car has great pickup! Features and options include Tiptronic Automatic Transmission, Quattro - All Wheel Drive, Factory Navigation, Power Sunroof, Power Sport Leather Seats w/ Memory, Heated Front & Rear Seats, Rear Seat Lumbar Adjustments, Xenon Headlights, Power Adj. Steering Wheel, Wood Trim w/ Alcantara Accents, Bose Sound System w/ CD Player, Dual-Zone Climate Control (Cold A/C), Cruise Control, Int. Wipers, Keyless Entry in Alarm, 18" Alloy Wheels, and Much Much More! Includes 2 Master Keys, 1 Valet Key, Books, and Floor Mats.

Being an honest seller. This car does need some work, mostly cosmetic. It needs some paint, upholstery, and other little things. The transmission shifts perfectly fine, but it occasionally goes into limp mode when in Drive (D), however this does NOT occur when in Sport Mode (S) or Manual Mode. Please contact for full disclosure of what the car needs. Other than that, It runs and drives great! A/C is cold. $2,000 in engine service done in January including Timing Belt, Tensioners, & Water Pump. Transmission Service done in March with new solenoids. Tires are good. Never been in an accident. I bought this car with intentions to restore it to it's original glory and have only put about 1,200 miles on it. But now heres your chance to own and a unique car for a great price. It's a rare car to find (I purchased it because of it's rarity) with a powerful engine that still outruns other cars on the road, its fun to drive, plus the comfort and features. Thats what makes it awesome.

2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona pre-race notes

Sat, Jan 24 2015

Reigning Indy 500 champion Ryan Hunter-Reay summarized our feelings on every year's Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona when he said, "The 24 kind of kicks off the year and has become part of my calendar... It definitely helps you get in race shape after a long layoff." Speaking of IndyCar drivers, 14 of the 33 pilots who started last year's Indy 500 are driving in Daytona this year, and an IndyCar driver has been part of the overall winning team for the last four years. The race starts at 2:10 pm Eastern Standard Time, here's where you can watch it: 2-4 pm: Fox Sports Network 4-8 pm: Fox Sports 2 8-10 pm: Fox Sports 1 10 pm-7 am: IMSA TV on IMSA.com - commentary available here for the full 24 hours 7 am – 2:30 pm (Sunday) – Fox Sports 1 Timing and Scoring Andy Blackmore's typically awesome Spotter's Guide Video primer on the four classes: Prototype (16 in this year's race), Prototype Challenge (8), GT Le Mans (10), GTD (19), and how to identify them. Daytona International Speedway: tri-oval with an infield road course, 3.56 miles long, 12 turns Entry list Qualifying results We've tagged along with Audi for the 53rd running of the race, which marks the first event in the Tudor United SportsCar Car Championship. After a difficult first year of teething – IMSA president and COO Scott Atherton said, "Everybody on our staff and everybody that raced with us last year would tell you it was the most challenging season on record" – some things are smoother this year, some things aren't, starting with the field: 53 cars are expected to line up, 14 fewer than last year, the smallest field since 48 cars lined up in 2011. The Prototype class shed three teams from 2014 and the GT Daytona class lost ten, so there's a 19-car field in that class (nine Porsche 911 GT Americas, three Ferrari 458 Italias, two each of the Aston-Martin V12 Vantage, Dodge Viper SRT, Audi R8 LMS, and one BMW Z4). Truth be told, last year's number was probably inflated by having the previous American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Championship combined to make the USCC; the field in 2013 was 57 cars, in 2012 it was 59 cars. Another factor in this year's race is that the GT class adopts FIA GT3 rules from next year. Brad Kettler, manager of Audi's customer motorsport program, said they'd sold five R8 LMS cars last year but zero for this year – there are undoubtedly teams waiting on the sidelines for the rules unification before spending the money.

MT's Jessi Lang recounts her harrowing Autobahn R8 crash

Wed, Aug 6 2014

Automotive enthusiasts know the name, face, voice and stories of Jessi Lang well. And if they don't, they should. The longtime Motor Trend video presenter and host of The J-Turn is a regular fixture on the automotive scene, and one of our favorite to watch. But a year ago, Jessi vanished from the scene. And we're sad to say she hasn't been kicking back enjoying umbrella drinks on the beach all this while. A year ago Lang went on a pilgrimage to Germany, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 on the Nurburgring and an Audi R8 modified by Abt on the Autobahn when the unthinkable happened. A car swerved out of its lane and into Jessi's path. A catastrophic collision ensued, and Lang was seriously injured. Jessi's been recovering from the multiple fractures and life-threatening lacerations ever since, and in her first appearance back on the net, has returned to tell her harrowing but courageous story. We wish her all the best on her long road to recovery, hope to see her back to her old self again soon, and invite you to watch the heart-rending story here.

Watch Audi's Emmy promo, starring Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Julia Louis-Dreyfus

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

A lot of online videos try way too hard to be funny, but the promo from Audi for the 66th Emmy Awards on Monday, August 25, shows that if you put faith in a proven group of hilarious actors, you can strike comedy gold. The short film reunites Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul as the proprietors of a pawnshop of rare and obscure items called Barely Legal Pawn. They have their own fictional reality show (which really needs to exist) that rips off Pawn Stars, and this segment has comedy veteran Julia Louis-Dreyfus coming in to sell her Emmy award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy as Elaine on Seinfeld. Louis-Dreyfus also pays the title sponsor's bills by subtly incorporating a 2015 S3 into the otherwise car-free gag.
It would ruin the video to spoil any of the jokes; you just need to watch it. Cranston actually bridges the gap here because way before he became famous as Walter White on Breaking Bad, he had a recurring guest role on Seinfeld as dentist Dr. Tim Whatley. If you're a fan of either show or just need a hearty chuckle for today, this one is definitely for you because all three former Emmy winners put in fantastic performances.
