2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet Prestige, Quattro, S-Tronic, 333 HP V6 Supercharged Engine, 25000 Miles Seven Speed Automated Manual (DSG) Transmission, Audi Drive Select with SPORT Differential, Adaptive Suspension and Dynamic Steering Bang & Olufsen Sound, Advanced Key, Keyless Start/Stop/Entry, Navigation Plus 3G MMI, Backup Camera Magma Red/Black Leather Seats, Memory/Heated Mirrors and Seats, 19-inch Five-Tri-Spoke Wheel Package This has been my daily driver for the summer. I have put 750 miles on it so far WITHOUT ANY ISSUES! Has NEW YORK CLEAN TITLE with REBUILT Endorsement. NOT a salvage title - registers like any other car. Rebuilt Title due to a fire to a neighboring vehicle. No need for special inspection - already PASSED the NYS Salvage Examination. Runs and drives great. No lights on the dash or any other issues. You can title/register this car in any state like any other vehicle! This car sold new for approx. $69,000 in 2011. Similar used cars are currently listed in the $40,000 range. I am asking $28,800 for it due to the title history. I purchased the car from Allstate Insurance Co. I can provide the buyer with the pictures before any repairs were made (original condition of car). The front and rear bumpers were repaired and repainted. The Passenger side headlight and outer taillights were replaced. PLEASE - do not email to BS me about the title - I've discounted the price GREATLY solely because of that. However, the following cosmetic imperfections were observed: Entire car exterior needs to be detailed to remove normal (used car) imperfections - not your regular car wash silicone shine, but a proper multiple step detailing/waxing. The passenger side mirror mounting bracket has damage. The rear right side are of the Cloth Convertible Top has couple heat affected spots. These spots are about 3 inches in diameter, but do not affect the operation and also do not leak - they are purely cosmetic. The driver side door carbon fiber trim/insert is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced. I took it off and I am keeping it in the trunk until I figure out how to glue it. In addition to the car, title, manuals and key, the buyer will receive a binder documenting the condition of the car when purchased and the work done to date. 300-HP 2013 Audi S3 Sportback unwrapped
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Not content to let Volkswagen have all of the fun with its GTI and Golf R, Audi is rebooting its five-door S3 Sportback with rather monstrous power. Headed for an official unveil at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the new S3 rolls out with a 300-horsepower, 280-pound-feet of torque turbocharged 2.0-liter TFSI engine under the hood. The four-cylinder powerplant is strong enough to shove the Sportback to 62 miles per hour in just 5.0 seconds when connected to the optional S-Tronic gearbox, or 5.5 seconds with the traditional manual transmission. Top speed is said to be an electronically governed 155 mph. Almost as impressive as those performance figures are the fuel economy ratings: the S- S3 is said to average 34 miles per gallon.
All S3 Sportback models offer Quattro all-wheel drive, ride on a sport-tuned suspension tuned to a lower ride height (about one inch) versus the standard Audi A3. 18-inch wheels with 225-section tires are standard equipment, and 13.39-inch front brakes should offer serious stopping ability.
Audi has done a lot of work shedding pounds from this latest MQB-architecture S3, as well. The car has a curb weight of roughly 3,186 pounds, or some 154 pounds less than the outgoing model. 11 of those pounds were cut via weight-saving measures in the 2.0-liter engine.
2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack squares off against Audi R8 V10 Plus
Wed, 22 May 2013The team over at Motor Trend has pitted the new Audi R8 V10 Plus against the Nissan GT-R. While both of the bright red all-wheel-drive supercars are comparably matched in power output, the similarities end there. Audi offers a mid-engine aluminum coupe with a naturally aspirated V10 that spits out 550 horsepower. Nissan shows up with a more traditional coupe equipped with a 545-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 at the front of the car.
The Head-to-Head video takes both cars to the Streets of Willow Springs in the California desert for some track work with professional racing driver Randy Pobst behind the wheel. After a day at the track, the pair head to the local mountains for some spirited real-world driving. One dominates on the circuit, while the other earns back its credibility in the canyons.
