This is a beautiful 2009 Audi S5, in Brilliant Red with black leather interior and lunar silver Alcantara inserts. The car has the 354 HP V8 that is no longer available on the new version, and it sounds terrific. The car is in fantastic condition, and really doesn't look much different than the day I drove it off the lot. It still gets looks and compliments everywhere I go. Trust me when I say that the pictures do not do it justice. It is a one owner car that has always been babied, never been smoked in and has always been garaged. The car has a 6-speed manual transmission, Quattro all wheel drive, the Bang & Olufsen sound system, MMI, satellite radio, heated seats, bi-xenon headlights, sunroof, Bluetooth, etc. The vast majority of the car's ~36,000 miles have been highway miles. More pictures and the clean CARFAX are available upon request. I have the title in hand.
I have a big stack of papers that includes all the service records and papers from the purchase of the car, including the window sticker and even the Audi S5 shoe insert Audi sent me while I was waiting nine months for the car to arrive! All scheduled maintenance has been performed at the dealer, and the car has Audi Care. This includes one more free dealer service transferable to the new owner (must be used before 12/31/13). New tires were put on the car around 1,000 miles ago, and the first set lasted for over 30,000 miles. I've also posted a picture of the "condition report" I received the last time the car was in for servicing. It shows that all the fluid levels, consumables (filters, belts, brake pads), suspension, transmission, engine, and basically anything other than the tires were in good condition when they looked at it. I'm happy to have the car inspected at a location of your choice at your expense.
There is only one "issue" of any kind with the car. There is an approximately quarter-sized star-shaped stone chip around 2 inches above the base of the windshield. I got this chip about two years ago and had it filled in, and it has not spread since then. It does not leak and does not affect field of vision in the car in any way. It does not show up in pictures, but I want to make sure I am accurately describing the condition of the car. The car does not currently have and has not had any mechanical problems of any kind in the past.
While I am a private seller, I did sell another car on eBay a few years back, and you can see I received positive feedback. Bid with confidence! Message me with any questions, and thanks for looking!

2016 Audi S6 Quick Spin [w/video]
Wed, Jul 8 2015Back in my salad days, when I was rocking a the greatest Civic Si of all time, the occasional pair of leather pants, and a yen for malt liquor and grass (both of which quickly put an end to the leather pants), a car like the 2016 Audi S6 would've made my head explode. "What's that?" I might have asked. "A roomy four-seat Audi with more than 400 horsepower and all-wheel drive, that looks like it was sculpted by Ralph McQuarrie? Pushing 30 mpg and under five seconds to 60 miles per hour? The hell you say." And that's even before Future Me showed Skinny Me an interior full of carbon fiber and aluminum, God's own quilted-leather sport buckets, and a 'radio' that would've made my Dreamcast look like an Atari 6400. (If you haven't picked up on the vibe yet, I was kind of a weird nerd in the late '90s.) Gentlemen, we live in the future; I just drove a mid-cycle-refresh Audi that proves it. Driving Notes The 4.0-liter, turbocharged V8 is tailor-made for smoothly pulling around anything less-well-endowed than the M5/E63/CTS-V set. Now up to 450 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque (versus the 420 hp and 406 lb-ft of last year's model), there's enough pull in the easily accessible powerband to satisfy all but lunatic drivers. It doesn't feel staggeringly fast, but that's only because 500 horsepower has become so commonplace in the new uber sedan game. It's quick enough. Remember when 250 hp was a crazy number? The car sounds like it has a V8, too. That may seem obvious, but in Generation Direct Injection things tend to get a bit clattery. You'll get some of that if you open the hood with the engine running (as I did in one of the Short Cuts above), but none where it counts: behind the wheel, windows up, stereo down, foot to the floor. That recipe delivers a hushed, baritone-sung song about understatement. Less subtle is the braking force when used at or near the top of its ability. After a moment of surprise and delight while decelerating in normal traffic, I went back-road hunting to test a few pseudo panic stops. Vented 15.7-inch front discs, with 14-inchers in the rear, provided a fast and steady haul-down from 70 miles per hour. Remember when wheels were 15 inches? I mean, you need those big brakes and potent engines to move and stop a car this hefty. With a base weight of 4,486 pounds – no doubt heavier still in my loaded, Dutchman-driven example – it still kind of blows my mind to see the 27-miles-per-gallon highway number.
Next-gen Audi A5 shows its heavily camouflaged face
Mon, Jun 15 2015The new Audi A4 is set to launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, so it shouldn't come as too big of a surprise that an updated A5 is on the way, as well. Our spies just caught the coupe testing for the first time while wearing heavy camouflage from nose to tail. Despite the concealment, some details are possible to make out, especially when comparing the two-door design to the previously spied A4. Audi is further differentiating the designs, and the A5's front end is significantly changed based on these photos. The headlights appear larger and more acutely angled than the narrower units on the sedan. Also, the lower bumper gets square intakes at each corner and the shape creates an additional opening in the center for the coupe. In profile, it's easy to notice the quicker sloping roof and smaller side windows. Only the rear end of the two models seem to share many significant cues. The new A5 reportedly rides on the same MLB Evo platform as the upcoming A4 to shed around 200 pounds. The two models might not launch at the same time, though, and the coupe could join the lineup somewhat later. S5 and RS5 variants are expected to join the range further down the line, too.
2013 Audi RS6 Avant hauls ass and then some
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Holy moly. Despite the fact that Audi first released details on its 2013 RS6 Avant back in December, we're still just as smitten with it now as we were a couple months ago. And why wouldn't we be? This stunning piece of forbidden fruit combines two of our favorite things: fast Audis and useful wagons.
The meat and potatoes behind the RS6 Avant is its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, tuned to crank out 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the all-wheel-drive wagon can scoot to 60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 155 mph. Opting for the Dynamic package ups that v-max to 174 mph, and selecting the Dynamic Plus pack increases that even further to 190 mph.
This RS6 Avant certainly looks the part of an extreme ass-hauler, fitted with the usual RS-spec gaping air intakes, 21-inch wheels, sport exhaust and carbon fiber ceramic brakes. Combine all that goodness with dynamic ride control, an adaptive air suspension and torque-vectoring Quattro all-wheel drive, and we have no doubt that this thing will scare off every other station wagon in the parking lot. (Well, except maybe that Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Woof.)
