For sale we have a 2004 Audi S4 Sport Convertible Quattro AWD. This audi has a clean carfax with no accidents and 2 owners. The car was just traded in at the Audi Dealer for the new R8. The car runs and drives amazing. It has been Audi Dealer maintained its entire time and it needs nothing but a new owner. The car features the powerful V8 4.2L engine. The motor starts right up with no issues and it sounds healthy. The automatic transmission shifts very smoothly thru out all the gears with no issues no delays and it has the option to pedal shift the gears or use the tip tronic mode. The car is convertible. The top has no rips no leaks and it goes up and down by a push off a button with no issues. The outside is clean for its age with few nicks and marks here and there. The interior is beautiful and in great shape loaded with power everything, heated seats, xenon headlights, cold a/c, warm heat, navigation and so on. We do charge a processing fee $300.00 for all title documents in order to cover charges we pay to the state as well as other fees incurred during the process. For Out of State (Non-CT Resident)that fee is $300 for all vehicles. These fees are non-negotiable. CT Residents are also required to pay 6.35% Sales Tax at our location at the time of sale. Non-Residents are not subject to the CT Sales Tax. 8) Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared. 9) Shipping & Delivery: All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility, we will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! All shipping arrangements are made via 3rd Party Liscensed Broker. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom or any delays in shipping for any reason. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 5-21 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure. 10) Finalizing your Purchase: We will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone to make arrangements to complete their transaction and leave a deposit. This deposit is needed to secure your purchase and must be done within 24 hours of the auctions close. We reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer before purchase is secured. We will use all available recourse to recover lost fees. Deposit will be in the amount of $500.00 by major credit card, cash in person, or bank certified funds (no refunds on deposit unless the car is found to be not as advertised). Failure to leave a deposit within the specified time frame will result in relisting of the vehicle and the bidder being charged Ebays final value fee and any fees associated with relisting the vehicle. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, bank certified funds to Seller. If Deposit is made but payment is not finalized in time allowed in these terms then the car may be relisted and your deposit will be forfeited to us unless other arrangements have been made with us. If Buyer changes mind at any point after deposit is made for any reason the deposit will be forfeit. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer is to fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and documented Seller. 11) All vehicles are sold as-is through. Please also note that a storage fee of $25 per day will be charged starting one week from conclusion of auction unless arrangements are made either in writing or via email that state otherwise. Jaguar I-Pace named World Car of the Year
Wed, Apr 17 2019NEW YORK — The Jaguar I-Pace has been named World Car of the Year, an award meant to honor the most significant new car introduction and conferred by an international jury of automotive journalist judges. The group announced the winners of additional awards at the New York Auto Show, with the Audi A7 named World Luxury Car of the Year, the McLaren 720S recognized as World Performance Car of the Year, and the Suzuki Jimny named World Urban Car. The I-Pace additionally took home two other awards: World Car Design of the Year and World Green Car of the Year. The WCOTY team of 86 jurors hail from 24 countries, and the organization is independent and not tied to any publication. This is the 15th year for the awards. For this year's World Car of the Year award the top three finalists were the I-Pace, the Audi E-Tron, and the Volvo S60/V60. Next-gen Audi A4 spotted
Tue, 18 Nov 2014With fresh entries from Lexus and Mercedes-Benz and a newer entry from BMW, Audi is in a rather precarious position with its A4 sedan, which has been on sale in its current form since 2008 (aside from its 2012 mid-cycle refresh). It's high time a new vehicle takes its place.
If Audi follows convention, the vehicle shown above will be known internally as the B9, and will ride atop the so-called MLB Evo, a new version of the modular platform underpinning the current A4 (and a whole heap of other Volkswagen Group products). That new bit of hardware should bless the next-gen A4 with a weight savings of anywhere from 175 to 220 pounds.
In terms of its looks, our spies point to a more evolutionary approach. Expect the A4 to borrow from the design being pioneered by the third-generation Audi TT, particularly around the grille, which should be more upright. The wheelbase should get a stretch while Audi will clip the overhangs of its midsizer, relative to the current sedan.
Audi highlights headlights on upcoming new R8
Mon, Feb 16 2015Audi is preparing to roll out an all-new R8... but it's not about to reveal the whole thing at once. So in the first in what promises to be a series of teasers, the German automaker is showing off the new supercar's headlights. (Or headlight, we should say, in the singular.) Not unlike the R8 LMX revealed in Paris, the second-generation Audi supercar will incorporate LED headlights with an optional laser high-beam module. Unfortunately since laser headlights are illegal in the United States, the option isn't likely to be offered here. That is, at least, until Audi succeeds in convincing federal regulators otherwise. Although the teaser image above, like the press release below, may shine the light (so to speak) principally on the headlights, the shrouded shape also gives us a (little) bit to chew on. Yes, it will be available in blue, but beyond that we can expect the new R8 to incorporate slightly more angular lines than the model it replaces, with a more pronounced trapezoidal grille up in an overall design similar to the new TT, only more so. But then we already knew that much and more from the undisguised image that leaked out a little over a week ago. The R8 uses LED headlights which can be supplemented by a laser high beam lighting module as an option. The new R8 will set new standards among high-performance sports cars – including in its lighting technology. As an option, the latest car development by Audi can be equipped with a laser spot as the high-beam headlight. The special appeal of laser lighting is that it uses high-intensity laser diodes, which generate a lot of light energy from a very small component. Compared to LED high-beam headlights, laser high-beams attain nearly twice the lighting range. Each headlight contains one laser module that operates with four high-intensity laser diodes. This module bundles the four intense blue-light laser beams. Then a phosphor converter transforms the blue light into pure white light. An identifying characteristic of the laser headlights is their blue light signature. Standard equipment in the new R8 includes an LED headlight system.
