It has the six speed tiptronic transmission with paddles behind the steering wheel to change gear manually. It has a Corsa cat back performance exhaust that sounds amazing, not too loud at idle but gives a real bark when gassed. The car has just over 45,000 miles with oil changes every 4,000 miles. The 4.2 liter V8 engine runs great and never had a single problem with it, starts first time every time. The roof is in perfect condition, the motorized operation works perfectly and feels like you are in a hard top when it’s up. Electric everything with dimming side and rear view mirrors, Bose audio system with amplifier. Electric memory seats, built in garage opener, cruise control, trip computer, dual climate control with heated seats, back up sensors. All four tires were replaced around 2,000 miles ago with pretty much full grip on all of them. Car is in overall excellent condition and ready for the summer. **the report says 3 accidents, the first one did not happen, have to find out why from Autocheck. The second one was for a dent in the door after someone decided to back into it in a parking lot. The third one was for a chipped rim, tire and wishbone after hitting a curb. |

Audi reveals new beefed-up A8 L Security
Tue, 14 Jan 2014
Audi claims is the lightest armored vehicle of its kind.
If there were ever a sedan that deserved the descriptor of "luxury," surely it's the Audi A8. Particularly in long-wheelbase form. But for many of Audi's wealthy customers around the world - namely those in developing markets - there can be no greater luxury than security. And for just those customers, Audi has announced the new A8 L Security.
Audi TT Offroad gets the green light
Mon, Jan 26 2015The TT family already has a coupe and convertible, with various engines available in each. But over the past year or so, Audi has been toying with the idea of expanding the range with another bodystyle. And now the latest report from Car confirms that Ingoldtadt has given the production go-ahead to the TT Offroad concept. Unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last year, the yellow TT Offroad concept envisioned a high-riding five-door crossover form with trademark TT styling cues. It was preceded by the blue three-door Allroad Shooting Brake concept at the Detroit show and followed by the sleek, red five-door TT Sportbrake concept at the Paris salon later the same year, but the impracticality of both those show cars is what we understand prompted Audi to go with the Offroad concept instead. So if it's a crossover, why not badge it with the letter Q, you ask? Because Fiat, that's why. The Italian automaker owns the names Q2 and Q4, which it has used on a variety of models (particularly Alfa Romeos and Maseratis) to connote their traction system. And though the Volkswagen Group has asked nicely, Sergio Marchionne has been as reluctant to give his biggest rivals a leg up as he has been to part with Alfa Romeo, despite their repeated advances. As a result, word has it that the production version of the TT Offroad concept will be sold as the TTQ, which kinda makes us giggle, but it would at least provide a nomenclature bridge between the TT and Q families within Audi's lineup. That is, unless Audi marketing chief Luca de Meo manages to convince his former boss to part with the Q2 and/or Q4 labels. Whatever it's called, the production crossover coupe would share similar dimensions to the Q3 when it arrives in 2017, but would potentially stand even further apart from its more utilitarian counterpart than the BMW X4 does from the X3 on which it is based.
2014 Audi R8 V8
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Where to even begin with the Audi R8 V8.
Let's start with the Ferrari 458 Italia, a car that doubles the base price of the Audi. It's much more fun to drive than it is to talk about; discussions among enthusiasts usually begin with someone saying, "It's amazing!" and end with everyone else agreeing. Opposite that is the vast, swirling nebula of cars that are often more fun to talk about than they are to drive.
In between, there are very few cars that are as fun to discuss as they are to drive, and this Audi is one. It's a car that challenges our notions about its actual competitive set and, even better, its philosophical competitive set, its driving experience, its price, its future, its present viewed from the future, and its verifiable and/or potential pedigree.
