2006 Audi S4 Quattro Fully Loaded Nav Xm Heated Seats 6 Disc on 2040-cars
Buffalo, New York, United States
I am selling my 2006 Audi S4 which only has 83,600 miles. The car is a lot of fun to drive no matter the weather with the AWD feature. This was the first winter the car has seen and even in Buffalo it wasn't a challenge. The car has all the features.
*Navigation *6 Disc CD *SD card slots *Heated Seats front and back *Steering wheel controls *Sunroof *Power everything *RS4 Wheels (Not Replicas) *83,000 miles I'm 6'3" and to be honest the car is not meant for tall people. I've owned this car since August of last year and have put almost 15k miles on the car with no issues. I drive at least 400 miles a week and need something a little more comfortable. The car is very quick and has all the power you would expect in a German Engineered car. The tires are in like new condition with over 75% tread and brakes are about 50%. I live in Buffalo but I am in Rochester at least once a week. If you would like to see the car in person or have any questions, please call/text me at (585)507-2606. Car does have a NYS Rebuilt title. I purchased it rebuilt and you would not notice a difference between this car and a clean title car. It has been fixed professionally and the car looks great. In the end, you drive the car not the title. Car is my daily driver so the mileage will be a little higher than it is currently. If you would like to see more pictures, please ask! Deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of auction end and the remainder of the payment must be made by 3 days of auction close. |

Audi claims America unfairly pushes electrics over diesels, backed by survey
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Audi, in case you haven't noticed, is quite committed to diesel technology. It champions oil burners in both the racing world and to consumers, offering American customers a total of five diesel-powered models, which is more than any brand in the US market save for its parent company, Volkswagen. In a bid to prove that diesels aren't some passing trend and are actually gaining momentum in the US, Audi commissioned Harris Interactive to conduct a poll of 1,600 American drivers, to see how they felt about diesel power. The resulting statistics are rather surprising.
57 percent of the 1,629 drivers surveyed think the government has unfairly favored hybrids and electrics over diesel power
65 percent of drivers support laws being passed to make diesel more accessible, while 66 percent support tax incentives for diesel-powered vehicles
Audi to lap Hockenheim in driverless RS7
Fri, 10 Oct 2014An automaker like Audi will always have a number of different research and development projects going at the same time, and some of them might take on very different approaches. At one end, you'll have its racing programs, and at what you'd assume would be the other, self-driving prototypes. But Ingolstadt is preparing to bridge that gap by running an autonomous prototype at racing speed around the famed Hockenheimring.
Set to take place on Sunday, October 19, during the DTM season finale at Hockenheim, the driverless RS7 will motor at speeds up to 150 miles per hour, right up "to its physical limits with millimeter precision."
Audi anticipates that "the world's sportiest piloted driving car" will run a lap time of just over two minutes, at which the RS7 would stand not only to be the fastest driverless car ever to lap the circuit, but also potentially the fastest four-door - if it can beat the 2:02.71 lap time set by a BMW M3 sedan in 2007.
Former Audi chief designer Wolfgang Egger leaves Italdesign
Sat, Dec 27 2014The latest word from the international community of automotive designers has it that Wolfgang Egger is leaving Italdesign, but just where the accomplished designer will land next and who will take his place remain big question marks. Egger is a designer who has bounced back and forth between Italy and Germany over the course of his career. He was born in Germany but studied in Milan. He began his career at Alfa Romeo in 1989 and was named its chief designer by 1993 before being head-hunted by the Volkswagen Group in 1998 to head up the design department at Seat. A few years later he went returned to Italy to run the Lancia design department, and was subsequently renamed to the same post at Alfa Romeo. In 2007 he went back to his native Germany to head up the Audi design office, over which he assumed complete responsibility by 2012, but left Audi in 2013 to run Italdesign. For those unfamiliar, Italdesign is the studio founded by Giorgetto Giugiaro (pictured at left next to Egger) back in 1968 but which, along with many other Italian design houses, fell on hard times in recent years. The Volkswagen Group swooped in to rescue the troubled studio in 2010, turning it into something of an in-house advanced design department to provide an alternative perspective on the direction in which the group and its various brands could take their respective designs moving forward. With Egger now leaving its helm, Italdesign and its German parent company will need to find his replacement, and we're sure they'll announce one in due course. The bigger question on our minds, however, is where Egger himself will head next. Given the path his career has taken to date, we wouldn't be surprised to see him land elsewhere in the Volkswagen Group or find a new role in the expanding Fiat Chrysler Automobiles empire. Then again, Egger could find it time to open an entirely new chapter. Watch this space.
