Selling a 2002 Audi S4.  B5 bodystyle (2002 was the last year of this bodystyle).  2.7 liter 6 cylinder twin turbo.  6 speed manual transmission.  123,325 original miles.

This vehicle sustained impact on the front right.  It will need, but not limited to, a hood, right headlight, grille, front bumper, right fender, radiator support, radiator and ac condensor.  Passenger side intercooler or intercooler hose needs replacement as well.  Radiator support on these cars are composite, and bolt on, so repairs are fairly easy.  Airbags did not deploy.  Body (other than damaged parts from accident) and interior are clean for it's age.  Paint is in overall good shape.  Car comes with 1 remote key.

This car was totaled out by an insurance company, and will come with a Pennsylvania rebuildable salvage title.  In PA, you would repair the car, bring it in for an enhanced inspection (about $200), and a rebuilt title is issued to you in about 2 weeks time.  You state may be different.

This would make a great rebuilder for someone that does bodywork, or have discounts in bodywork.  It would also be a great parts car as well, as these are becoming more rare.

I do have this car titled to a business, and I would have to charge NYS sales tax if vehicle is sold to a NY buyer (sales tax slip would be provided so you don't pay tax twice).  If you are not in NY, you would pay sales tax to your own state/DMV if you decide to rebuild/title the car.

Car is located in central NJ.  I can have the car towed to or transported to your location, at your expense.  I may be able to get better towing/transport rates if you are not picking up the car yourself.  Message me with city and zip code for quote.

As with all salvage vehicles, this car is sold as-is, with no warranty, expressed or implied.

Your chance to have a B5 S4 for a fraction of what they're going for.  Nogaro blue is the hottest color for these cars too!

If you have any question, please don't hesitate to ask.  If you ned better pictures of a certain part/area, message me.

Thanks for looking!!!

Audi following Tesla with 280-mile EV family car

Thu, Nov 27 2014

The press days are finished at the LA Auto Show, but things said there are still making news. While in California, Audi technical development chief Ulrich Hackenberg told reporters that his employer plans to release an electric car with a range of 280 miles "around 2017." Hackenberg wouldn't say what kind of car - or crossover, perhaps - it will be, but one report said it would be "a large car, fitting five large people with ample luggage space." Most observers expect it to be a sedan to take on the Tesla Model S. It's no secret that Audi respects Tesla, and there have been hints that The House of Quattro is ready to really flex its progress-through-technology muscles in Tesla's direction. Audi will be applying lessons learned in the development of the coming R8 E-tron to the future electric car, after it managed to double the range of the electric sports car thanks to new battery technology to 450 kilometers, or 281 miles. This puts another tentative all-electric Audi in the mix and another Tesla competitor, after rumors of a possible electric Q8 from February of this year. If an electric Q8 does happen, it's expected to be a challenger to the Tesla Model X. And that might not be all: Bloomberg reported in June that Audi had "devised blueprints for several high-performance electric saloons and sport-utility vehicles." New Audi Quattro concept coming to Frankfurt?

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

We first saw the Audi Quattro Concept at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and since then we've been tugged this way and that by a series of rumors as to whether the car will be built or not, and whether such a car will live at the accessible or the exalted end of the cost spectrum. A report in Germany's Auto Zeitung from June restarted the fires of gossip with a report that a production version of the concept will appear at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and put it firmly in the exalted sphere.
Now, just a month from the show, Auto Bild has a similar report, sketching out an upmarket car but on a different platform. Back when we drove it, the Quattro concept was built on a spaceframe based on the RS5 platform and got its go from a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine with 380 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque (the show car got 408 hp from a turbocharged five-cylinder). The June report from Auto Zeitung said this new reveal would be powered by a modified version of the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 from the RS7 that would put out something like 650 hp. Auto Bild, on the other hand, reports that the engine will be tuned to something like 600 hp and the new concept will ride on an "enhanced" version of the A6 platform.
Both reports agree that the car we'll see will preview Audi's new design language with "tauter, more angular lines." Lightweight and exotic materials will be used in efforts to reach a supposed target weight of 1,200 kilograms (2,640 pounds), down from a target of 2,900 pounds in earlier report. Auto Bild says that Audi still hasn't decided whether to make a production version, but if they are correct about the direction of the concept, any retail offering based on it isn't going to be cheap.

Which would you rather have, Audi's RS5 or Mercedes' C63 AMG 507?

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

If you're in the market for a German sports coupe with a naturally aspirated V8, run, don't walk, to your nearest dealer because they are going to be gone very soon. European fuel economy and emissions rules have conspired to force automakers into seeking forced-induction mills. Motor Trend personality Jonny Lieberman is hosting the retirement party in the latest Head 2 Head video, where he takes on the 2014 Audi RS5 and 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 to decide which is the ultimate Teutonic V8.
To make the decision harder, Lieberman challenges the duo on the first soaking wet roads that Southern California has seen in ages. It forces the coupes to confront some of the actual weather that the rest of the country encounters regularly and serves to even the playing field somewhat between the charismatic rear-drive Mercedes-Benz and the all-wheel drive Audi.
It really is the end of an era for these coupes. The next Audi RS4 is rumored to switch to a twin-turbo V6, and while Mercedes won't officially admit it, the next C-Class AMG will likely switch to a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. And we already know the next BMW M3/M4 will rely on a 425-horsepower, 3.0-liter inline-six. Let's enjoy these eight-cylinder German giants while we can, and scroll down to watch the video.
