Listed for sale is my 2008 Audi RS4 in rare Sprint Blue exterior and black leather interior with brushed aluminum trim. Mileage is 52,xxx.  Asking $42,500.  Located in westside/southbay of Los Angeles (near LAX).

Car was sold and has spent its entire life in California- the first owner leased from Circle Audi in Long Beach, 2nd owner bought it CPO with 30k miles and brought it up to Sacramento, and I bought it from him May 2012 with 39k miles.  The car has only been dealer serviced, so all service records are in the Audi system.  I also have the clean PPI results from when I bought it.  From the diligence I did during my purchase process, the car was carbon cleaned at 18k miles and had control arm bushings and front shocks replaced at 25k miles.   New front brake rotors at 30k (as part of CPO). No other major service.  In my ownership have followed the maintenance schedule, and just had regular service done 1k miles ago (Oct ’13).  Additionally, I hand wash/light detail every other week, and have it professionally detailed every few months.

The paint is in near mint condition but for a very light and small scratch on the right side of the trunk (see pic).  Light curb rash on 2 of the wheels.  Otherwise the car is in immaculate condition outside and inside.

Standard features and options:

4.2L V8 with 400+ hp at ~8000 rpm

Quattro permanent 4wd

6 speed manual

Premium package with iPod adapter in glove box

Audi follows suit with TDI stop-sale

Wed, Nov 4 2015

Yesterday, Porsche issued a stop-sale on its Cayenne Diesel, following the news that the Volkswagen Group's 3.0-liter diesel V6 is also fitted with cheating software. Now, according to Automotive News, Audi is issuing a similar stop-sale in the US, but in the case of that brand, it affects more than just one model. Audi's stop-sale covers diesel-powered versions of the 2013-2015 Q7, as well as the 2014-2016 A6, A7, A8, and Q5. All of these models can be had with the 3.0-liter TDI V6, which up until this week's news, was not included in Volkswagen's massive diesel scandal. No recall is currently planned, according to Automotive News. Additionally, Volkswagen has yet to issue a stop-sale on its Touareg TDI, which also uses the 3.0-liter V6. The Touareg TDI can still be found on Volkswagen's consumer site, as of this writing.

2015 Audi RS7 Dynamic Edition is a pretty car for a pretty penny

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Making its world debut at the New York Auto Show, and commanding a $40,250 premium over the base RS7, is Audi's new 2015 RS7 Dynamic Edition that arrives with an MSRP of $146,045 (including destination and delivery). The range-topping hatchback is designed to showcase Audi's exclusive program, which allows customers to choose choose from the automaker's long list of options and then take the customization one step further with bespoke paintwork, upholstery, bodywork and wheels.
The interior features Black Valcona leather seats with Crimson Red honeycomb stitching, and matching Crimson Red seat belts. The contrasting color is carried through to the stitching on the dashboard, center armrest, door panels, shift boot and center console. Carbon fiber inlays provide additional contrast. The exterior is offering in four colors (Ibis White, Suzuka Gray metallic, Daytona Gray pearl and Phantom Black pearl), with each arriving with performance-oriented DRC suspension (with three-stage adjustable dampers), 21-inch Gloss Black wheels, Tornado Red painted brake calipers and sport exhaust. A carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser and carbon fiber engine cover complete the package.
Like the standard RS7, the Dynamic Edition arrives with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 rated at 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. With an eight-speed automatic transmission, running through Audi's Quattro permanent all-wheel drive and a sport differential, the four-passenger vehicle will crack the 60 mph acceleration benchmark in a reported 3.7 seconds - and, thanks to cylinder-on-demand technology, it avoids a gas-guzzler tax. The RS7 Dynamic Edition arrives at dealerships in early summer.

2016 Audi A6

Thu, 06 Nov 2014

After dodging light traffic for more than 10 miles at speeds never exceeding 85 miles per hour, the left lane of the derestricted autobahn ahead of us finally opens wide. This is the opportunity we've been waiting for, and we bury the accelerator against its stop and hold it there. The transmission attached to the turbocharged four-cylinder of our 2016 Audi A6 drops a couple gears and begins an arduous battle against aerodynamic drag.
The sleek sedan cuts through the wind effortlessly up until about 125 mph, after which the speedometer needle slows noticeably as the outside world continues to blur. By 145 mph, there's no longer a discernible feeling of acceleration, yet the bright-orange speedometer needle continues its climb. Finally, the speedometer nearly reaches 160 before we are forced to firmly brake and return to saner speeds because of traffic looming ahead.
Automakers routinely host us in Europe and elsewhere to sample their wares in a much less restrictive driving environment. Which explains why we find ourselves standing in Dresden, Germany, a stunningly beautiful 800-year-old city along the Elbe River, overlooking Audi's latest executive express.
