2007 Audi Rs4 Phantom Black/black Prem Package 130k Miles, Very Good Condition on 2040-cars

US $23,800.00
Year:2007 Mileage:130126
Location:

Denver, Colorado, United States

Denver, Colorado, United States

Well-cared for and meticulously maintained enthusiast-owned car. Non-smoker, no pets or children. This is the only car I have owned since I bought it in 2007, and it has never let me down.

I am the 2nd owner after buying the car with 2600 (yes, that's right-2600) miles on it.
The car is in good condition inside and outside, with some minor wear in keeping with a daily driver car with over 100K miles.
People are surprised that the car has over 100k miles.  Mechanically, the car is sound and needs nothing.

Synthetic oil changes every 5K miles.
I use only Shell V-Power 91-octane fuel.
ALL RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE IS UP TO DATE.
New Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 all-season tires.
The car is stock, excepting Porterfield R4S brake pads and a JHM starter.
Clean Carfax, title in hand.

Issues:
Driver's side seat bolster shows some wear, but no cracking or splitting.
There are some pea-sized scrapes on the back bumper from where a nice little old lady chose the throttle instead of the brake at a stoplight.
There is some minor wheel rash (see pictures) but the wheels are straight and true.
One of the fog lights has a crack running through it, the result of the stealership cracking it when removing the front bumper to replace a headlight assembly, and me not noticing it until after I picked the car up (you can barely see it in the picture of the front of the car.)

Audi quattro all-wheel drive, manual 6 speed transmission
Normally-aspirated 4.2l V8 engine, 420 hp, 317 lb/ft torque...Jeremy Clarkson commented, "I've got a sneaking suspicion that I'm sitting about 4 feet from one of the greatest engines ever made."(Season 7 episode 2)
NOTE:  The RS4 engine is a completely different blueprint than the B7 4.2L S4 engine, and shares none of the weaknesses of that plant.
Recaro nappa leather seats
Fold-down back seats with ski-pass-through. Huge trunk for storing stuff
Premium package includes Navigation system, Bose premium stereo, Satellite radio, Bluetooth hands-free phone, heated front and rear seats, power sunroof, seats, windows, rear sun shade.

Voted World Performance Car of the Year in 2007.
Shares basically the same engine as the V8 version of the Audi R8 supercar.
Has the same Brembo brake kit found on the Lamborghini Gallardo.
0-60 4.6 seconds, 0-100 11 seconds, 1/4 mile 13.1 seconds.
The car was constructed in Neckarsulm, Germany, by quattro GMBH (equivalent of M for BMW and AMG for Mercedes) where the Audi R8 and other RS-model cars are built.

Comes with Audi car cover and extra OEM wheel.

2014 Audi S3 Cabriolet

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

Drivers are either droptop people or they're not. As most usually aren't - at least as far as the willingness to buy one is concerned - all convertibles tend to remain strictly niche cars. Thus, automakers must ask a noticeably higher price for them.
The Audi S3 Cabriolet is about as niche as you can get in the open daylight of mainstream automaking. Of course, the S3 cab doesn't really need to sell in big volumes; it exists because it's an easy and not too costly bit of flair for the company. In the US, this model would probably base out at around $44,000 if it were to join our fleet, which is problematic, as I'll soon explore.
In what may be a sign that Audi is essentially okay with all this, it had me up to central Sweden to twist around on the snow and ice in the open S3. The grounds ended up offering precious little ice and snow, so I drove the two-door ragtop on dusty, thawing Scandinavian roads. This was a blessing really, since ice driving in a cabrio - even a Quattro one - doesn't really reveal much of anything about such a car in its typical day-to-day life.

2014 Audi SQ5 ditches diesel, still packs a punch

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Over in Europe-land, the Audi SQ5 is a diesel-powered monster capable of sending a whopping 479 pound-feet of torque to its wheels. Naturally, this beast isn't coming to the States, but that doesn't mean we're missing out on the whole SQ5 experience altogether. At the Detroit Auto Show this week, Audi is debuting a new gasoline-powered version of the hot crossover, and while it's not quite the oil-burning dreamboat we've lusted after from afar, we certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed.
Instead of a diesel, we get a boosted version of Audi's supercharged 3.0-liter V6, good for 354 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. Running through an eight-speed automatic transmission, the SQ5 will reportedly be able to fire off 0-60 times in the low-five-second range and will top out at an electronically limited 155 miles per hour. Suspension upgrades are on hand to improve road-going prowess, but also lower the Q5's stance a bit, too.
Because this is an S model, there are plenty of visual upgrades on hand, including a more aggressive front fascia, 20-inch wheels and some pretty new colors including Estoril Blue and Panther Black. Interior upgrades like Alcantara trim and aluminum brightwork add to some sportiness from the cockpit view, as well.

Audi S3 Sedan boasts SAE 296 hp, 0-60 in 4.7 seconds

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

The (technically speaking) 2015 Audi S3 sedan should start at right near $39,000.
The last time Audi gifted the world with a small sport sedan was way back when the A4 wasn't an entry-luxury executive car costing relative gads of dough, so maybe since the mid-1990s. In a company decision reversal, we're now officially getting the new A3 Sportback starting later this year, but that's a five-door hatch and not a big volume attraction for markets like the United States. And there's no guarantee we'll get the S3 Sportback version yet. So, what to do?
