CLEAN CARFAX. CLEAN TITLE. NO RESERVE!! This car is in GREAT shape!! I bought this as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from an Audi dealer in 2010 and used it as my daily driver until now. It has been garage kept. I have all the maintenance and CPO records on hand. Chances are, if you're looking at this car, you already know what you need to know, but if not, let me be the first to tell you, this is an AMAZING machine!! It's got the same 4.2L V8 that is in the original R8 and puts out 420 BHP Naturally Aspirated with a 12.5:1 compression ratio!!! Couple that with AUDI's legendary Quattro AWD system, and you've got one hell of a driving experience!! I have loved every minute of driving this thing, and the only reason I even considered selling it is because of a change in the family financial situation. The car is seven years old and has the normal wear and tear you'd expect of a car that age… rock chips, leather wear (no rips/tears/holes), etc, but once you put your foot into the accelerator you'll forget all of that!! Other than the aforementioned wear/tear, it's completely stock except for the novelty license plate you see in the pics. Feel free to message me with any questions!! Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept takes the next-gen to the extreme
Tue, 04 Mar 2014There's little doubt that the new Audi TTS and its 310-horsepower, 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder will be very quick when released to the general public. As a means of reminding us that Audi can do much more with the little TT, though, the German manufacturer has presented this, the TT Quattro Sport Concept, alongside its litter of new sports cars.
Complete with a 420-horsepower, 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine - yes, it really puts out 210 horsepower per liter - the TT Quattro Sport can snap to 62 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds. 331 pound-feet of torque is also on offer, meaning this one-off TT outguns the TTS by 110 horsepower and 51 pound-feet of torque.
An S-Tronic transmission shuffles the power about, while the car itself rides on a lowered and stiffened suspension. 20-inch alloys are featured with centrally locking, racing-style hubs. Those racy wheels are housed in wells that have had their arches stretched an additional 1.18 inches, which, along with the lowered suspension, contribute to the TT's aggressive looks.
Audi, Toyota land on MIT's list of 50 Most Disruptive Companies
Sat, 23 Feb 2013MIT Technology Review, a magazine all about innovation, has announced its list of the 50 most disruptive companies in 2013, and both Audi and Toyota made the cut. While the term "most disruptive" may carry a negative connotation in most uses (especially in the classroom), the acknowledgement in this case is an accolade, signifying that the company is at the forefront of its industry. In a nutshell, a disruptive company is a business whose innovations force other businesses to alter their strategic direction.
Audi made the list for "pushing autonomous cars closer to fruition with a laser-scanning road detector that fits in a vehicle's front grille," and Toyota for "expanding its dominance of the hybrid-car market with its new plug-in version of the Prius." Audi previews sleek crossover concept ahead of Beijing debut
Tue, 08 Apr 2014With the Beijing Motor Show approaching just a couple of weeks down the road, automakers have begun announcing the concept cars they have in store. Nissan has a new sedan concept coming, Lexus will reveal the production NX crossover and Citroën has a tempting sports sedan concept lined up for the Chinese auto expo. And now Audi has hinted at what it has in store.
Revealing only a trio of renderings with no details to accompany them so far, Audi appears to have a new crossover concept in the works. Referred to only as the Audi Showcar Beijing 2014, the brief calls for a five-door crossover with a rather coupe-like roofline, rugged lower body cladding and a flexible cabin with quad bucket seats.
The form bears telltale similarities to the new TT, suggesting that this concept could be a further evolution of the Allroad Shooting Brake concept that Audi revealed in Detroit. If put into production, we could see it wearing the Q4 badge, giving Ingolstadt a rival to the likes of the BMW X4, Porsche Macan and Range Rover Evoque. However, until Audi tells us otherwise, that's all speculation...
