My feedback is 5000+ positive feedbacks over the last 10 years. I had this car for many years, everything in this ad is 100% true. I am looking for an easy sale please stop by at: 710 mill
circle #107 wheeling, il 60090 for a test drive. My 5ft tall
wife nags me daily to get her an SUV so she could sit higher, that is
the only reason the car is for sale.
2002 Audi A8L (A8 S8) 129k miles, car fax available. 30MPG on the highway, 700 miles range on 1 tank of gas (we drive from Chicago to Minneapolis and back all the time and we do get 30 mpg and 700 mile range on these trips) Car runs and drives ideally, runs perfectly straight, does not pull to the left or right. It is 4x4 quattro AWD. No rust anywhere because the whole car is made of Space frame aluminum (it does not rust). There is slight hail damage, hardly visible. Check engine is on indicating that catalytic converter below efficiency level (i had to sell the car to myself 4 maybe 5 times over the last 5 years in the state of Illinois because we require to pass emission tests yearly at the end of the year, that is the reason why it shows multiple owners, I owned this car since 2009). Left front window does not come down at all, all other windows /sunroof work fine. Rear window shades on the rear windows and back window don't function I just never bothered to fix it because the whole car is tinted. The front headlight washers don't pop out, they don't pop out on most of the a8 s out there. audi S8 line interior black and white. CLEAN TITLE (never been salvaged, never been wrecked, never been in any sort of major accident, all panels all original). Left side and rear bumper has been repainted in a shade different from the rest of the car, there was a small damage to the rear left fender a few years back (car fax shows that) when the body shop was repainting that fender they could not match the color perfectly so i told them to repaint the whole side of the car. Runs and drives ideally. Super smooth acceleration. Recent oil changes in engine and transmission, new rotors, pads (june 2014) New front suspension New ac compressor. New parts installed on the outside: Original / genuine Audi A8L 16" AUDI rims with (about 60-70% left on the tires) Car comes standard with original HID projector headlights, nights are literally like driving in a daylight. Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack squares off against Audi R8 V10 Plus
Wed, 22 May 2013The team over at Motor Trend has pitted the new Audi R8 V10 Plus against the Nissan GT-R. While both of the bright red all-wheel-drive supercars are comparably matched in power output, the similarities end there. Audi offers a mid-engine aluminum coupe with a naturally aspirated V10 that spits out 550 horsepower. Nissan shows up with a more traditional coupe equipped with a 545-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 at the front of the car.
The Head-to-Head video takes both cars to the Streets of Willow Springs in the California desert for some track work with professional racing driver Randy Pobst behind the wheel. After a day at the track, the pair head to the local mountains for some spirited real-world driving. One dominates on the circuit, while the other earns back its credibility in the canyons. We won't tell you which coupe comes out on top, but we think you may be surprised. Follow the link below to watch for yourself.
2014 Audi SQ5 ditches diesel, still packs a punch
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Over in Europe-land, the Audi SQ5 is a diesel-powered monster capable of sending a whopping 479 pound-feet of torque to its wheels. Naturally, this beast isn't coming to the States, but that doesn't mean we're missing out on the whole SQ5 experience altogether. At the Detroit Auto Show this week, Audi is debuting a new gasoline-powered version of the hot crossover, and while it's not quite the oil-burning dreamboat we've lusted after from afar, we certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed.
Instead of a diesel, we get a boosted version of Audi's supercharged 3.0-liter V6, good for 354 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. Running through an eight-speed automatic transmission, the SQ5 will reportedly be able to fire off 0-60 times in the low-five-second range and will top out at an electronically limited 155 miles per hour. Suspension upgrades are on hand to improve road-going prowess, but also lower the Q5's stance a bit, too.
Because this is an S model, there are plenty of visual upgrades on hand, including a more aggressive front fascia, 20-inch wheels and some pretty new colors including Estoril Blue and Panther Black. Interior upgrades like Alcantara trim and aluminum brightwork add to some sportiness from the cockpit view, as well.
