Brake pad sensor light flashes, as well as the Airbag light (no idea). Engine runs, revs, and idles fine. Transmission was replaced at 80,000 miles, shifts smooth. Car needs new brake rotors and pads. New Battery. Tires in good condition. There is one small exterior panel below rear passenger door that has faded. Ext. trim piece on drivers door is loose. Magazine pockets behind front seats are loose. These are all the known defects. Car sold as is."
Very pristine 1998 Audi A8. 113K miles. two-owner car... Car was bought with 20,000 miles by current owner. It was driven til 2010, when an o-ring in the oil cooler blew. It was repaired by Stuttgart Motors in Lexington, KY, but sat without being driven after that this spring. Car has always been serviced besides last service at Thoroughbred Motor Cars in Nashville, TN. Car is located south of Nashville. See condition description for a list of all known problems. Audi moves to patent electric Quattro and active-shutter wheels
Thu, 13 Feb 2014Audi might have a few tricks up its sleeve for the coming years, with the Brits at Autocar uncovering a pair of patent filings made by the German luxury brand. The first is something we've seen before - wheel flaps - while the second is an evolution of one of Audi's trademark technologies.
We last saw wheel flaps on the Ford Atlas Concept in 2013, but the futuristic fuel-saving tech has so far failed to arrive on a production car. Audi may be seeking to change that, patenting the flaps that open and close automagically based on airflow. They can also open if the brakes get too hot.
The second patent is an evolution of Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive. The new AWD system uses an electrically driven rear axle and wheel sensors to figure out when and at which corner the car might lose traction, and is targeted largely at hybrid offerings, which is a field Audi has only recently dipped its toe into.

2014 Audi RS7 priced from $104,900* in the US [w/video]
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Audi has officially priced the svelte 2014 RS7 from $104,900 (*not including $825 for destination), undercutting its sole competitor, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, by $8100. Even when we're talking about six-figure super sedans, that's not a small amount of money. And soon, this class of sleek stormers will be joined by the updated Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG 4Matic.
With its combination of a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter, 560-horsepower V8 engine and Audi's excellent Quattro all-wheel drive, the RS7 is expected to hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than the manufacturer estimate for the M6 Gran Coupe.
We've already given the RS7 a thorough shakedown in Europe, and we came away quite impressed with just how stunning this Audi is, both to drive and to look at. Now that we've got a price to go along with the performance and style, this Audi is even more appealing - in our high-dollar dreams, anyway.
