California Buyers- How to register a Acquisition Bill Of Sale

Take bill of sale (Acquisition bill of sale) to DMV.

They will give you a moving permit to get:

1. A smog check

2. A brake and lamp inspection

3. A vin# inspection done at DMV or CHP

4. If it's a truck, they will want you to weigh it

When completed, they will give you new plates and tags then send you

a new title, which will be a salvage title, in about 3 to 4 weeks average

Audi races ahead with new R8 LMS [w/video]

The biggest news from Audi at the Geneva Motor Show may very well be the reveal of the all-new, second-generation R8 supercar. But the road-going version isn't the only one it's rolling out at the Swiss expo, where it's joined by the new competition-spec R8 LMS. Set to hit race tracks around the world next season, the new Audi R8 LMS picks up where the current one leaves off, having taken 26 GT3 Championship victories and seven 24-hour race wins between 2009 and 2014. That's a heck of a mantle to assume, but the new model looks like it'll be up to the task. Based on the new road-going R8, the new LMS is built to 2016 GT3 regulations and in many ways even exceeds them. In fact, Audi says it meets the more stringent crash requirements for the LMP1 class, and includes its state-of-the-art Audi Protection Seat PS 1 from the R18 E-Tron Quattro. It also incorporates the emergency hatch Audi built in to its DTM racers. Of course, there's more to the new R8 LMS than safety. Despite the addition of those features, the whole package is a good 55 pounds lighter than the outgoing model, thanks to the lightweight spaceframe chassis and the increased use of carbon-fiber components – all the while offering more torsional rigidity. Power still comes from Audi's celebrated 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 585 horsepower, but is now mated to a new six-speed sequential gearbox and benefits from an entirely new electrical system, improved airflow and optimized aerodynamics. All that and more ought to help the new R8 LMS and its customer racing teams achieve the success they're after once it makes its competitive debut at the Nurburgring 24-hour race in mid-May 2016. The S6 and S7 (apparently prone to potential fuel leaks) aren't the only Audis being recalled currently, as a separate recall notice has been issued for its flagship A8 luxury sedan and its high-performance counterpart, the S8.
The problem apparently revolves around the glass sunroof, which is fitted as standard and which is reportedly prone to break. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration determined that not only could the falling shards themselves end up injuring the vehicle's occupants, but could also distract the driver enough to cause a crash. As a result, Audi's American wing is bringing in all 2013 and 2014 model year A8s and S8s - 1,120 units in all - to have their glass sunroofs replaced free of charge.

Audi will introduce a new, all-electric, MLB-based concept this September at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. According to CEO Rupert Stadler, production of the vehicle this concept foreshadows will eventually hit 10,000 units. Stadler isn't the only Audi exec dropping details on the company's high-riding EV. Research and development boss Ulrich Hackenberg let slip that the all-electric "sports activity vehicle," might be followed by both a gas-powered plug-in variant and hydrogen-fuel-cell model. According to Hackenberg, the production model will arrive in early 2018, cover about 310 miles per charge, and target the upcoming Tesla Model X. Look for more on this new model and the concept that will precede it as the Frankfurt Motor Show approaches. Related Video:
