Audi, A6, 3.2l Quattro. 2005. Very Sharp! Beautiful Car!! Needs Engine Work. on 2040-cars
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
Beautiful, very sharp, and very clean 2005 Audi, A6, 3.2 L Quattro. New body work to front grille, headlamps, and hood due to collision with deer. Outside of vehicle looks like new! Interior is also very clean. (tan leather with wood trim).
Recent engine repair estimate has caused me to try and sell the car and get a new one. Needs cam position sensors; timing chain guides, chain tensioners and related parts. Repair shop says the engine needs to be removed to properly access and repair these parts, and the labor cost that I will incur is much more than I wish to pay. Hoping to sell to a mechanic or technician who enjoys working on cars, and can fix this beauty on the cheap. This is a fantastic buy for the auto repair hobbyist, Audi/import car enthusiast or handyman who wants to fix up a car and re-sell (or keep for themselves). KBB value for private sale (in running condition) is $12,000! This car is loaded! Some of the features include....
I'd hate to sell this care for "parts" - as it still has MANY more legs and miles left on it. But if nobody wants to invest the time or labor to fix this - the parts alone on this car are worth thousands! The two(2) BRAND NEW Xenon, adaptive headlamps are worth over $1,000 each alone! I'm asking $4,500 or Best Offer. I need this much to pay off the remaining auto loan balance. |

2014 Audi RS7 priced from $104,900* in the US [w/video]
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Audi has officially priced the svelte 2014 RS7 from $104,900 (*not including $825 for destination), undercutting its sole competitor, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, by $8100. Even when we're talking about six-figure super sedans, that's not a small amount of money. And soon, this class of sleek stormers will be joined by the updated Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG 4Matic.
With its combination of a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter, 560-horsepower V8 engine and Audi's excellent Quattro all-wheel drive, the RS7 is expected to hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds, 0.4 seconds faster than the manufacturer estimate for the M6 Gran Coupe.
We've already given the RS7 a thorough shakedown in Europe, and we came away quite impressed with just how stunning this Audi is, both to drive and to look at. Now that we've got a price to go along with the performance and style, this Audi is even more appealing - in our high-dollar dreams, anyway. Take a look at a short video from Audi, as well as the official press blast, below.
Audi rules out R8 PHEV, will build E-Tron to order
Tue, 15 Jul 2014The question of whether Audi will morph the next-gen R8 (pictured above, in testing) into a plug-in-hybrid challenger for the BMW i8 may have been answered. CarAdvice, in Australia, is claiming that any plans for a PHV 2016 R8 have been shelved, and that Audi will go ahead with gas-powered or all-electric models, only.
Even then, the electric R8 E-tron (if it ends up being called that) would be built-to-order, and in much smaller quantities than the gas-powered model.
"In the next generation we will have an electric car on behalf of customers' needs, which is only available [upon special order]," Audi product manager Marie Suzanne Ernst told CA. "So it's not a make of series production, but if a customer wants to have it, he can order it."
Audi E-Tron vs. Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Model X: How they compare on paper
Tue, Sep 18 2018The all-electric crossover segment is suddenly heating up. Tesla was first to market with its Model X, and the California-based automaker has a several-year head start on the rest of the field. But now it has competition, with the Jaguar I-Pace already hitting dealerships across the globe and the just-announced Audi E-Tron hot on their heels. We decided to see how Audi's new entrant compares with its British and American rivals, so we downloaded their spec sheets (at least those that are available) and dumped them all into the spreadsheet you see below. As you'll soon find out, there are lots of similarities between these three electric crossovers, but each has a unique selling point or two with which to entice buyers. View 24 Photos Performance Note that we're using the Tesla Model X 75D for this comparison, since that's the model that is closest in price to the Jaguar and Audi entries. If you really want the fastest and most powerful electric CUV available, you're going to want to look at Tesla's ludicrous P100D model, but you'd better be willing to just about double the price you see in the chart above. With that out of the way, these particular electric crossovers are all pretty quick. The Jaguar boasts the quickest 0-60 time, but in the real world, that half-second advantage over the 75D won't amount to much. The Audi is a full second behind the Jaguar, and a little over a half second slower to 60 than the Tesla. A 5.5-second 0-60 time, though, still means the E-Tron will be able to squirt away from traffic lights quicker than the rest of the morning commuters. As far as battery capacity, Audi leads the way with 95 kWh, which is 5 more than the Jag and a whopping 20 more than the Tesla. Until we get estimated range figures, though, we won't know what the extra capacity means in the real world. In other words, stay tuned. View 74 Photos Exterior and interior dimensions The Jaguar is the smallest of these three 'utes, inside and out. The Tesla Model X is the largest. Does that make the Audi just right? Maybe, but only if you don't need a third row — the Model X is the only one of this trio that offers seating for six or seven passengers (depending on whether the buyer opts for a second-row bench or individual chairs). A smaller size may be a boon for drivers who often have to fit into tight spaces, but those slinky dimensions mean the Jaguar's cargo capacity is well behind that of the Audi and not even close to the cavernous Tesla.
