Audi A4 B5 2001 Quattro Heated Leather V6 2.8 Xenon Hid Cd Changer Silver Awd on 2040-cars
Rio Rancho, New Mexico, United States
I am selling my 2001 Audi A4 Quattro. It has LOW MILES at 84,000. The heated leather seats are in great shape. It is real leather, not the cheap leatherette. No rips, tear, etc. The interior is in great shape.
The car has an AM/FM/CD changer (six disc) Xenon HID headlights all wheel drive New rims (the original Audi rims will be included as well. Good Pirelli P4 tires V6 2.8 engine 5 speed automatic shiftronic transmission Power windows power locks 2 key fobs Power moon roof Power drivers seat Power passenger seat Auto dimming side mirrors Front and back windows are one touch up and down windows open and close via the key fob This car is in great shape and has low miles. The car has had 2 minor accidents with the previous owner (I am the second owner). The front and back bumper have some minor misalignment from the accidents. The car has a clean title and drives excellent. In the two years that I have owned it I had the water pump and timing belt changed, valve cover, cam tensioner and half moon gaskets changed. I had the ABS module repaired. Lastly, I replaced the spark plugs and the crankcase ventilation system. The only problem that I am aware of right now is the airbag module is acting up. The airbag light seems to come on when the car is cold. I have an airbag reset tool which I will include in the auction (it is as simple as plug it in and push a button, then you are done). The airbags always reset, but it will need some work. This started happening around 6 months ago and was not related to an accident as the car has not had an accident since around 2008. I am starting graduate school and don't have time to tinker with it. Other than that the car runs great. I have always used pure synthetic oil in it. |

Bentley testing new SUV in Audi Q7's clothes
Thu, 22 May 2014Sure, this looks largely like an Audi Q7. What if we told you, though, that it was actually a Bentley? This may be one of the very first sets of images we've seen of the aristocratic brand's SUV. Based on the borrowed Audi bodywork, however, testing appears to be in the early stages.
While it may look like an Audi Q7, there are a number of giveaways. One of the more subtle are the British number plates, in place of the traditional German plates that would be found were this a mule for the next Q7. Other changes are more noticeable. According to our spies, this mule is much wider, while its fenders have also been enlarged to accommodate larger wheels and tires.
Out back, four exhaust pipes jut out from the lower fascia, while larger brakes are hidden behind black wheels. The big indicator that this is something special, though, can be seen in the front fascia. The heavily modified front clip is home to two massive intakes below the headlights. According to our spies, these conceal a pair of intercoolers. Whether they are for Bentley (and Audi's) twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 or the 6.0-liter W12 is unclear.
Next Audi R8 to be up to 130 pounds lighter
Tue, 26 Nov 2013"Simplify and add lightness," as Lotus founder Colin Chapman said. In a world where even supercars are subject to environmental, efficiency and emissions standards, lighter vehicles are being looked on as a sort of panacea - make it lighter, and it's automatically faster, more agile, easier to brake and better on gas.
Knowing this, it comes as no shock that Audi is looking at ways to lighten up its next-generation R8, with the brand's head of technical development Ulrich Hackenberg targeting a 110- to 130-pound diet for the mid-engine rocket. This supports previous reports regarding the focus for the next R8. Motor Trend reports that aluminum and carbon fiber feature heavily in plans for the next R8, which should go a long way toward slimming down even the lightest of R8s, the 3,678-pound V10 Plus model.
There's more over at Motor Trend, including the buff book's attempts to get Hackenberg to discuss powertrain options for the next R8.
BMW reclaims US luxury sales crown from Mercedes
Tue, Jan 6 2015The numbers, they are in: BMW has reclaimed the luxury-sales crown from Mercedes by a margin of 9,347 cars. Mercedes donned the king's headgear in 2013 after a strong final quarter of 2013 when the new CLA and S-Class poured out of dealerships. This year, led by the 3 Series/4 Series and X5, BMW sold 339,738 units – a 9.8-percent increase year-on-year. Mercedes, led by the C-Class and M-Class, saw its sales go up by 5.7 percent to 330,391 units. We'll have to wait a bit to see if there's another registrations-vs-sales challenge as in 2012, when BMW was anointed US luxury ruler. Behind them, a dark horse named Lexus nudged closer to the leading Teutons, selling 311,389 cars. The Japanese luxury automaker also had the biggest gain among the top three, its sales rising by 13.7 percent compared to 2013. Audi had the biggest sales of anyone among the top five, though, with a 15.2-percent gain to 182,011, which moved it a spot ahead of Cadillac; the Wreath-and-Crest brand dropped 6.5 percent to 170,750. Acura (167,843), Infiniti (117,300), and Lincoln (94,474) took the final positions. Speaking of Lincoln, sales at the once-mighty luxury marque stand as the mightiest jump of any on this list, up 15.6 percent. That's the power of Matthew McConaughey... and better cars and a new crossover, sure. So now that we're back to Round One of 2015, in case no one else has said it yet: "Ok, fight!"
