3.2 Quattro 2009 Premium Plus, Low Miles, Heated Seats on 2040-cars
Port Gibson, Mississippi, United States
This Audi A4 Quattro (the 2009 model) is the last year Audi outfitted A4's with the 3.2L V-6 motor. It is the Premium Plus addition. It has tan interior and the blonde wood trim. I went from central Mississippi to Springfield, Missouri to get it in 2010. It was a program model for the Audi dealership there so I bought it as a certified pre-owned, but I am the only actual owner of the car. It has never been smoked in, nor bent or harmed in any way. It has been garage kept it's whole life. It has all-wheel drive and power everything (including heated seats). It has a 6 disk CD changer in that is in the dash. Everything works as it should and it drives incredibly well. Gas mileage is surprising as well, but keep in mind that it does take premium fuel. There is also an iPhone connection in the glove box (the iPhone 4 style connector). It will play your music through one of two on-board computers. It also has blue tooth, so hands free talking is available with any blue tooth capable smart phone, and the voice you hear comes through the cars' many speakers - the Premium sound system from Audi. The tires are in very good condition all the way around. I changed the front trim (where the front tag goes). We are not required to have front tags in Mississippi and I wanted to put on an European plate. A chip of paint came off of this after market trim piece and I touched it up. I do still have the original trim piece (included) and it is flawless. It has the duel temperature settings and the A/C and heat perform very well. I use the rubber floor mats in it, but it has the carpet ones as well. I also have the owners manuals and all of the original paperwork on the car. It has the Audi-original curved LED driving lights that look awesome at all times. I have a new truck to pull a boat and a bike and just do not need it any more. It's a beautiful car that drives and handles as one might (or might not) expect. It really is a must see/drive car. It will also undoubtedly be a collector sought-after vehicle with the rarity of the 3.2L V-6. It will have to be picked up, or I can meet in the Jackson - Vicksburg - Natchez, Mississippi area if it would help anyone. Thanks for looking. |

Audi teases even more of the next TT ahead of Geneva in latest video
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Audi is just a few days away from launching the third-generation TT at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but the new sports coupe has been so thoroughly teased, sketched, and spied that it almost seems like an anti-climax. Even the interior was thoroughly hinted at during this year's CES. But that's not keeping Audi from slowly revealing more and more parts of its new baby.
The TT is a modern automotive design icon. The first generation looked like nothing else on the road when it debuted, and the second generation added a needed dose of sportiness with the TTS and TT RS. The latest teaser video for Ingolstadt's sporty coupe shows more of its aluminum body than we've ever seen before, but the biggest mystery still lingering about the new TT is what engine Audi is slipping under the hood. Thankfully, the wait to find out will be quite short. Scroll down to get the best glimpse yet of the new coupe.
Audi A4 preps to go Allroad
Wed, Jul 22 2015Audi recently unveiled the lighter, larger, and sleeker 2017 A4, but the sedan is just the beginning. We know that A4 Avant and Allroad wagon versions are on the way too. Only the Allroad, however, is destined for these shores. These spy shots provide an early idea of what to expect for American buyers who prefer a longer roof and more room to haul in the back. A few key details distinguish this Allroad from the standard Avant, including the elevated ride height. Also, look carefully at the front three-quarters shot, and you can also pick out the more pronounced fender flares. Audi's designers made slight adjustments to the air dam, especially below the headlights, and there are some smaller tweaks to the rear bumper, as well. The Allroad's debut is expected to be staggered from the sedan and Avant versions, and the company obviously isn't talking about power yet. The only powertrains divulged for the 2017 A4 in the US are either a revised 2.0-liter TFSI or a 2.0-liter TDI diesel. Regardless of engine, all-wheel drive would certainly be standard to fit the more rugged version's styling. Related Video:
Audi says new 48 volt micro-hybrid system improves fuel economy, paves way for electrification
Mon, Aug 25 2014Most cars use a 12-volt system to power their electrical components. But, with more and more electric bits and bobs being added to new vehicles, a dozen volts is looking a bit weak these days. In fact, Audi says that standard 12-volt systems are being stretched "to their very limits." Enter 48 volts. If used in a car that gets 40 mpg, that would translate to around 43.5 mpg. Audi is testing a supplemental 48-volt electric system in two prototype vehicles – modified mild-hybrid versions of the A6 TDI and the RS 5 TDI – in order to add in more electric technology (an electric compressor, for example, to improve acceleration) and "convenience systems for dynamic chassis control." Audi says it has more applications in the pipeline, but the overall gist is that the German automaker sees 48 volts as an "important building block in electrification strategy." As you can see in the picture above (click to enlarge), the RS 5 TDI concept uses a li-ion battery installed in the back of the car and an alternator to provide 48 volts when the engine is off. Audi says that the 48-volt system can save up to 0.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. To put that into US numbers, if used in a car that gets 40 miles per gallon today, that would translate into a bump up to around 43.5 mpg. The Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC) is also working on a 48-volt system to improve fuel economy and we've got a deep dive of Audi's electric turbocharger here. Even more powerful and efficient – the new 48-volt technology from Audi Important building block in electrification strategy More voltage and more power for new technologies Scalable platform concept suitable for wide-ranging uses Ingolstadt, August 25, 2014 – Audi is to upgrade part of its vehicle electrical system from twelve to 48 volts. The move represents another technical building block for facilitating the integration of new automotive technologies while increasing the power and efficiency of its cars. "We are using the full bandwidth of electrification in our drive principles strategy. Running part of the vehicle electrical system at 48 volts plays a central role in this," commented Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Member of the Board of Management for Technical Development at Audi. "It enables us to make more energy available.
