It has a mirror finish, and incredible color...It was a garaged vehicle....obviously. The inviting rich leather interior is equally as nice. And as stated earlier, the canvas top (with integrated rear defroster) is like new. This Audi is loaded with everything and it runs and drives superbly. Just like new. The 18-inch upgraded Audi aluminum/alloy wheels really set this A4 apart in a crowd and they have a complete set of premium heat-and-speed rated radials all the way around. The wheels look very impressive on this beauty. and these are excellent performance radials and they allow it to handle and ride like a dream. The tire size is 235/45R18. And they are perfect for any driving condition. Wet, or Dry! This A4 Convertible has great power from its 16-valve 1.8 liter Turbo-charged powerplant and smooth 5-speed automatic transmission, and road control is never a problem with its Stability Control with All Season Traction. It has a Tiptronic transmission, which will certainly make your daily commute an enjoyable one. You can drive it like a smooth automatic, or get a bit more aggressive and have complete control of your gear box with clutch-less shifting. This is a great feature! This luxury sport convertible accelerates quickly and drives just as smoothly. It was a pampered vehicle and as stated, the Camel Cloth convertible canvas top looks outstanding. Its hard to find cars this well cared for, but here it is! At this moment, I would like to mention that in June of 2005...when the car was less than 6 months old and had less than 5,000 miles on her, the previous owner ran into a curb, and made a police report. This isn't a joke. She did! She made a report to her insurance company & therefore, it shows up on the CarFax. If this concerns you, please e-mail me and I will send over the report for you to see where it is documented that it was an accident with a curb. Watch the Chevy Corvette dismiss its Euro rivals at the hands of a Brit magazine
Sat, 08 Feb 2014European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."

2014 Audi R8 GT zooming toward Le Mans reveal
Mon, 17 Jun 2013According to a report from Autocar in the UK, the Audi R8 is set to get something of a swan song for its own going-away party in the form of an updated GT model for the 2014 model year. If Autocar is right, this even higher-performance Audi R8 will debut at the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France.
The 2014 Audi R8 GT Plus will reportedly get a tuned version of the much-loved 5.2-liter V10 engine that Audi has used to good effect in past R8 models. A six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic would send power to the rear wheels, enabling a 3.4-second 0-62 mile per hour run and a top speed of 199 mph.
Judging from spy shots that we've already seen (reprised above), the new GT Plus will be fitted with an aggressive body kit that includes a massive rear wing, a more prominent front splitter and enlarged side blade ducts. A Spyder version of the GT Plus may be on tap for 2015. Pricing, obviously, is unknown, as is any potential launch date. In other words... stay tuned.

Fri, 18 Jul 2014Match up a hot hatch with a supercar of the same vintage, and we'll tell you who will win every time. It's easy, really, as the supercar invariably features a more advanced suspension, stickier tires and most importantly, more power. What if the hot hatch is race prepped, though?
In that particular case, all bets are off. A circuit-tuned suspension, a stripped-down cabin, an ultra-quick sequential transmission and the greatest equalizer of them all, slick tires, are all that's needed to turn the typical hot hatch into a proper dragon slayer.
Perhaps seeking to prove this, Evo has put together an interesting head-to-head between the Audi R8 V10 and a race-prepared Renault Clio Cup. Host Dickie Meaden takes us through each car, highlighting the bits and bobs on both sides which should make this a tight competition. And boy, is this one tight.
