2004 Audi A4 Cabriolet-1.8t Turbo-southern Car-low Mileage-best Colors-18"wheels on 2040-cars
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
Welcome to a great opportunity. You are viewing a beautiful, fair-weather and exclusively California and Florida-owned and driven, low mileage 2004 Audi A4 Cabriolet Turbo. This Cabriolet is extremely, extremely sharp! Let me take you on a personal tour of this super-attractive convertible. This Audi ragtop is sexy, sleek, extra-clean and ready to make a lucky new owner very happy. Certainly one of the most desirable color combination for this convertible. Spectacular High-gloss Dolphin Grey Metallic Clearcoat exterior compliments the Black leather interior perfectly, and combined with the perfect-condition, Black convertible power top, this is a very classy looking Cabriolet. The interior is in good condition as well, and it was owned by a non-smoker. With an interior this nice and clean, and complimenting to the Dark Grey Metallic exterior, it certainly was the color combination that was sitting front and center on the Audi dealer's showroom floor in 2004. This Audi A4 Cabriolet has all the bells and whistles including dual 10-way power seating and dual remote electric power mirrors, independent climate control, Ultra-high power SONY audio system with BOSE speakers and BlueTooth, Homelink garage door opener with 3 position settings, rear defroster (for those of you in "not so fortunate climates"), keyless remote entry, High-Intensity lighting, factory foglamps, Solar Ray tinted glass, on-board information center, factory security system and so much more. The luxurious interior trim exudes style in what is considered by most as one of the world's most recognizable performance convertibles. This one get looks and stares everywhere because of its condition--and is an absolute pleasure to drive--top up, or down. And of course, the top is completely power and self-enclosed, with simply a touch of a button. One-touch operation and the top is up, or down! And it has the express window feature. It doesn't get much easier than that folks! Expect to get one of the front Valet Spots much more often now! This A4 Turbo Cabrio has been cared for by the Pro's at the Audi dealership, both in California and in South Florida. The previous owner lived in Malibu and then moved to Fort Lauderdale. The sleek exterior is in excellent condition. Absolutely no dents or unsightly parking lot door dings, scratches or scuffs, and the finish is spectacular. It has a mirror finish, and incredible color...The inviting leather interior is equally as attractive, and we are applying a light coat of black dye and conditioner to the front seats this week to bring them back to new condition again. And as stated earlier, the canvas top (with integrated rear defroster) is excellent. This Audi is loaded with everything and it runs and drives superbly. The 18-inch upgraded powder-coated Audi aluminum/alloy wheels really set this A4 apart in a crowd and they have a complete set of ZR premium heat-and-speed rated radials all the way around. The wheels look very impressive on this beauty. and these are excellent performance radials and they allow it to handle and ride like a dream. The tire size is 225/40R18. And they are perfect for any driving condition. Wet, or Dry! This A4 Convertible has great power from its 16-valve 1.8 liter Turbo-charged powerplant and smooth 5-speed automatic transmission, and road control is never a problem with its Stability Control with All Season Traction. It has a Tiptronic transmission, which will certainly make your daily commute an enjoyable one. You can drive it like a smooth automatic, or get a bit more aggressive and have complete control of your gear box with clutch-less shifting. This is a great feature! This luxury sport convertible accelerates quickly and drives just as smoothly. It has been a well-kept vehicle. Its hard to find cars this well cared for, but here it is! At this moment, I would like to mention that in June of 2013, the previous owner got bumped into in a parking lot, and made a police report. This isn't a joke. She did! She made a report to her insurance company & therefore, it shows up on the CarFax. If this concerns you, please e-mail me and I will send over the report for you to see where it is documented that it was an incredibly insignificant incident. Probably reported because the owner may have panicked, she elected to make a report. No big deal, but it is there. And we wanted to make you aware. I can send it over at your request. It makes no difference. This car is gorgeous, it happened last year, it has been addressed and is a non-issue. We have this beautiful 2004 Audi A4 Cabriolet offered on auction for 7 days with No Reserve.....that's right folks, this is a True Auction. One lucky bidder will get a front-line vehicle that was serviced and is ready for a trip cross-country, or a trip to the Country Club! This is a great driving car. Extra-clean, super-attractive and a pleasure to drive. This car has never been smoked in. With summer here, imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy and elegant automobile, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road. Warm up your computer fingers and let the bidding begin! But please, it you get outbid at the end, usually in the last minute, or last few seconds (It always happens), please do not "ask us to find you another one like this because you were outbid". They just simply do not come along. The dealer installed 18-inch color-keyed Black Wheels really give this A4 Cabriolet a great, aggressive look, and it definitely turns heads. If you live locally, please, please come by and look this car over and take it for an extensive test drive. You will quickly fall in love! We can assist with transport within the Continental US, and of course, free airport pick-up is available from Jacksonville International airport. We list our vehicles to sell, and many sell with just a simple phone call to our sales associate. Don't miss out on this one. With only 74,000 original, sunny, fair-weather miles, this Audi is just getting warmed up. That's less than 7,000 miles per year folks! All in nice weather! That makes a HUGE difference. No harsh weather, no harsh roads, no salt, no snow, no potholes, etc...you should be getting the picture. Please feel free to call or e-mail us and enjoy a wonderful buying experience. Call Steve at 561.283.9511 for more details or a walk around the vehicle. Don't make the mistake of missing out on this rare find. Great color combination, fantastic condition. The latest August 2014 NADA Used Car Guide values this A4 Cabriolet Turbo at over $11,250 and certainly much more at your friendly neighborhood Audi dealership, or local Import Auto Boutique. Go ahead and treat yourself to this wonderful and timeless-design Cabriolet...at a fraction of its original cost. We charge a nominal $299 dealer fee to each purchase. Good Luck to everyone bidding. Former Ferrari F1 chief could be new Lamborghini CEO
Wed, Dec 16 2015The word on the street in Bologna is that Lamborghini is in for a changing of the guard. Current CEO Stephan Winkelmann is tipped to step down after 14 years at the helm in Sant'Agata, likely to move to another role at Audi. And in his place, the German automaker is anticipated to appoint Stefano Domenicali. Domenicali was formerly the head of Scuderia Ferrari, rising through the ranks at Maranello to succeed Jean Todt as team principal in 2008. He resigned in 2014 to be replaced first by Ferrari US chief Marco Mattiacci and then by Marlboro man Maurizio Arrivabene as the team has struggled to find its form again. Shortly after leaving Maranello, Domenicali took up a new position at Audi, where he was rumored to be working on the company's anticipated foray into Formula One with Red Bull. But after that program was shut down in the wake of the diesel emissions scandal, Domenicali is now tipped to move back to Italy to take over the supercar business. Stefano would be the second Domenicali to head an Italian performance brand under the VW/Audi umbrella, joining Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali (they not believed to be related). The move would also be a particularly emphatic gesture to Sergio Marchionne. The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles chief has previously lost top lieutenants to Volkswagen, most notably Luca de Meo, who headed up VW brand's passenger car marketing department before taking over at Seat. While previous Ferrari chiefs Todt and Montezemolo came up through the racing department, Marchionne assumed the chairmanship in Maranello and brought in outside talent instead. Meanwhile Winkelmann has been in charge of Lamborghini since 2005, when he was appointed by Audi to run the company it had just acquired a few years prior. Under the tenure of the German-Italian executive, Lamborghini sales have risen from 1,600 units per year to over 2,500 last year. The introduction of the forthcoming Urus crossover, birthed under Winkelmann's leadership, is expected to more than double that overall figure. Given his success in transforming Lamborghini, it isn't likely that the Volkswagen Group will simply show Winkelmann the door. Word has it that he'll receive another posting at Audi, potentially taking over the growing Quattro GmbH division in Neckarsulm. The division is responsible for all of Audi's RS models as well as the R8 – the latter of which Audi sells as many units as the entire Lamborghini division does in a year.
New Audi Allroad Shooting Brake concept images leak out, next TT previewed?
Fri, 10 Jan 2014The Detroit Auto Show media preview kicks off on Monday, which means the time is just about ripe for previously embargoed images and information to start leaking out onto the web in a major way. Case in point is this Allroad Shooting Brake from Audi, a seemingly close-to-production vehicle that may foreshadow the styling of the upcoming Audi TT, or hint at the looks of a Q1, or both.
The TT bit may seem far fetched, but we do know that Audi has used a small wagon concept to preview the design of an upcoming TT before - back in 2006 before the release of the gen-two car. We also fully anticipate the Q1 to be breaking cover sooner rather than later, so the safe money is that the concept closely resembles what that production vehicle will ultimately look like, though perhaps with a bit more height overall.
And, frankly, be it a TT or Q1 or both, we like what we're seeing. Sharp character lines on a rounded body form follow the idiom of the current TT rather nicely, while the big-wheels-at-all-corners stance plays into the sporting character we'd expect from any small Audi. Inside, we see the same Virtual Cockpit, MMI controller, and vents that we recently took in at CES, though with a slightly different steering wheel (with the starter button built right in). Tidy work here, too.
Audi R18 suffers huge crash during Le Mans practice, driver conscious and alert
Wed, 11 Jun 2014Loic Duval, driver of the #1 Audi R18 E-tron Quattro, suffered a massive crash today during free practice for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Duval's car reportedly went off track backwards at high speed near the Porsche Curves and flew into the retaining fence. There is no video of the actual crash at the moment, but a video of the aftermath (viewable below) shows significant damage to the Audi and to the fence. The wall nearby the car appears unaffected.
Thankfully, it occurred quite close to a marshal's stand, and they were present almost immediately after the incident. Both the official press release from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a tweet from Audi Sport (below) indicated that Duval was conscious after the crash, and he was taken by ambulance to the medical center and then to the hospital. The press release says: "His condition is encouraging." However, any injuries he might have sustained are unknown at this time. After the crash, the course was red flagged, and practice resumed about 50 minutes later.
Duval is alert. He will be transported from the Medical Center to the hospital for further examinations #R18 #LM24 @FIAWEC @24hoursoflemans
