2004 - Audi A4 on 2040-cars
Dexter City, Ohio, United States
2004 Audi A4 Ultrasport (B6 Model). This car has been taken care of inside and out ever since it has been in my possession. I am the second owner of this car and purchased it at 107K miles. It currently has 148K miles on it. The oil is changed every 6K miles with full synthetic. This car is superb and looks amazing. The AWD is everything you imagine it to be. This car handles amazing in the snow with no problem. I run my summer tires throughout the NE Ohio winters because thats how good this car is in the snow with the AWD system. I have no worries about driving this car anywhere no matter what the weather. ULTRASPORT PACKAGE - To my knowledge the Ultrasport package is basically an upgraded front and rear bumper (like S4) as well as the door blades, basically is a S4 without the V8 motor and S4 badging. Really nice upgrade from the basic model package I had the windows tinted last year and it gives it a great look. 5% in the rear and 20% in the front. I also installed a Double-DIN JVC Head-Unit a couple years ago and ran the iPod integration to the glovebox so you do not have any wires going through the cabin area. Very clean install. This JVC unit is Sirius & Pandora Ready if you wish to use it as well as Navigation.

Audi teases even more of the next TT ahead of Geneva in latest video
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Audi is just a few days away from launching the third-generation TT at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but the new sports coupe has been so thoroughly teased, sketched, and spied that it almost seems like an anti-climax. Even the interior was thoroughly hinted at during this year's CES. But that's not keeping Audi from slowly revealing more and more parts of its new baby.
The TT is a modern automotive design icon. The first generation looked like nothing else on the road when it debuted, and the second generation added a needed dose of sportiness with the TTS and TT RS. The latest teaser video for Ingolstadt's sporty coupe shows more of its aluminum body than we've ever seen before, but the biggest mystery still lingering about the new TT is what engine Audi is slipping under the hood. Thankfully, the wait to find out will be quite short. Scroll down to get the best glimpse yet of the new coupe.
Audi UK in hot water over dealer safety claims
Wed, 14 May 2014Car salesmen don't exactly have a reputation for being in the most truthful profession, and it appears that several Audi showrooms in the UK are playing into that stereotype. A BBC investigation found that multiple dealers told buyers that the company's models scored well in Euro NCAP crash tests. No big deal, right? The problem was that the vehicles were never actually evaluated.
The report began after an R8 buyer sent in a tip that his UK dealer claimed the sports car had received top Euro NCAP scores. However, it has never been tested by the organization. The BBC called 10 dealers inquiring about the A5 (pictured above), which also wasn't assessed. Nine said the coupe had been checked out, and six claimed it had a five-star rating - the best available.
Euro NCAP is funded by governments and motoring bodies, like the ADAC in Germany and the FIA. According to its website, the organization selects some of the most popular new models each year to crash test, and, the BBC claims, automakers can also pay to evaluate their cars. The last Audi tested was the A3 in 2012. The A6, Q3, A1, A4 and Q5 have also been tested since 2009, and they all received five-star ratings. However, the A5, A7, A8 and R8 have not been tested.
Audi kicks off ad campaign tonight with stirring new spot
Mon, 13 May 2013Following last week's entertaining and wildly popular Spock vs. Spock video, Audi has come back with a bevy of videos for its new advertising campaign that will begin airing tonight in primetime and on cable.
There are five ads altogether, but the longest one, a 60-second spot titled It Couldn't Be Done, is our favorite by far. Set to a reading of the poem of the same name by Edgar Albert Guest, the commercial chronicles the history of Auto Union Deutschland Ingolstadt from the days of its founder, August Horch, through its many decades of innovation, competition and creativity. Indeed, watching the commercial gave us chills similar to when we first heard the Ram brand's Farmer commercial that aired during this year's Super Bowl.
The other four commercials are shorter 15-second spots that focus on such familiar themes as the company's Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the safety of its vehicles, their style and the company's advances in LED lighting. While less impactful than the longer ad, we think they effectively sound the drum beat of Audi's preferred tag line: Truth in Engineering. Scroll down to watch all five new ads, starting with the 60-second It Couldn't Be Done.
